Love a good frozen marg, chips and queso basket, and patio setup. And Lou's offers just that. This food stand is counter service; order and pay, take your buzzer, then grab your goods at the pickup window. I did the regular marg, and my bestie got the blackberry (I think?) marg. I tasted hers, and as good as it was, nothing beats a classic frozen. Patio is dog friendly. Looking forward for another cheat meal where I can try some of their other menu items. Think onion rings, burgers, tendies, breakfast tacos, y mas!

Been driving past Lou's on the way to Rockman's quite a few times. Caught my eye was the sign for Burger, so here I am. I went for the Classic and fries. You get the beeper and hang out for a bout 10 minutes, the beeper goes off and you are excited. Walk up to the window and get your bag of delights. (Now this is when I question tipping). Went around back and sat at a picnic table to get on with this burger. It was good, not great. A bit like an overcooked and oversalted burger at your friend's BBQ. I am sure people love this place. I come back to give it a second try, just not the burger. There are so many other choices around that are far superior.

It's been a few years since I've stopped here for food, but I'm happy to report that they have not dropped the ball. I got the chicken wrap and a chicken sandwich and was delighted at both, but I think the wrap beat it out by a hair. I feel like the fries are slightly overpriced, but the taste made up for it so I won't complain too much.

The Mushroom and Provolone burger was SO good. It is made of steak, and it is moist stays in tact as you pick up the burger but steak melts easily into your mouth and is tender to chew. Pairs so well with honey mustard. Bread ratio is high as it is thick but bread is soft and not difficult to bite into at all. To my surprise, rotisserie chicken was ALSO tender and easy to pull apart, not dry at all. Also pairs well with honey mustard. The wait was lengthy and there were a few people in line when we got there around 7/8 in the evening. A lot more space in the back (10+ picnic tables and a ping pong table) in addition to the seating in the front of the restaurant. You can park on the side of the street if you keep on heading straight by the restaurant (free after 7pm). Restaurant is right on the corner of the intersection, located directly across the street from Mr. Natural. Lousy area outside but comfortable and safe.

Cute lil neighborhood chicken spot, quick service, it's counter services. Corner is nice tight little parking spot better to park on the street

New to the area and I walked by with my dog on Monday. We saw the burger specials for Wednesdays and decided to come back then. We were not disappointed! Service: 5 Friendly, welcoming folx working all sides: register + service window. Ambiance: 5 Plenty of outdoor seating w/ fans and misters for the Texas heat. We could've sat in the heavily shaded back but opted for a somewhat shaded bench seat in front. Drink: 4 I went with a bourbon & lemonade concoction. It was good, not great. While I generally order an old-fashioned, a beer may have gone better with my burger, I'll let you know next time. Food: 5 The mushroom & provolone burger gets a solid 5+ stars. Juicy, flavorful, and appropriately messy! Really a great burger! The fries were good, not great. I prefer mine with more seasoning, but I tend to eat the burger first and let the fries catch all the goodness that drips out, including the mushrooms and onions from this burger. To quote a classic movie: I'll be back.

I had Lou's for the first time recently and I have been missing out!! I love the ordering process- grab a table, scan the QR code, food gets brought to you pretty quickly. We ate here after the Statesman Cap10 and it was just what we needed. Will definitely be returning!

A cool spot on Cesar Chavez with tasty food, a wide variety of drinks, and great outdoor vibes. The rotiserrie chicken ($14 for half) was juicy, flavorful, and filling. The Lou's green sauce on the side was a lovely compliment too. BF had the burger ($13.50) - it looked really good. I also saw other patrons having wings, salad, and sides that looked incredible. I definitely need to come back for the onion rings. The staff are super nice :) There is seating in the front and also a giant patio in the back with turf, a bunch of picnic tables, TVs and games to play. Order at the window, and grab a buzzer.

No indoor seating. Our chicken fingers were chewy and flavorless. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good rotisserie chicken and a nice selection of unique dipping sauces Overpriced and possibly overhyped.

Lou's Eastside has half off custard on Sunday's! The add on's are about $1 each. Definitely a sweet and refreshing Summer treat

Very cute spot, don't get me wrong. Easy to get to and has parking. Fans for hot and fire pit for cold Food is okay ‍ The main thing though are that the drinks were terrible. Their spicy cucumber spritzer type thing and it just tasted like watered down pepper juice I couldn't even finish it. It could have just been maybe a new bartender but you can't really see them or interact so kind of awkward. They were showing football but no sound so sort of boring but I'm sure it's nice if you're wanting that

Nice spot to grab a small bite and some coffee. They have a decent menu including breakfast items, alcohol, sandwiches, etc. I just got 1 brisket taco and it was juicy and flavorful. My friend got the breakfast sandwich and she said it was decent. My horchata latte wasn't all that. A downside about this place is that there is no indoor seating - everything is outdoor. But they have umbrellas, fans, and mist for customers to be more comfortable which is nice.

Cute spot with friendly staff! Brussel sprouts were very good - they contain honey but are vegan otherwise. Love that this restaurant hosts so many events. Parking is very limited but there's free neighborhood parking a few blocks away.

I felt the vibe instantly, like as soon as I put one foot in the door. Magical, sophisticated, worldly, wonderful and more were the feelings that spontaneously hit me. The dark and elegant decor, lighting, design, & layout made me feel as though I were in a high-end Tokyo cocktail lounge. The front room as I mentioned is an intimate bar and lounge area with artwork adorning the walls. It's a modern, minimalist, and sleek space. The artwork is ever-changing (every couple of months or so) and the cocktail menu changes right long with it. Note: artwork is available for purchase. What an absolutely glorious way of combining different mediums (liquid art vs physical art). The craft cocktails & mocktails are the epitome of works of art. I've had great cocktails and mocktails elsewhere but honestly I'd be hard pressed to find anything on this level. You're taken into an entirely different realm just watching the genius of mixologists. It's mesmerizing watching them hone their craft. In the back of the lounge is an enclave of eclectic art and other pieces that then leads you to Konbini, the sushi bar. It's an industrial, warehouse vibe with a long counter that screams hip, Tokyo inspired, late-night eatery. Service is impeccable and welcoming at this cosmopolitan venue. It's truly an amazing experience.

THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here to catch up with a buddy that enjoys wine as much as I do. Starting off, we got a glass of Aubry brut 1er cru glass. Nice, acidic, and bubbly. What I expect out of champagne. We got a philippe jouan (aka pinot noir) bottle which was so delicious. For food, we got the baguette and a egg confit dish that was divine. Then wrapping up, we got a single glass of produttori del barbaresco and capellano barolo. These were super old wines from the 80s and boy were they screaming tertiary notes. Awesome experience. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, we spent around $270 for a bottle of pinot noir, two glasses of really old wine and a sneak peek bite of their tasting menu. Will be back to try more wines and food.

The Scarlett crab was soo good and added the perfect amount of saltiness and sweetness to the comforting soup! For our mains, we got the duck which had a delicious hoisin sauce. While I enjoyed the bok choy I felt it could have a better accompaniment. We also got the salmon which had a smaller portion, but was unique in its taste and execution. It did come with a mix of mussels, clams, shrimp, and sausage, with a side of toast, but I can't justify this part of the experience. We also ordered calamari and croquetas. The croqueta was delicious and flavorful, but the calamari didn't stand out. It tastes like any other calamari. The ambiance itself is cute and the service was great, but the food was lacking.
