A cute spot! Very lovely interior and a great patio with fans and shade. Service was pretty good the times I went and they are very accommodating for a gluten and dairy allergies. Lots of options! I like their Bun bowl with grilled chicken the best. The fried rice was pretty good but I didn't love the steak and it was heavy on bean sprouts. The chicken crunch spring roll was just okay. The latter two were pretty pricey so the bun bowl definitely feels best value. Also generally love the shrubs--though some are definitely better than others. WOW!! This place was PERFECT!! I was a bit hesitant at first with the bakery-Vietnamese fusion but guys: this place is AWESOME!! The Singapore noodles were to die for and the chicken vermicelli bowl was generous and delicious! My little brother loved the nutella banana hazelnut crepe and we all enjoyed the summer rolls (shrimp and pork was our favorites)! We came at around 1 PM, and they were slammed with customers ( now I see why) and was a 20 minute wait time. 1) 2 stars for ambiance. This café is so cute. It says it's right on the corner with the patio and then an inside, intimate seating area. During the day, it's really lively and at night it's very quaint and sweet, perfect for a date 2) food is 1 star. The spring rolls were mostly rice, the pork was extremely chewy and overcooked. The salad that I got was also very underwhelming, although the dressings were really good. Probably due to location, but I would say this place is overpriced / overrated. Brunch has some great options but again hit or messed with the protein, being overcooked or the portions being really small. 3) I would rate the service 1 star. We waited at least 15 minutes for water. And the server walked by at least three times without seeing if I needed anything. The service and food are both subpar... esp for the price. Really disappointed with my experience here. Not to mention annoyed they charged a $4per person cake fee. You would think that running up a $500+ bill of food and drinks would be enough profit for them but nope! They have to charge a cake fee which ended up being over $30... extra annoying when you consider the fact you only bring a cake when it is literally someone's birthday. The Pork Belly Steamed Buns and Steamed Rice Rolls were outstanding. We also had the Fried Spring Rolls and Ginger Chili Oil Dumplings--both excellent choices. For entrées, we ordered the Drunken Beef Noodles and Ribeye Fried Rice, which were packed with flavor. Dessert was the perfect ending: Ube Vanilla Ice Cream and a couple of macarons. The addition of raw Thai basil, sprouts, and carrots made it super refreshing. I loved the fried garlic on top to give it extra crunch and flavor. So delicious, still thinking about it now! It came in a huge bowl that's shareable for 2. On the brunch menu, it is under the Specialties section. We were seated outside, which worked out well as the weather was great and it was loud inside. A party of a 5 plus a child they made us a share a table with strangers and charge 20% mandatory gratuity for real crappy service. There's a fee for everything. 4$ per person if you bring a cake to celebrate a birthday. They messed up our initial drink order too and said they would fix it but took forever and we had to remind our waiter only for her to give us an attitude. They wouldn't split a check. Most of the party ordered the beef pho and I went with the bun bo hue. It tasted "cleaner" than the BBH that I'm used to and had a generous amount of meat and toppings in the bowl. Although it was a different experience, I would pass next time and just come back here for the pastries because thy were absolutely DIVINE. We ordered croissants for the table in almond, butter, chocolate, almond, and everything. Crispy, flakey, and tasty, all at once! We also ordered several banh mis to go (grilled pork was my favorite!) for the F1 event and they held up well after a few hours. The service was friendly and the interior decor is super cute. Came on Friday to check them out. They have a half off appetizers menu I believe starting at 3pm and it's during the week days. Parking lot is like 4 parking spaces, and 2 handicap parking. There are stairs, I didn't see a ramp. The street parking is on a narrow street, and it's just a line of cars and you pretty much better know how to parallel park. I actually got parking in their tiny lot. Went inside to check in with the host. They have inside/outside dining. Since it was still a decent weather day and just spent 2 hours walking, outside suited me just fine. They do have the cutest tables and chairs and bonus, heat lamps. I ordered the fried spring rolls. I asked how many you get and she said 6. You actually get 3 small rolls and they cut them in half. Had I paid their full price of $13.00 I would have been super disappointed. Their spring rolls are very tasty. I did enjoy them. The size and quantity will keep me from ordering them again. The fried spring rolls are good, but I will try something else next time. Used the ladies room before leaving. And the bathroom is very dark. To shine a little light, maybe it's not very hygienically clean if you can't see properly. read more

Outdoor seating looked nice too. I will say it is a little loud inside, so if it's not too hot, outdoor seating may be the way to go. I am scoring 2 because the kids pho broth was nice and my kiddo finished it. I appreciate that they provide the garnishment for the kids pho bc most places don't but HUGE downvote for charging $4 extra for some dry chicken. I understand that their rent is probably astronomical but it's gross to spend $25 on s small portion of Singapore noodles that have THREE shrimps. I am also sharing a photo of the "opera cake" dessert. This is not a traditional opera cake and I wish they had disclosed this. Also, it's comically small. Really cute and quaint restaurant with inside and outside seating. Very small parking lot but plenty of street parking surrounding the restaurant and there's a parking lot with meters next door. We started with the lemonade and green tea + lemonade and both were pretty salty; we later confirmed with the waiter that they cure the lemons for the lemonade which gives it a salty flavor. We ordered the pork buns, beef pho and the flank steak banh mi. The pork buns came out super fast and were delicious - the pho and banh mi took 30+ minutes. The waiters were very nice and hospitable about it but it was almost like they did a shift change when we ordered because we ended up with a different waiter half way through our visit so I'm not sure if that attributed to it.
