We just had a great time and the food was delicious! This is a local place that's been around forever so I've been told. We've been meaning to check it out and I wish we'd come here sooner. It's a restaurant/bar with really fun decor. Our server, Skyler, was an absolute gem! I ordered the Hauty Parisian flatbread which is topped with Seared Filet Tips, Artisan Lettuce, Goat Cheese, Tomatoes, and a Zesty Balsamic Drizzle.. yummy! Parking might be tricky depending on when you come. You can park along busy Broadstreet or drive around back. It's straight across the street from the Historic Courthouse. We arrived to this bar at 10pm. Most locations in the area are closed around this time, so it was great that we had a food option. The wings were really good. My husband sat at the bar for almost 10 mins to place a to go order. No one even said hello or someone will be with you. Walked by a couple of times and didn't he didn't even get acknowledged. Wow this place really hit the spot. Went in the middle of the day when it wasn't crowded and sat in the bar got a cold beer and looked at the menu with my son who just turned 21. Typical pub but really wanted to try the food and was craving a burger so I got the mushroom burger rare which had really good onion rings and rings on top it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Others would've said it's too rare I want to moo when I bite into it! My son got the Philly cheese and there was so much meat on both we took half our sandwiches home and still couldn't even finish him that night. Service was great, friendly, but the food was spot on which is what I look for as well as timely service and keeping my beer full. When you combine basic food and basic service you get FRIENDS. The food is the typical "all-American", and the service slow! We have visited multiple times, with kids. Each time we are treated well, but the service I slow and flavor lacking. The kid selections are limited and small portioned. The adult portions, while decent, are n9t cooked well. I'll be honest, I did not used to care for this place very much. I tried it again earlier this year and found a new menu and a much friendlier atmosphere. The bar area seems fun and is very noisy but I prefer quiet so I like to sit on the patio and my service has been great and they don't forget their patio guests like some places do. The food is very good and works very well as togo food. I usually order during work and even if I don't get to it for a while it's well packaged and holds up. I love the Trash nachos and wings and Wontons especially. Good place for groups. read more

Came here for lunch on a MLK Day. The restaurant is located in an old building downtown that they renovated that has both a restaurant and a bar area. They have a pretty extensive menu to choose from. Our waitress recommended the burgers or the wings. My wife got 10 wings and I got the PBJ burger. The burger came with pimento cheese, bacon, and fried jalapeños. The menu says the burger is cooked medium well but I asked for medium. It came out perfectly cooked and juicy. The wings were smoked and then lightly fried. They were really good. Our waitress was great. We had a great dining experience. read more

The servers and hosts are patient, friendly and helpful. We had some of the best service with Amber our last visit and it seemed she had responsibility for the dining room and handled everything grace under fire- even with a noticeably large party that kept her moving among all of our tables. Management is keeping staff motivated or hiring quite well. Keep up the good work. Food- it is good food. Standard pub fare but elevated. Very well made salads and entrees. Lots of variety on the menu -including the wings and burgers. Come here for a casual meal for the WHOLE family. Your fine dining foodie friend may turn up his/her nose a little, but grandma, your picky little sister, your linebacker brother, vegetarian mom, carnivore cousin will ALL have options. If you have a crowd, this is a good choice. We have had the wings, burgers, salads, and appetizers. The bar has some local craft options and the good ol' domestics. There are cocktails and sodas for more options. Overall, good food done well and something for everyone. This is good for "what do we eat for lunch/dinner" and everyone is conflicted. This building smells just ... horrible, like musty, old, granny's attic smell. I was hoping the "buy 10, get 10 free wings Wednesday" aroma would waft into my nostrils and dilute the ancient aroma of the restaurant, but alas, it did not. Once I dove into my blackened chicken (perfectly seasoned, moist and tender texture!) I had enough fire in my face that I forgot about the odor. It's not the restaurant's fault that the building is old, but seriously, it smelled like a cardboard box full of 1960's yearbooks that had gotten damp and went forgotten in an attic. My daughter got the wings and while they were smallish, they made up for size in taste. Husband had gumbo (which oddly comes w/ a side of grilled cheese) and the gumbo portion was just teeny; a few slurps and it's gone. Our server was cheerful, smiley and attentive without being overbearing. I have never had a bad service at this location. Every time I've been I've never had to wait even when all the restaurants in winder have a 30 min wait. I have tried several things off their menu and have yet to be disappointed. The French fries are my favorite bc I love crispy fries. As for main dishes I love the buffalo chicken wrap and/or the club sandwich. It does get a little noisy here though. And sitting outside there is a lot of traffic noise...my only complaint which really isn't that bad of a complaint considering they are on a "main" road way for winder. Eli and his staff did any amazing job!!!! We had a party of about 65 people and we gave them about 3 hours notice for arrival on a Friday night. I wasn't expecting us to all be able to sit near each other but Eli and his staff pulled it off. Our rehearsal dinner pretty much took up the entire restaurant. We arrived and they were so helpful and patient with us. They started seating people as they should up. It went 1000 times better than I thought it would especially with that many people. The service was great and the food was delicious. There was not one complaint from one person in our party. We will definitely go back!!! Thank you again Eli and your staff. Met a friend for dinner and the food was just ok. When paying $10.99 for a wrap and fries I was expecting a little more food. The food tasted ok but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. They do offer siracha ketchup which was good. I had the philly wrap and my friend asked them to make her a shrimp wrap that is no longer on the menu. The shrimp wrap was good. My husband and I came out this evening for trivia and we sat at the bar. We sat at the bar because we normally get very good service. We each started with a beer and then I ordered a margarita. My husband on the other hand sat for nearly and hour without being asked if he wanted another beverage. A tall blonde bartender even took his glass without asking if he wanted anything else to drink. This is when my husband figured out that the water fountain does not work either. When we come to this location, we like to have beverages when we sit and eat and play trivia. Unfortunately that did not happen this evening. Very dissapointed. We tip based on how empty out glasses stay and tonight was a total fail. The bartenders were more interested in their friends sitting at the bar and their cell phones. I did speak the the manager about the situation. He apologized for the poor service and spoke to the lead bartender. It was ONLY then did anyone approach us and ask if we wanted anything else to drink. read more
