A subdued crowd, so it wasn't loud at all. Staff was attentive. Even got a visit from the manager at the end of the meal. A good spin on oysters rockefeller with this redneck version. Hushpuppies were crispy outside and soft on the inside, just like you want them. The ribeye was a underwhelming for the price. I also expected more spice from the BBQ shrimp. When something says jerk, I expected some more spice. The key lime pie lacked lunch as well, but I like some pucker in that dessert. Volcano cookie was pretty solid. Definitely will be back to try some other things.

Craving seafood living north of Winder I finally found this place and decided to go try it out…read more Nice, busy place, clean have everything from lobster rolls to the fish and chips, which is what we came here for. I got a four piece cod and this is the best fish I've had when I'm looking for a true British fish and chips. The potato chips were a little overcooked, but still great, french fries I brought home and just air fry them and brought them back to life so they were very good as well. I think the only odd thing not bad, but odd was the fried green tomatoes, which were almost like a pancake batter, which gave it a very sweet taste, which I was not expecting. I think I'm more of a savory fried green tomato, crunchy guy, but these had pickled onions, seemed to be cooked with love just didn't eat my taste buds but while presented. Ordered the crabcake sandwich in the jury is still out. Perhaps I was having fried food overload, but it didn't hit as well until I pulled it off. The patty added a little bit of old bay seasoning and this crab cake was quite tasty. How you adjust your meals is all up to you, but since I usually get things to go and bring them home, if there's something I want more I just add it no complaints because I thought this was a good value and great service. All in all, this was a very good place, oysters are priced insanely these days cause coming from South Georgia where I used to hit the beach for $.10 apiece for oysters. It's really hard to dive in the raw oysters which I love but not for two dollars apiece. I'm sure they're good but I'm gonna skip out and stick with sushi for my raw fish right now, and use this place for my fish and chips for sure! Clean, great service, outdoor seating, highly recommend.!!!!

The waiter was clearly in a poor mood and seemed frustrated to be there. After taking our order, our waiter did not come back to check on us again unless we specifically called his attention to us, which I finally did after almost thirty minutes. I asked how much longer our FIRST plate of the all you can eat deal would be out. The waiter disappeared again and left the empty cups without offering a refill. Five minutes later the food comes out, I had started with fried shrimp and my friend with garlic Parmesan boneless wings. The waiter asked "can I get you some extra napkins or extra silverware?" despite having not given us napkins or silverware to start with. We asked for silverware and he left, once again leaving empty cups. My first bite was met with a lukewarm breading and a patch of ice cold shrimp in the center. My friends garlic Parmesan wings had miraculously been replaced by buffalo. I tried another shrimp and found it to be just above room temperature. We both decided to eat what was in front of us due to having an hour drive home each and not wanting to wait another 30 minutes. The manager saw that we didn't appear satisfied and came by to tell us that she had discounted the meal to account for the issue. The manager and waiter both walked away, AGAIN leaving empty drink cups. Abandoning any hope of my waiter or the manager making the bare minimum effort to simply refill our drinks, I walked the empty cups to the bar to get my own refills. I asked for the check and the waiter brought it to me along with the correct wings for my friends order in a to-go box, which is the closest thing to customer service we got that night. I opened the check to find a $5 discount on our $41 ticket. I already had my card out but the waiter immediately walked away. Ten minutes later he returned with the receipts. I had to flag him down AGAIN to get a pen to sign the receipts. Ultimately, the staff at this location all appear frustrated and angry just being there, and it shows in their actions and their words. During our visit I overheard staff members half-heartedly apologize to every table around us, whether it be the wait time, cold food, or an order being wrong (I guess we just hit the trifecta). The service at this restaurant is non-existent, the quality is standards are lower than a RaceTrac pizza. If you are looking for a decent meal, go across the street to the QuikTrip gas station and see what you can find in the trash can. You'll get a better meal, and infinitely better service.

We sat down to a "Cajun night" menu to which I inquired if that's like a weekly thing or what and was explained that they will occasionally do various themes and recently had done Italian. They had Cajun music playing and a full Cajun menu, it felt like we were in Louisiana which I am very familiar with, I have roots there. I think having themed nights is a very clever way to bring a variety of fine dining options to a small town that doesn't have a lot of restaurant options. Fully support! Love the concept! Having had frog legs before I didn't feel the need to explore again so didn't choose those. I instead opted for some more cozy comforts such as the Crawfish étouffée and Duck Andouille Gumbo. Both were delicious, my only gripe would be the presentation was quite lacking. Traditionally, for either of those dishes, the rice is served from a cup as a topper, not the gumbo or étouffée spooned atop the rice. But the flavor hit it out of the park. Hubby ordered the Blackened Redfish and this is where the chef's talents shine. This was the winning dish of the evening. Hubby hates okra, I love it, and I'd never had it grilled before though and I'll be using that cooking technique in the future, especially since hubby actually likes okra finally. But I don't want to focus on okra for a fish dish. The blackened redfish was so well seasoned and perfectly flaky, the pinto beans had great flavor as well. We finished our meal out with the beignets and coffees (hubby espresso and me a latte) which paired perfectly with the beignets. We ate them politely with the fork and knife provided though if you ain't covered in powdered sugar or accidentally proofing powdered sugar across the table when you take a bite are you even doing it right? ;) but they were delicious, everything was. Again the only suggestion I have is to consider presentation. The dishes looked a bit bland for the amount of flavor they packed. A slice of that grilled okra on top of my Gumbo or just anything simple would've gone a long way. Overall I'll give 5 stars. I have no complaints.
