CRAP!! Running cheese dip, syrupy margaritas with NO alcohol! The Margarita is absolutely the worst margarita I think I've ever had, More like sweet kool-aid than a margarita. This place I think is one of the worst Mexican restaurants I've ever been to!!

Food was great. Just what I wanted but. The bell pepper were huge so were the shrimp. The drinks sneak up on you not sure why I ordered two. But it was cold. I'll be back when it warms up a little. Service was great our server was quick. The atmosphere was nice but cold on the inside it was a lot of families attending.

It looks kinda dead there but gave it a try. Food came out fast and tasted great! Price was nice also. Nice little gem!

But thank u anyway bc i saw how u make it and now I know how to make my own margaritas.

Be carefulwhen you go to drink at this restaurant, in addition to the fact that the bartender does not give you good service, he also wants to rob you. Look what he wanted to charge me for a $14 margarita, he wanted to charge me $70 thinking that I was drunk or stupid. cuidado cuando vallan a tomar en este restaurante, ademas que el bartender no te da un buen servicio tambien te quiere robar, miren lo que me queria cobrar por una margarita de $14 me queria cobrar $70 pensando que estaba borracho o pendejo.

Enchiladas verdes

The atmosphere could be better but the food is always delicious. The salsa is perfect with big chunks of onions and the cheese dip is the best around. I will caution you that the sides listed on the menu may vary from what they bring out so be specific when you order. I ordered the enchiladas verdes which is 3 enchiladas and rice on the menu but what I got was 5 enchiladas and no sides. I'm good with it so I ate my 3 enchiladas and took the rest home for the next day. But this isn't the first time my order has been different from the menu so make sure you let them know exactly what you want. All in all great food, friendly service and I eat here pretty regularly.

Hawaiian tacos

The Hawaiian tacos were ok.. felt like they burnt the steak. And didn't really give me Hawaiian vibes.. everything else was good! Can't wait to try new items though.

The people there are great. We were there with a group of unruly children. Ashamed to say they were with us and they were very kind.

A subdued crowd, so it wasn't loud at all. Staff was attentive. Even got a visit from the manager at the end of the meal. A good spin on oysters rockefeller with this redneck version. Hushpuppies were crispy outside and soft on the inside, just like you want them. The ribeye was a underwhelming for the price. I also expected more spice from the BBQ shrimp. When something says jerk, I expected some more spice. The key lime pie lacked lunch as well, but I like some pucker in that dessert. Volcano cookie was pretty solid. Definitely will be back to try some other things.

Craving seafood living north of Winder I finally found this place and decided to go try it out…read more Nice, busy place, clean have everything from lobster rolls to the fish and chips, which is what we came here for. I got a four piece cod and this is the best fish I've had when I'm looking for a true British fish and chips. The potato chips were a little overcooked, but still great, french fries I brought home and just air fry them and brought them back to life so they were very good as well. I think the only odd thing not bad, but odd was the fried green tomatoes, which were almost like a pancake batter, which gave it a very sweet taste, which I was not expecting. I think I'm more of a savory fried green tomato, crunchy guy, but these had pickled onions, seemed to be cooked with love just didn't eat my taste buds but while presented. Ordered the crabcake sandwich in the jury is still out. Perhaps I was having fried food overload, but it didn't hit as well until I pulled it off. The patty added a little bit of old bay seasoning and this crab cake was quite tasty. How you adjust your meals is all up to you, but since I usually get things to go and bring them home, if there's something I want more I just add it no complaints because I thought this was a good value and great service. All in all, this was a very good place, oysters are priced insanely these days cause coming from South Georgia where I used to hit the beach for $.10 apiece for oysters. It's really hard to dive in the raw oysters which I love but not for two dollars apiece. I'm sure they're good but I'm gonna skip out and stick with sushi for my raw fish right now, and use this place for my fish and chips for sure! Clean, great service, outdoor seating, highly recommend.!!!!

My first impression was not great as we waited 10 minutes just to put our name on the list for a table. The staff member who had "the list" was also taking phone orders, getting to-go meals from the back, and taking people's payments. My husband was not happy that the phone orders took priority over the people in the restaurant. We watched people leave and watched the tables get cleared. We and another couple wondered why we were not being seated as there were tables available. The lady seating customers was busy checking out several parties and looking for to-go orders. Finally, after waiting 30 minutes (apparently we got there at the busiest time) we were seated. We ordered and our food came out pretty quickly. We both got the Wednesday special of fried chicken. I looked at mine and thought it looked overcooked, then I looked at my husband's and his was BURNT. I am very surprised they plated and sent out a piece of chicken that looked like his did. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of his. My corn muffin was hard but I was able to eat part of it. We waited for our ticket to go to the register to pay, but it never came. Finally, we just went to the register to pay. The waitress never came back to check if we needed refills (this is important to my husband as he always needs refills on his water). Definitely could have gotten a better fried chicken meal for a lesser price elsewhere. Will not go back.

**One of the Best Restaurants in Winder!**…read more Bistro Off Broad is truly one of Winder's hidden gems. The food is consistently excellent, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The service is friendly and attentive, and you always feel welcomed from the moment you walk through the door. It's wonderful to have a restaurant of this quality right here in downtown Winder. If you're looking for **excellent food, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere**, Bistro Off Broad should definitely be on your list. **Highly recommended -- an easy 5 stars! We sat down to a "Cajun night" menu to which I inquired if that's like a weekly thing or what and was explained that they will occasionally do various themes and recently had done Italian. They had Cajun music playing and a full Cajun menu, it felt like we were in Louisiana which I am very familiar with, I have roots there. I think having themed nights is a very clever way to bring a variety of fine dining options to a small town that doesn't have a lot of restaurant options. Fully support! Love the concept! Having had frog legs before I didn't feel the need to explore again so didn't choose those. I instead opted for some more cozy comforts such as the Crawfish étouffée and Duck Andouille Gumbo. Both were delicious, my only gripe would be the presentation was quite lacking. Traditionally, for either of those dishes, the rice is served from a cup as a topper, not the gumbo or étouffée spooned atop the rice. But the flavor hit it out of the park. Hubby ordered the Blackened Redfish and this is where the chef's talents shine. This was the winning dish of the evening. Hubby hates okra, I love it, and I'd never had it grilled before though and I'll be using that cooking technique in the future, especially since hubby actually likes okra finally. But I don't want to focus on okra for a fish dish. The blackened redfish was so well seasoned and perfectly flaky, the pinto beans had great flavor as well. We finished our meal out with the beignets and coffees (hubby espresso and me a latte) which paired perfectly with the beignets. We ate them politely with the fork and knife provided though if you ain't covered in powdered sugar or accidentally proofing powdered sugar across the table when you take a bite are you even doing it right? ;) but they were delicious, everything was. Again the only suggestion I have is to consider presentation. The dishes looked a bit bland for the amount of flavor they packed. A slice of that grilled okra on top of my Gumbo or just anything simple would've gone a long way. Overall I'll give 5 stars. I have no complaints. The restaurant's vibe and decor are great, service was great, food was delicious. We had a great night!
