I really want to like this place, but my experience with the drive-thru has been consistently frustrating. This is the second time I've come through the drive-thru and my order has been completely wrong. Items are either missing, rung up incorrectly, or I'm handed an entirely different order. Each time, I've had to stop and check every single item before leaving because there's no confidence that the order is accurate. As a customer using the drive-thru for convenience, this defeats the purpose. It turns what should be a quick stop into a stressful process of double-checking everything before pulling away. I hope the team can improve their order accuracy because the repeated mistakes make it difficult to rely on this location. read more

I'm surprised I haven't rated Speedy Burrito yet but it's my hubby's "favorite restaurant in Winder" so that is quite honorary in itself. We are regulars through delivery and their drive thru and they live up to their name. They are always super speedy and the food is always stellar. It's hot, fresh, and oh so tasty! We've dined in a few times as well. The restaurant is clean and well kept. The staff is great! I love the salsa bar and the way they have their drinks set up. If you haven't tried Jamaica (hibiscus tea) I highly recommend. Also their horchata is delicious, my fav that I've ever tried. We've had everything from carne asada and the pastor in varying ways (burrito, torta, etc), to chilaquiles, to the chicken soup. Everything is always delicious. If you're in Winder check them out. There may be a line but they will get to you quickly and it's worth it. read more

Decided to go in because the line was too long and it takes longer so I go in. Nobody else is in there. I wait they finally came. I placed my order. I looked out the door 20 minutes later. This is a small place in a gas station parking lot that is always packed so stopped now a couple times and what great food!! My son recommended saying they had the real deal street tacos and queso and they do! The carne asada tacos are fantastic and cheap. Order at the front, these, or the chile relleno are quite authentic and delicious!! Ordering is easy, food is fast, chips and salsa are plentiful, queso dip is great! We've been coming to speedys for a longg time now and have noticed that the quality has gradually been getting worse. I hate to be that person but I was really over it tonight. My husband has always ordered the super nachos. With lettuce is $12+. Every time we order it, and that's every time we stop by, it looks worse and worse, and less and less. They used to serve it in an actual flat to go box. The first time we received it in a to go box with dividers I thought it was a mistake. We quickly realized it wasn't when we kept getting the nachos in the latter to go box but they clearly had the flat. Inflation, I get it. The dividers take up space so it makes it look like you're getting more than what you're getting and that's already hardly any. But how are y'all charging more for way less? Ordered three kids meals, no usual little jello. Did they stop doing this again? We got them last month.. This inconsistency has been going on for years and the reason why we've slowed down stopping by speedys. There are way too many Mexican food establishments in winder. Granted their customer service is still mostly friendly and one of the reasons they are even considered but after tonight it'll be a long time again before we do. read more

Have been coming to this location for over 5 years. Called and asked if they have menudo, explained that I was almost an hour away. Showed up 35min in, for them to tell me "we're out". Very unusual customer service by Speedy Burrito. Never thought I would give them 1 star. Wasted my time, hope owner sees this. I've been spending over $100/week eating here, not anymore. Their drive-through is definitely not fast, but it is so worth it! Expect to be sitting there for at least 20 minutes lol. The beef tongue tacos are divine, I would wait for two hours for those. read more

This is the best authentic Mexican around. It doesn't look like much from the outside adjacent to a gas station, but the inside is cozy and inviting and the drive through quick and friendly. First experience here a few years ago was not as great... But man am I glad we gave it a second chance! We were in the mood for something quick but still good, and remembered that the food was good the first time we came, bit that the food took forever... This time it was both delicious and fast! What we had: Steak burrito and a chicken burrito... The steak was so much better than the chicken! - chicken was still really good, but the steak was just... So flavorful and yummy! I've tried their burritos, both carnitas and carne asada. Both are good, but the carne asada is my favorite of the two.

I always use drive through. Polite staff, fast service, authentic Mexican, fresh ingredients, reasonable prices. Love it.

Heard good things about this place. Drove 45 minutes to try it. So glad I did! Such an amazing Burrito, Chips and Tacos. CHURROS! Friendly staff. Wasn't sure what to expect coming in here. It's located next to a gas station. The prices in the restaurant do not reflect what's on their website. The prices have increased dramatically....which is fine. But just a fair warning! This is like a fast food Mexican restaurant. You order at the register. They deliver the food to your table if you're dining in (kind of like Chick-fil-A). The food was so good. I ordered too much and ate too much. Definitely coming back to try a burrito. read more

Probably my favorite Mexican spot in the barrow county area. Food is pretty consistent and it's always rich with flavor. Sometimes can be a little heavy on the salt but that's okay. Ideally a Mexican spot that isn't Taco Bell having a drive thru is pretty great. Also, for the quality of food they have and the convenience to order is nice. read more

I was actually obsessed with this place at one point. I have definitely calmed down but I've never had a bad taco or meal here. Staff are always nice never rude. My kids love the mini quesadillas.
