Clean Up!!!! I walked in and walked back out. This was my first time at a Barberitos and it will definitely be my last time at this location. I Asked for two tacos and decided against it after noticing a big clump of rice she was trying to smooth out to put in my taco, which made me start to look around a little bit and saw how nasty and messy the food bar was, the window had food splatters all over it and food was everywhere. tried this spot out today while normally i go to the monroe location (lovee btw). the crew was just all over the place, making onlines as making my order, kept leaving my food to the side while trying to attend to something else, felt as i was being rushed when adding my toppings and didn't seem like they were working together but solo! chips could've been fried a bit longer.. read more

Food is somewhat okay, but they very frequently end up getting orders wrong, which is not okay when you have items like ghost pepper salsa on the menu. The restaurant is very frequently messy, appearing to only be cleaned once per day. Small and medium sized orders take forever to finish, and the restaurant appears to be very understaffed. It appears that they frequently undercook or microwave menu items, as my rice is almost always semi-hard when I order for takeout. Burritos are small and expensive. They often short you on ingredients. Overall, I don't think I'm eating at a barbaritos again, I'd rather drive 20 miles for Chipotle. read more

I like this place for the most part, I've gone 20+ times and 14/20 have been decent. There is inconsistency in the protein choices that are sometimes very dry, rice comes out overcooked at times. Pico de gallo is always mushy. But there are times when the meat is juicy and the cold toppings are fresh and it's pretty good. It's always a toss up. Service is a hit or miss. This is my go to for an awesome Taco Salad. I love that you can completely customize everything in it they do not offer ground beef sadly and the chicken can be very tough to chew at times. But overall they are great. I would eat there more often if they add ground beef. Oh and fried icecream lol read more

The food is good, typical burrito place. This location always a mess though. The place is trashed and half the time the employees disappear to the back when you need something. I came in and stood around one afternoon and no one ever came out from the back so I had Chick-fil-A instead. Tonight there are no cups at the salsa bar and the floor is covered in salsa. read more

Dirty. Staffed by teenage boys with no idea of cleanliness. Looked as if they had had a food fight. Prices are too high for what you get.

Food is pretty good and reasonably priced. Healthy. But every table is dirty. Not one is wiped off. Ten tables and all dirty. Really need to take care of that. read more

Normally, I love this little spot! It's a go to for some quick tacos & chips/salsa. I came in with my sister - maybe I caught them on "the off day" Things started "off" b/c we weren't even greeted when we came in. Then we get up to the station where you actually place your order & NO "hey how can I help you or what would you ladies like today". It was just the clerk staring @ me & my sis. She says something 2 him & EVENTUALLY he snaps back to reality. It was like everyone was working in slow motion & the store was NOT busy. After placing our order same thing from the cashier the lady is just staring when we get down there - my sister says something asking her if she's "gonna ring us up?..." Second time I've called in an order and it was wrong. Someone else picked it up for me so didn't know till I got it. Yesterday I called in an order for a burrito bowl with ground beef and other toppings. I agreed to pay more for guacamole. When reading my order back to me, the employee forgot the ground beef so I reminded her of that. She repeated it back to me. When I got my order, it said ground turkey. But, there was no ground beef and no ground turkey in the bowl. I finally found one small bit of guacamole. The bowl also had tomatoes and onions, which I had not requested. Love this place, food tastes better than Moe's or Chipotle in my opinion. They also aren't skimpy with their toppings like the other places and the cheese is so good and fresh. I like how you can get the nachos toasted in the oven to melt the cheese verses the queso dip. I was very excited to see a Barberitos location close to me. I remember eating at the very first one in Athens while in college.
