I was in Winder and had heard about the pimento cheese burger so I dashed in to grab one cause I had also read. They only take cash and I had a $20 bill. This is a short review because I didn't take my phone with me or take a picture of the food, but this was a great burger!!! small place, family run, great flavors. This was a great go to burger when I come back with the kids compared to other burgers nearby. Juicy, tasty, fries were hot just exactly what I needed! Casey's is one of the community pillars of winder. It's been here for as long as I can remember. They genuinely have a heart to love on the community as best as they can through their business. The owner is nice and welcoming. The ambiance is old school and homey. It's a must staple in winder. The food is home cook prepped and pretty good for the price. Can't beat it! The burgers are very good, as are the hotdogs. The condiments are located at the front of the restaurant and include all the fixings: onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, jalapeños, mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup, and hot sauces. The fries are tiny cut potatoes that are also very tasty. The prices are inline with other non-chain sandwich shops. The service is quick and friendly. The environment is casual and relaxed and the decor is a mixture of classic signs and a wall where one can write with chalk provided by the owners. A great place for a quick bite. read more

We were finally able to take advantage of dinner at Casey's! Trunk or treat - downtown was closed and it was a recipe for disaster. Possibly not the best plan for us to visit for the first time. I would honestly rate as ONE STAR, but I give the owners credit for being a local, long standing, family owned business - I want them to be successful, but they need to improve! The price point would expect good food or a large portion to compensate for the AVERAGE food - you dont get either! The portions are small and the burgers are overcooked, lack flavor, and sloppy. This restaurant is located in downtown Winder. We came around 1 PM and could not find parking in front of the store or the parking lot next to the restaurant. We circled around for a bit until a car left and we parallel parked. This is truly a hole in the wall restaurant. Very old building, the sign in the front is missing, and they did not accept cards of any kind. They do accept cash, venmo, apple pay or cashapp. They have specialty burgers, but with no description of what exactly goes the burger. I ordered the Hells Burger, not knowing was go on it. Looking back, I wish I would have asked the cashier what all came on the burger. The cashier looked to be a teenager. She wasn't friendly or rude. She lacked basic customer service and didn't smile. Our food came out fast and we took it to go. By the time we go home, the fries were so soggy. The burger was "meh." Not impressed at all. People rave that this place has the best burgers in town, but honestly my burger at Wendy's the other day had more flavor than the Hells Burger. It's honestly a glorified greasy burger. This place wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't come out of my way to dine in again. read more

I know the owner of this restaurant so even though it is a little far for me to drive for lunch I wanted to try it. It is a very nice little cafe in downtown Winder and has a nice selection of lunch fare. The service is personal and friendly. The food is very good especially the chicken salad. It can get crowded fast around the lunch hour as it is fairly small but they get food ready quickly but you don't feel rushed. Great place for lunch fare or light dinner. read more

Everyone in Winder is there because it's easy, friendly and the best burger and Philly Cheese steak in Winder, my opinion! Love it! Clean, awesome service! My first visit I went to pay with my debit card and (at that time) they only took cash. Mr Humble told me I could pay another time! I couldn't believe it, I mean he didn't know me! Trust me when I say I couldn't get back fast enough the next day with cash to give him! What an awesome guy! I will keep going back as long as he's open and I pray that a long time from now! Love the food and owners! The restaurant is where old Hardegree's used to be, but you want believe it's the same place! It completely transformed with room for most of Winder during lunch!
