Great burgers and fries, historic building. Chris, the owner gave us a thorough introduction to his fresh, homemade, never frozen menu. He and his wife and staff are amazing! My friend had the bourbon bacon bleu cheese burger and I had the pimiento cheese bacon burger. Housemade everything, beef never frozen and cooked on a flat top. We had the fresh housemade fries with complimentary Hell or bbq sauce on the side, housemade fresh lemonade. Chris gave us samples of the fresh smoked chicken salad too - yum. Two dogs, one French fry, $9. This place seems popular, but the prices are a bit high for what you get. Two small dogs, artificial casing, one with some meh chili, and lacklustre buns. Hand cut fries were the star of the show. Hunts brand catsup did not complement the fries well. Must be laughing all the way to the bank. Not worth a revisit. Should have been a bigger natural casing dog for the money. Meh. read more

Best American food dive I've ever been to! I got the steak and cheese with peppers and mushrooms and it was real steak hot and melty in the most amazing roll. Being that we went right after the new year (diets....ugh!), I was not planning on eating any fries; but, I made the mistake of trying them. Wow!!!!!! The best fries I've ever had! Just ate a great lunch at Casey's. The smoked chicken salad sandwich was just as all the other reviews had commented on. The moisture and smokey flavor were right on. Also the hamburger had a great flavor, it comes plain and there is a toppings bar so you can fix your own. Onion rings taste fresh cut with a ranch sauce to dip them in. Oh and also don't forget to get the lemonade, it is to die for. The last time I remember this kind of lemonade was in Savannah. The owner very friendly knowing everyone that came in. Told him this was my first time here, he was very helpful with menu, let me sample the gumbo. I know that I will be back, just need to remember open 11am-2pm. read more

Wow! Went there for the first time today. Cheap food, $2 hot dogs. Great service! I bought two dogs, plus one I was able to customize as a Philly cheesesteak hot dog. $8 total, unfortunately they said they only take cash or card but they said (maybe because it was my first time) it was on the house! Awesome place! Hot dogs are excellent, they have other food as well but I needed those to take home and watch our first place Braves play the day game. Yummmmmmm!!! I was a little hesitant to try Casey's since I work in the area and hadn't heard of them but I'm so glad I gave them a shot! It's a cute little place, very unexpected and simple but delicious! You order your food and then they have a little topping bar. I went there back to back a couple of days ago and I didn't wait more than 5 minutes for my order. The burgers are great and the fries are fresh cut awesomeness! The people are so nice...all in all it's a must try!! read more

It's rare that you find an establishment that achieves perfection but Casey's comes extremely close as it offers everything you could possibly want in a lunch spot. The food is phenomenal, the service is excellent and the prices are fair. They're only open 11-2 but if you work in Winder you're cheating yourself if you're not eating lunch here. As always Hell's half pounder was perfect! I'm not familiar with how yelp check in offers work but I was embarrassed by yelp when I showed the owner my check in offer for free sweet tea with meal and he said they didn't offer coupons and didn't know anything about it. How can yelp offer a free product at a business without their permission?! He was good about it and gave me the free tea though. Props to him! read more

Who would have thought that this tiny hole in the wall joint in Winder, GA would be one of the best dining experiences we've had in a while? The owners are wonderful, down to earth people who truly enjoy serving the community. The menu is small, but what they do serve is just awesome. All fresh, home-cooked, family-owned, friendly, and local. I had the pimiento bacon burger, and it was delicious and perfectly cooked. I have heard that the smoked chicken salad is amazing. This place was awesome! I went in with my family this past weekend and loved it. I had the Habenero Burger. It had a ton of flavor and just the right amount of heat. I saw 'Habenero' and was nervous that it was one of those TV burgers the host couldn't finish because it was too hot - not in this case. We ordered both deserts and they were great too. The owners were super friendly too. It's as if we were all old friends when we walked in. Definitely stop in here if you're close to Winder or making that drive down 316 between Atlanta and Athens. Amazing.. ..where do I start...we are new to the area and just happened to walk by this little place. The customer service was the top of the line. The owner home took our order treated us as you would an old friend. Not only was he polite and efficient he took the time to give a sample of some of the food that we didn't order (and I discovered I will be getting the chicken salad next time) and even told us all about the area, things to do with our family, things that were around our neighborhood etc. If that wasn't enough the food was outstanding. I ordered a smoked sausage, which he smokes himself, and it was probably the best smoked sausage I've ever had. My fiancé had a cheeseburger with all kinds of stuff on it and he as well said it was the best burger he has ever had. I can't say enough good things about this place. read more

Love Casey's and love the owners. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I like the hells halfpounder burger but beware, it is spicy! Homemade habenero bbq sauce and a whole grilled Jalepeno on top! But you can't go wrong with any burger you get here! Chicken salad sandwich is great as well. It has a nice smokey flavor.
