Came here with a group of 11 ladies and we were seated at a table in the bar. We were celebrating a birthday. The waitress was good dealing with 11 older ladies. Well the food, I was her 4/5 times in the last 4 years. They were very inconsistent and that sucks if you can't depend on what you're getting. The food took a bit but the food was better than I had remembered. Service was understandable, it was very crowded.

This is an amazinggg restaurant! The ambiance is amazing. Perfect for date night or a special occasion. Our server also gave us a detailed overview of the menu which was helpful since it was our first time. The drink menu is expansive. We split the Delmonico and it was wonderful. We had oysters, southwestern creamed corn and the truffle fries. We did not have a single bad dish. This is the kind of restaurant that makes you keep coming back because you want to try everything!

My first time dining here for a work dinner and presentation. This is such a hidden upscale gem in downtown Braselton. The decor was very nice. We had a private event fixed menu with filet , salmon, and chicken options. The steak was perfectly cooked along with the salmon that I had a taste of. Our servers were excellent in timing of our food. All the appetizers were tasty and the drinks as well. There are 2 private event dining areas. We had the front of the house area which was perfect for up to 30 people. I would definitely return on my own and recommend to give this a try if you want to get a way from the hustle and bustle. Packed house so make a reservation.

The ambiance at the Cotton Calf is very sleek , modern and beautiful. With the kitchen being centered right in the middle surrounded by glass for onlookers to see all the action!! Very cool!! Service was par and solid and on point. The food was highly recommended to us by neighbors and friends, it is the best known restaurant on the high end$$$ in downtown located in Hoschton GA. The Filet mignon steak was full of flavor and delightful! As well as the "twice baked" sweet potato which was covered in cinnamon, butter and bacon. Mmmmm The asparagus was a little bit on the mushy side, but definitely had good flavor and the lamb chops looked and seemed to be absolutely elegant and delicious but slightly charred a bit too much for our taste. That seems to be the theme of this restaurant with the little extra char and love that is put into their cooking . I would recommend trying this place if you're in the area and looking for a special event and or special night out with your loved one. Highly recommend making reservations as walk-ins are very slim . Enjoy

Perfect spot for a special occasion or celebration. Came here for a birthday dinner and it exceeded all my expectations. The filet was wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. The side dishes and drinks were excellent. As you would expect, the service was top tier and perfect for a special occasion. We had dessert given the occasion, which is rare for us, and it was out of this world. The ambiance in the restaurant is relaxing and very conducive for a nice night out with friends or for a date. The prices do match the high quality of the food and the experience, but it's certainly worth it if you're prepared and have proper expectations.

Every year's wedding anniversary has a 'theme'; year two is Cotton. So, my punny husband made reservations for us at the Cotton Calf Kitchen for our cotton anniversary. It was incredible. Nicole is very friendly and knowledgeable, it's obvious she takes great pride in her work and making sure every guest has a great experience. We had the oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. They were the perfect temperature and the ingredients were balanced perfectly (garlic, cheese, spinach, and prosciutto complemented each other splendidly). For main courses, my husband had the Wagyu hanger steak and I had the lamb rack. Both were just *chef's kiss*. The lamb in particular was amazing. Perfectly cooked, and the sauce was just heavenly. My husband even dipped a few pieces of his steak in it! I will say (and this is a nit pick only because of how pricey it is and I know many of us are careful with our budgets), if you're deciding between the steak or another main (like lamb or sea bass, etc) and you prefer a more medium or under steak I'd advise going with the lamb or seafood. We've been here before (and had the filet and ribeye, in addition to the hanger this time) and the steaks both times had a few places where the outside was charred beyond chewable (and the steak was medium rare). Again, that is just a nit pick because of the price of the steak. Because it was our anniversary, a complimentary crème brûlée cheesecake was brought out to us with "happy anniversary" written on it. A very sweet and nice touch. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for a great wedding anniversary

Ugh, I had been wanting to check this out for years. I really wanted to like it. Hubby and I decided to try it out for our anniversary dinner. Ambiance...lovely. Seating in some areas is a wee bit tight but overall I liked the vibe. I loved the open kitchen you could see into and there were a few booth seats right in front of the expo area. Service...great. Server was really nice. Manager stopped by to see how our meal was. Our leftovers were boxed properly and everything was timely. Food...ehh. It just wasn't great! Honestly wasn't even that good at all. It lacked flavor and for the price point...I mean c'mon. We ordered the Delmonico ribeye and the Cajun ribeye. Split a chopped salad and also got the brussel sprouts. I didn't finish any of it...and even though I got my leftovers boxed to go...I never ate it. It's sad but honestly I would have preferred a steak from Longhorn My hubby did eat all of his steak, but he doesn't believe in things going to waste. He said it was an average steak, but he did really enjoy the brussel sprouts. Perhaps I'd give it another go. But not if I was footing the bill. I won't make that mistake again.

Our anniversary comp.... So darn good! Possibly a mousse and chocolate cake...

Unfortunately though they had upcoming reservations so we weren't able to sit in the main room. We sat in their second dining room which was off to the side but still decorated. Our service was still good and the waiter was very attentive. For apps, we got the She Crab soup. I would've preferred for the crab meat to be sprinkled on top vs. in the soup but nonetheless it was still delicious. Super fresh!! Omg. I even contemplated on switching my entree to the stuffed grouper to get some more crab meat. I ended up getting the Shrimp scampi which was a great choice. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint with the shrimp. 6 jumbo pieces. Omg. The entree was done pretty well and it was just the right portion size. If we had more time, I would've ordered their toffee bread pudding or the honey crème brulee but that's all the more reason to come back. Oh and order the It was all a dream cocktail. We skipped appetizers because we like to live dangerously. Seafood Pasta: This dish came with so much seafood I started checking for a Coast Guard warning. Mussels, clams, shrimp, lobster, basically an entire cast of Finding Nemo. Flavor was incredible. I just needed a few more noodles to keep the peace between carbs and protein. 1855 Prime Filet & Brussels Sprouts: Let's talk onions. Some restaurants give you three sad little onion scraps like they're being rationed. Marc said, "No, no take ALL the onions." Do you see the picture of the Brussel sprouts? We'll look at the top of the photo.... Under that glorious pile was a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak. No photo because my husband attacked it like it was the last steak on Earth. Crème Brûlée: It was good. I'm not here to slander dessert. We respect crème brûlée in this household. Will we return? Absolutely. Just know this is a "go big or go home" date night. My uncle is currently in the ICU at a nearby hospital, and my aunt has basically been running on fumes and hospital coffee. We convinced her to step away for a bit, get a real meal, and sit with family without the constant beeping of machines in the background. Close enough to feel comfortable, but just far enough to breathe. Enter LongHorn on a Saturday night, which apparently doubled as prom headquarters. The place was packed with teenagers in suits and dresses looking like they just discovered cologne for the first time. The wait was about 45 minutes, but honestly it worked in our favor. It gave us time to sit, talk, and let my aunt decompress a little. By the time our table was ready, she looked like a human again instead of someone running on pure adrenaline. Once seated, the food did not disappoint. The complimentary bread showed up warm and dangerous because you know you are about to ruin your appetite but you do it anyway. The fried onion starter disappeared faster than prom dates after curfew. We had a full spread of steak, shrimp, and chicken and everything hit exactly the way it needed to. No complaints, no notes, just solid, comforting food done right. Our waiter was attentive without hovering, which is a rare skill. Drinks stayed filled, food came out on point, and we never had to flag anyone down. The restaurant had a lively energy, but somehow it never felt overwhelming. For a couple of hours, we were able to laugh, eat well, and give my aunt a break from a really heavy situation. That alone makes this place worth five stars. The great food and service just sealed it. LongHorn delivered more than a meal tonight. It gave us a moment we really needed.

I called the restaurant shortly after and an employee confirmed they had found them and were holding them for me. I told them I would come in that day to pick them up. I was delayed and arrived the next day -- only to be told the sunglasses were now missing. No one, including the manager on duty, had any explanation for how they suddenly disappeared after being confirmed safe the day before. They offered zero accountability and basically shrugged it off. They said they would "look into it" and get back to me. That never happened. I followed up with a voicemail expecting at least basic professionalism and customer service from a national chain like LongHorn. Still nothing. No call back, no apology, no offer to make it right. It's painfully obvious that one of their employees helped themselves to my property and management simply doesn't care. For a place that charges premium prices for steak, you'd think they could manage basic honesty and responsibility for items left behind. Instead they've shown complete disregard for their customers. If you care about your personal property, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This location has lost all my trust and I will never be back. Consider this your warning.
