My hubby and I eat here about once or twice every other month for late lunch or early dinners, often on weekends. I'm not sure if they don't offer the complimentary rolls anymore but last 4 visits they did not offer. Once they just did not offer so I figured they weren't doing it anymore. The next time they did not offer but I saw other tables had gotten rolls so I asked and we got a basket of rolls for us. The next time after that they didn't offer so I asked and the server flat out told me they didn't have any. We went there on this past Tuesday for lunch and of course I asked for some rolls and one of the servers said he will check in the back and came back stating weren't doing rolls that hour lol. I wish this restaurant was more consistent how they run their business.

We were visiting in the area and decided to stop in on a family member's recommendation. The service was excellent. We had the fried calamari to start and came with fried green peppers as well. I am not a fan of calamari so I didn't try that but the green peppers were excellent. The coating had a little spice to it and was delicious as was the dipping sauce. The shrimp tacos were great but the flounder tacos were amazing. A huge piece of fish on each taco. Really tasty! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun decor and lots of room makes this an easy stop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Friday night date night dinner and it was ok. Coconut shrimp was good and grouper imperial was o. Wife had Mahi tacos and shared it was good. Service was decent.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Large place with lots of seating indoor & on patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Drive to the beach cocktail is great (and not pricey like most places). The shrimp was a little salty but the rest of the seafood was fresh and good. The homemade chips were excellent and crunchy

Came in on July 4th and had the pleasure of having Garrett as our server. He took great care of us and recommended some really good choices. Fried blue crab claws and spicy Cajun pasta were our favorites. Oysters were fresh and didn't have a funky taste. Overall, would come by here again.

The fish tacos with Broccoli side. Both excellent choices!

So it's a seafood place North of Atlanta, but I was pleasantly surprised. Appears very new and clean, easy to access. Our server was quite friendly and helpful. I ordered the Fish Tacos, with the steamed Broccoli as my side. The Broccoli was really good! The tacos were also very good, fish was nicely cooked and served well.

It's by far the best! The two owners, Nick and Alison, are the reason for this. They have incredibly high standards and that's reflected in every dish - from the ingredients to the presentation. Every time, we get appetizers, entrees, and dessert (because it's all so delicious), and their cocktail menu just keeps getting better and better. It's been solid since our first visit, but over the past year they tripled the size and elevated the menu so much we think Antebellum now rivals the best cocktail spots in Atlanta! If you live in the area and haven't yet been, or if you're visiting, make a reservation - and be sure to order appetizers, mains, and dessert (and of course cocktails). There's no need to overthink what you order. Every dish and cocktail they serve is exceptional.

We ended up with a table that comfortably could seat 8, we squeezed in 12. We had another table for the kids. They were a table of 6 a few feet away. Again it was only a table for 4. But kids don't care much about that. The food was barely ok. However, I personally liked someone else's deep fried Cod & onion straws. They weren't very hungry & im glad they shared. On my bill was myself & 1 other person. We split the Steak Salad & a plate of Beef Nachos for the table. The dressing was fine, the rest was not good. Ordered the steak rare. Steak was med well, tuff, chewy & grisly. If it was tasty I would have only bothered to complain about it only having 2 1/2oz - 3oz of steak. Yeesh!!!!! I was told by 5 people the alcoholic beverages were tasty. I had ice water & I don't remember but I think I also had sweet tea. Other folks ordered appetizers for both tables. They probably should have warned me when I called for a reservation they would be having Song Bingo. All the gal did say was that "we don't take reservations, but they took call-ins". Umm, that's pretty close to a reservation to all of us. Anyway, good luck dinning there. The server was trying hard, I give her kudos. Thank you Miss Shae. Well that's my story.

Pelican Pete's being on the water and making it easy to dock your boat and come on up is suuuper convenient. Who wants to pack a lunch and make room in the cooler? Nobody. That definitely means this place gets busy though. So prepare yourself for possibly a long wait. Some friends and I visited Saturday afternoon. We put our names in for our group (10 of us) and had a wait of an hour. Not horrible. We took a bathroom break and hung out at the boat until it was our time. Pro- the bathroom was surprisingly clean! Con- only 3 stalls so there was a significant line. When we sat down we had to wait a bit to get our orders taken which was a little annoying but there were lots of people there so I'm sure our server was swamped. She was friendly. The food was pretty good! I liked the dock burger that I got. I loved the sauce they put on it, paired really well with the carmelized onions. Fries were awesome! And I loved the Lava Flow drink as well. The way they brought out our food was not the greatest. They had a food runner bringing the plates out and asking the whole table "who ordered the _____" and some of us ordered the same thing without an ingredient so that was a lot of fun for a table of 10. Why not hire more servers and have them bring the food to their own tables? Much better idea especially for larger groups where they know who ordered what. Prices are a little high, especially for things like fish & chips. $24? Kinda weird. Not sure why a burger is $6 less than simple fried fish. Anyway. I know it's on the water and there are costs involved in that, so I won't harp on it too much. I'd happily come back because I enjoyed the food and love how easy it is to come up to it off the water. But it would be really nice if they had more bathrooms and knew who ordered what when they ran food. Oh and if they lowered the price of the seafood.

Crossroads Bar & Grille in Flowery Branch just nailed two lunch classics better than most places…read moreI've tried--the Cuban and the Reuben are absolute winners. Stopped in at 5900 Spout Springs Rd for a casual lunch and left seriously impressed. These sandwiches aren't just thrown together; they're loaded and executed perfectly. The Cuban (marinated pork loin, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, spicy mustard, and pickles on a toasted hoagie roll) was a flavor bomb. Look at that cross-section--juicy, tender pork layered thick with ham, melty cheese, and that perfect pickle crunch cutting through the mustard kick. The bread toasted up golden and held everything together without getting soggy. Paired it with fries and a side of ketchup, and it felt like something straight out of a great Cuban spot. Huge portions that actually satisfy. The Classic Reuben on toasted marbled rye was equally stacked: thinly sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and 1000 Island dressing. The bread had that ideal crisp exterior with a soft bite, and the fillings were generous and well-balanced--no dry bites here. Came with crispy fries and a side of creamy sauce that tied it all together beautifully. Service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere is that perfect relaxed neighborhood vibe (great for watching a game or just catching up), and the prices are fair for the quality and size you get. In a world full of average bar sandwiches, Crossroads delivers the real deal with fresh ingredients and obvious care. Whether you're craving the tangy, savory Reuben or the bright, porky Cuban, both hit the spot hard. I'll definitely be back. If you're in Flowery Branch, do not sleep on these sandwiches. Highly recommend--5 stars.

Not many restaurants manage to combine the charm of a…read morehospital cafeteria with the personal touch of having the waitress complain about the customers directly to them, but this place pulls it off beautifully. Our server seemed to feel we were an inconvenience simply for existing, which added a refreshing level of tension to the meal. It's not every day you get the unique opportunity to listen to your waitress gripe about you while she's still serving your table. Customer engagement at its finest. The food was equally impressive. The shrimp arrived thoughtfully pre-chilled -- perhaps to keep things exciting for the digestive system. Within minutes it gave me a stomach ache, which I assume was the chef's creative interpretation of "interactive dining." My brother ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which had such a powerful effect that he ended up throwing up shortly afterward. It's rare to see food provoke such a strong physical response, so clearly the kitchen knows how to make an impression. Overall, if you've ever wondered what it would be like to combine cafeteria-level cuisine with openly hostile service and a dash of gastrointestinal adventure, this is absolutely the place to go. Truly unforgettable.
