We were visiting in the area and decided to stop in on a family member's recommendation. The service was excellent. We had the fried calamari to start and came with fried green peppers as well. I am not a fan of calamari so I didn't try that but the green peppers were excellent. The coating had a little spice to it and was delicious as was the dipping sauce. The shrimp tacos were great but the flounder tacos were amazing. A huge piece of fish on each taco. Really tasty! Fun decor and lots of room makes this an easy stop!

Large place with lots of seating indoor & on patio. The Drive to the beach cocktail is great (and not pricey like most places). The shrimp was a little salty but the rest of the seafood was fresh and good. The homemade chips were excellent and crunchy

Cool vibe of being on the vacation and close to lake Lanier. Lunch prices, good size portions delicious food! Abby was an attentive waitress and very mice. Drinks are refreshing!

Much better this time. We came back to town for a visit to meet up with some friends amd ended up here. Parking was better on a saturday night at 6:00 PM. The hostess seated us quickly and our waitress was friendly. Both service and food were good. We enjoyed the evening. I had the grouper tacos and she had the ahi tuna. Both were tasty, hot and seasoned well.

Came in on July 4th and had the pleasure of having Garrett as our server. He took great care of us and recommended some really good choices. Fried blue crab claws and spicy Cajun pasta were our favorites. Oysters were fresh and didn't have a funky taste. Overall, would come by here again.

So it's a seafood place North of Atlanta, but I was pleasantly surprised. Appears very new and clean, easy to access. Our server was quite friendly and helpful. I ordered the Fish Tacos, with the steamed Broccoli as my side. The Broccoli was really good! The tacos were also very good, fish was nicely cooked and served well.

The food was delicious and the service was absolutely superb. The dinner rolls melt in your mouth. I definitely look forward to visiting again!

Quality has definitely gone down in the last 6 months. Take us back 5 years ago when it was great.

Good is great. I recommend the seafood bake. It has scallops, shrimp and a blend of cheese and cream baked in the oven.

Pelican Pete's being on the water and making it easy to dock your boat and come on up is suuuper convenient. Who wants to pack a lunch and make room in the cooler? Nobody. That definitely means this place gets busy though. So prepare yourself for possibly a long wait. Some friends and I visited Saturday afternoon. We put our names in for our group (10 of us) and had a wait of an hour. Not horrible. We took a bathroom break and hung out at the boat until it was our time. Pro- the bathroom was surprisingly clean! Con- only 3 stalls so there was a significant line. When we sat down we had to wait a bit to get our orders taken which was a little annoying but there were lots of people there so I'm sure our server was swamped. She was friendly. The food was pretty good! I liked the dock burger that I got. I loved the sauce they put on it, paired really well with the carmelized onions. Fries were awesome! And I loved the Lava Flow drink as well. The way they brought out our food was not the greatest. They had a food runner bringing the plates out and asking the whole table "who ordered the _____" and some of us ordered the same thing without an ingredient so that was a lot of fun for a table of 10. Why not hire more servers and have them bring the food to their own tables? Much better idea especially for larger groups where they know who ordered what. Prices are a little high, especially for things like fish & chips. $24? Kinda weird. Not sure why a burger is $6 less than simple fried fish. Anyway. I know it's on the water and there are costs involved in that, so I won't harp on it too much. I'd happily come back because I enjoyed the food and love how easy it is to come up to it off the water. But it would be really nice if they had more bathrooms and knew who ordered what when they ran food. Oh and if they lowered the price of the seafood.

Crossroads Bar & Grille in Flowery Branch just nailed two lunch classics better than most places…read moreI've tried--the Cuban and the Reuben are absolute winners. Stopped in at 5900 Spout Springs Rd for a casual lunch and left seriously impressed. These sandwiches aren't just thrown together; they're loaded and executed perfectly. The Cuban (marinated pork loin, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, spicy mustard, and pickles on a toasted hoagie roll) was a flavor bomb. Look at that cross-section--juicy, tender pork layered thick with ham, melty cheese, and that perfect pickle crunch cutting through the mustard kick. The bread toasted up golden and held everything together without getting soggy. Paired it with fries and a side of ketchup, and it felt like something straight out of a great Cuban spot. Huge portions that actually satisfy. The Classic Reuben on toasted marbled rye was equally stacked: thinly sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and 1000 Island dressing. The bread had that ideal crisp exterior with a soft bite, and the fillings were generous and well-balanced--no dry bites here. Came with crispy fries and a side of creamy sauce that tied it all together beautifully. Service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere is that perfect relaxed neighborhood vibe (great for watching a game or just catching up), and the prices are fair for the quality and size you get. In a world full of average bar sandwiches, Crossroads delivers the real deal with fresh ingredients and obvious care. Whether you're craving the tangy, savory Reuben or the bright, porky Cuban, both hit the spot hard. I'll definitely be back. If you're in Flowery Branch, do not sleep on these sandwiches. Highly recommend--5 stars.

Complimentary bread served with a tomato balsamic like dipping sauce. Prices are great given the craziness of how expensive everything in our current economy is. Food came out hot and fresh. The server was pleasant but very matter-of-fact when I asked about the lobster bisque, simply saying it was on the way. The lobster bisque was flavorful, though saltier than usual. K said the Caesar salad was average. The bread was fresh and warm, though I would have preferred butter instead of the tomato sauce (even though the sauce itself was enjoyable). Service was slow overall and the food took a while to arrive. The crab cake was fairly bready and fried dark, but acceptable. K said the 14-oz ribeye was well prepared. The crab Oscar was overly salty. The mashed potatoes and fried chicken were solid choices. I substituted broccolini for green beans for a $2 upcharge, and it was worth it. The piano player until about 9 p.m. on Friday night added a nice touch, and the restaurant is attractive inside.

The blonde older woman working the self checkout registers on Sunday 7/13 around 9:30am proceeded to mock and criticize an elderly man who had brought a large dog inside with him while he was shopping. I didn't see a vest on the dog but it was well behaved and was acting calm like a service animal. If it was an issue there were plenty of times it could have been addressed but he was shopping and had items in his cart already. Her and another woman were talking so catty and loud that I had to listen to it and even shot them a few looks. I've seen this man walking with his dog before along Mundy Mill so I am unsure if he has the means to travel without it or a place to leave it while he is away. No one knows the situation he's in but to hear that coming from employees sounding so catty lacking compassion really disturbed and upset me. I complained to the bearded man at customer service (in front of that employee) but I doubt it will be addressed or that employee will change their condescending behavior to ppl who might be less fortunate . Like I'd said if it was an issue talk to the person about it instead of giggling and mocking them and complaining without actually learning what's going on. Alittle kindness costs nothing but has the biggest payoff. I'd worked at Kroger for 12 years and have been exposed to a variety of people with different situations and backgrounds and given me more empathy for others and emotional intelligence, something that employee and customer obviously lack
