We've driven past Tea Garden several times, and we finally took the time to look at their reviews. Impressive. We ordered many different dishes. Prices were low, compared to other places of similar cuisine. Once we got all the food, we understood the reason behind the pricing; small portions. Fortunately we over-ordered, as usual so we had enough. If we didn't, we would have been short. In most places, each entree serves more than one. Not here. On the good side, the food was both delicious , and of good quality. If you like Asian food, this is a good option. Just bare in mind, the portions are really more individual, or for two moderate appetites. read more

We love the Tea Garden. We eat there at least weekly. The Kung Pao chicken is awesome. We also get steamed dumplings which are good and presented well. I'm so upset! I ordered the Thai chicken soup and it's disgusting! It doesn't taste like coconut at all. It tastes like shrimp soup with sugary cows milk. The food is great. The staff and service are superb. We visit this location all the time! I've never had a burnt egg roll or undercooked vegetables! Update: the food is still great and now they deliver but only for short distances. They have a website which you can view the menu on but it isn't set up for placing orders yet - http://teagardenbraselton.com/ Everything I've ever tried here is good but I'd highly recommend the wonton soup - it's the best I've ever had at any Chinese restaurant anywhere! I also love their chicken lo mein, general's chicken and their fried rice. Very yummy ;-) The kids get French fries and chicken drumettes. If I could they wouldn't have a star!!!! This place is terrible. From the food to the service. I don't understand how you burn soup, there were burn flakes in the soup. The food was either extremely salty or sweet. They are very rude, they didn't like that we wanted new food because it taste horrible, instead of walking out after being told "that's how the food taste". We been here before but never have I such poor service let alone sent food back. We were given dirty looks, talked poorly to and about as a customers. Then they had the audacity to ask for a tip after giving such reponse and behavior....Never Again will we be back....I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy!!! read more

We ordered delivery. It came just as expected. I the packaging was good but the food was just ok. It seemed to lack flavor. I ordered the lettuce wraps and egg rolls. The food is fast food quality, at least for the traditional type meals (teriyaki chicken, egg rolls, etc). Very low grade meat. Undercooked vegetables. And burnt egg rolls. Parked at the Pilot truck stop and walked over to the little shopping center. The Tea Room has some pricey entrees, but the lunch special is reasonable. The hot & sour soup was tasty and the fried noodles were crunchy. The massaman curry with shrimp was also just right. I love American-style Asian cuisine and this food was just right. I can't comment on the beef and chicken dishes but the cook in this kitchen can prepare this food properly using inexpensive ingredients. The 2 star review might be a little harsh. Really good Chinese. My family and I ate here on our trip to and from NC to Florida. Just happened to pull off the same exit the second time. You can get a dinner combo for under $9 which includes soup, entree with rice and egg roll. Nice change from fast food or Cracker Barrel when you are traveling. read more
