We were in the mood to explore Asian restaurants in the area. It was the first day of Lunar New Year and I wanted to have noodles. We were a party of four. Three adults and one kid. I ordered Singapore rice noodles, the rest had green curry, basil noodle, and the kid had sesame shrimp. It was a quiet Saturday night,. We went there past the evening rush so we feel blessed to have had great service from the one server we saw helping all the customers. The place was not packed but there were at least four other tables besides us. Their Thai tea is the best in the area. Two in our party ordered it with Boba and the flavors were very well balanced - not bitter and not cloyingly sweet. I stuck with water and regretted that I did not order this myself. The green curry was the best dish of tonight's table, It compared with real good Thai restaurants we have visited in other big cities before. The basil noodle was second best, it was more spicy than we liked but the notes underneath that heat were really good. The menu did say that the basil noodle was spicy so there was our fair warning. This restaurant has been here for over a decade, and was recently bought out. It used to be fantastic, and i can say now after biting the bullet and trying it my self through doordash, it's garbage. Poorly made and overpriced. the coconut soup was sickeningly sweet, it tasted like there was as much sugar in it as would be in a dessert. for a savory dish, it was gag-worthy. The sushi roll was at least edible, but the tempura outside was soggy and it was half the size for the same price. Mind you, I had ordered from them many times through doordash before the change in management, so it isnt a matter of delivery or in-person. I have never had that problem before. New owner kept all the menu items and names but can't be bothered to use the original recipes, instead opting for shoddier, cheaper, and PRICIER versions. Green Tea has been recently renamed to ATL Sushi Pho and I think the quality has improved significantly since the first time I visited before the changes. We ordered combination pho and it was as good as our favorite place about an hour away. We paid a few dollars less than we normally pay, and got slightly less protein, but my bowl still had a good variety of cuts, tripe, and fat. I was happy with the savings and the flavor. We also ordered Massaman Curry, and the curry was delicious, but we removed the chicken because it had a strange texture. I'll stick to vegetables next time. read more

I ordered this for takeout from one of the apps and this turned out to be very disappointing. I don't know how is this supposed to be Pad Thai and fried rice. The Pad Thai didn't taste like the Pad Thai I normally have. The sauce tasted like ketchup and was watery. The fried rice was plain. It tasted like they just poured some soy sauce and mixed it. It was a waste of money. I spent about $80. I ended up throwing the rest in the garbage. It was very saucy and salty. Definitely won't be ordering from here again. read more

This is basically another Chinese/Thai/sushi spot you find in your local neighborhood. Food is ok quality, not bad but not amazing. They are always friendly. Stopped in while my son was in class to pick up two bento boxes number twos and I was informed that they only do it during lunch not doing dinner. The restaurant was empty. I mean empty known was in there. It's a simple little sushi box. so they refuse to sell it to me 16 bucks apiece little pricey, but it out a convenience so we left went to Kroger And fed 2 kids sushi rolls $10 and they were tickled to death so thank you very much for saving me money and I will not be back because they don't provide customer service. The bubble tea was great. Only thing is I ordered kiwi popping pearls, and got tapioca balls instead. Maybe she forgot? But I was okay with it either way. Thought I found a thai place near me. Ordered the thai basil chicken and the Thai basil beef. Sadly the food was super super salty. The vegetables didn't taste fresh. The "fried rice" is just plain rice with an awkward staleness. The hot and sour soup that came with it had too much corn starch so it was more on the thick side and salty. The eggroll was tasteless. The crap Ragoon literally was just a fried shell with cream cheese there was no imitation crab or onion or scallion in there. But on the good side the staff was wonderful and she tried to remake the one of the dishes for us. So I appreciate the customer service part but sadly the food was disappointing. I hope they can improve and maybe I'll give it a chance again someday. read more

Service was good. The teriyaki chicken was inedible. The chicken was grilled with no seasoning, so it was so dry, then there was store-bought teriyaki sauce drizzled on top. I purchased the string bean chicken and it was old and not fresh, we also order a shrimp dish from the kids menu. This was one of the worst Chinese food restaurants I have ever been to. Panda Express serves fresher food then this place. They got an 87 from the health department and I am not surprised. I called the manager and he he said he has been in Dacula 15 yrs I think he survives because there is not much food in that area. As you enter though, you are pleasantly welcomed by the nice staff and pockets of people dining in. Their menu selection was pretty vast (Chinese, Thai, or sushi). The date had the moo goo gai pan. It's a pretty simple dish with somewhat plain flavors, but he liked it so I'll go with it. I had the spicy basil noodle (?).This reminded me of drunken noodles. It was delish with all its flavor! It wasn't spicy spicy. It was more of a spicy after taste. I would definitely recommend this with pork as the meat of choice. Service was pretty good. Everyone seemed very friendly and upbeat. Located in a strip mall next to the playground area on Auburn Hwy, this is a high quality place that when in the area we frequent often. Although I mostly eat Sushi here if I head out this direction, all is fresh and service is fast. These sushi chefs are the best in the area. Chef David is one of the finest sushi chefs in the South. They have a specials board as you walk in and the fish is very fresh and on display. They have a plethora of raw rolls, cooked rolls, great squid and seaweed salad or a std ginger salad if you choose. I am a tuna nut and the tuna is always fresh and melts in your mouth. I get a crispy tuna, or sashimi plate with salmon, yellow tail, all very good. I will try to put up picks of other dishes other than sushi, but have a weakness for tuna, and fresh salmon. This is our favorite Chinese takeout place. It's not the closest but it's our choice for many reasons. Their service is always great and quick and the biggest being, it's just plain good! I have ordered sushi and it's surprisingly good. Not my favorite sushi, but takes care of the cravings. It was lightly fried, which is absolutely to my liking and cooked to perfection! Had the miso soup... Overall not bad, but the broth was sort of lacking in flavor. I'm not sure that I would get that again. Now to the main entrée I had something called big noodle... I really wanted something with a kick, so I requested that it be made especially spicy! The waiter raved about the seasoning of their food... So I was super excited... Until it arrived that is. (Sad face!) I have never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. We've been coming here for probably a year now and every time we come the female server is so rude. If we asked for anything, she acted like it was an inconvenience to her. The last few times we came, she wouldn't even wait on us and instead sent the rude ass man over in her place even though she was waiting on every other customer in the building. My drink sat empty half of the time we were here even though she directly looked at it numerous times. If you have male parts, she might smile at you.
