Piece of metal that was in my Sesame Chicken

I won't lie the food is good, I ordered the sesame chicken with white rice for delivery. While I was eating there was a t of sharp metal inside my chicken and it got in my throat and I had to go to the hospital where they had to operate on me to get it out. Very traumatic experience, will not be eating food from here again.

The door was unlocked, so we walked in. A staff member told us they didn't open until 11:00 and asked us to wait outside. He also told us that we should only come in when the sign outside was lit. I completely understand that the restaurant has business hours, but it was only three minutes before opening. Also, it's summer and the sunlight is very bright, making it extremely difficult to tell whether the sign is lit or not. The three-minute wait wasn't the issue. What bothered me was the way the staff member spoke to us. It felt more like he was lecturing us than politely communicating with customers. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for us not to come back, and I would not recommend this restaurant to my friends.

We ordered at 7:15 PM, and by 7:44 PM, our food was at the door..still steaming like it had just been plated. This place closes at 9 PM, with the last delivery at 8 PM, so we were pretty impressed by the speed. We went with the General Tso's Chicken with fried rice, Shrimp Lo Mein, egg drop soup, and crab rangoon. My husband's a big fan of the General Tso's, and I get why--great portion size, great flavor, and for the price, it's a solid deal. The crab rangoon? Eh. It was like every other Chinese restaurant's crab rangoon. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. As for me, I had the soup and lo mein. The egg drop soup was fine, but it was a little... oily? And it could've used a bit more flavor. The lo mein, though... wow. It was like someone made noodles and then forgot to season them entirely. I found myself thinking, "Okay, what can I add to this to make it not taste like cardboard?" But honestly, I wasn't in the mood to start a culinary experiment at 7:44 PM, so I just gave up and ate it anyway. All in all, 3/5 stars. Fast delivery and a solid General Tso's saved the day, but the lo mein and soup definitely need a little more love.

My partner and I decided to try Tani Thai 02.20.2026 and stopped by around 6:30PM for dinner…read more First off, the interior seemed clean and well-kept. The ambiance was dark and intimate, which I appreciated -- it gave the space a cozy, relaxed vibe that felt nice for a dinner date. The music was low and soft, which worked well since most of the tables were talking pretty loudly. It didn't feel chaotic or overstimulating, and we were still able to have a comfortable conversation. Service was decent -- we were seated quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Here's what we ordered: Tiger's Tears ($15) - 3/5 This was the dish I was most excited about. It's described as grilled beef with chili-lime seasoning, onions, scallions, and sweet peppers. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The beef was noticeably tough, chewy, and a bit sinewy rather than tender and juicy. The chili-lime sauce was very sharp and aggressively acidic -- overwhelmingly sour to the point where it masked the savory, char-grilled flavor of the meat. It was supposed to be spicy, but as an Asian who regularly eats and enjoys spicy food, there was barely any heat at all. The dish looked vibrant and colorful, but flavor-wise it felt unbalanced and slightly one-dimensional. Basil Fried Rice with Chicken ($18) - 2.5/5 The menu labeled this as spicy as well, but again, there was zero kick. Not even a subtle warmth. It tasted like very standard, plain fried rice -- mildly seasoned, slightly oily, and lacking depth. The fresh Thai basil aroma wasn't very pronounced, and the overall flavor felt muted and underwhelming. The chicken was okay texture-wise, but the dish as a whole didn't stand out or justify the price point. It needed more heat, more fragrance, and more boldness to feel like true Thai basil fried rice. Coconut Mushroom Soup with Chicken ($5.50) - 2/5 This one was disappointing. When it first arrived, it was comforting and creamy with a light coconut aroma. Initially, it tasted balanced and mildly savory. However, as it sat and I alternated between dishes, the flavor became increasingly sour and slightly off-putting. The chicken was extremely dry, stringy, and overcooked, which made it difficult to enjoy. The broth lacked the rich, silky depth I was hoping for and ended up tasting thin, overly acidic, and somewhat flat. Thai Teas ($5.50 each) - 3.5/5 Honestly, these saved the night. Sweet, creamy, and refreshing -- exactly what you expect from a good Thai tea. Smooth, well-balanced, and flavorful. Water - 0/5 I took one sip and didn't touch it again. It tasted like straight tap water with a faint cleaning solution scent. Thankfully, we had the Thai Teas to rely on. Overall, the experience was okay but not memorable. The atmosphere and ambiance were pleasant, but the food didn't quite deliver -- especially considering how Thai cuisine is typically bold, aromatic, spicy, and layered. For us, the dishes leaned either too sour or too bland, without much balance in between. Given the prices, we were expecting more depth and stronger flavors. Not a terrible experience, but not one we'd rush back for either.

Maybe they changed their menu or maybe I didn't know what I was looking for when I first made my visit back in 2018. What I can say for certain now is that something changed. For the better... So I decided to give this place another shot and get the normal gauge for a decent Korean Chinese joint. Granted they expanded their menu items out beyond the Korean and Chinese and into Thai which, great but not sure how that'll help for being out in the Buford/Sugar Hill area but do what you gotta do. So for the food this round. The jjajangmyun is solid. There's a deep rich wok hei flavor that's smoky and savory which is what this needed. The noodles are fantastic, the black bean noodle sauce is packed full of thinly sliced pork strips, onions, zucchini and other essentials that gives the sauce that flavor that is both savory from the wok hei yet also has a mild sweetness due to the onions. The noodles carry the sauce well and they cooked it perfectly. With the black bean noodles, the obvious pairing is the sweet and sour pork. The breading is a bit thick but the meat chunks are just as thick which gives it a decent mouth feel in terms of the fried breading and the pork meat. The sauce is sharply tangy but not unbearable. All in all, my experience this round was more than satisfying. I will say though, the pricepoint for the dish is pretty disappointing. I dropped $50 between the two entrees which is pretty painful dining solo. So come here with friends and go family style with main dishes.

Delivery was timely, the driver tonight left the food on the doorstep even though I asked to have it handed to me. (Not the restaurant's fault) I was even masked for the handoff as per DD protocol also! When I opened the bag, a couple things were immediately noticeable. The bag had sauce dropped on it, which told me that it was either tilted en route or when initially packed. Next I saw there was one lonely packet of soy sauce for two entrees but two packs of duck sauce (I don't know who wants this sauce it's just sugar and starch). Looking through the packaging, definite order issues! I asked for an order of the Crab Rangoons (6) and opened the container and saw 4. Boooooo. Then I noticed I was missing one egg roll; and one cheesesteak roll. Disappointing, as people didn't get what they wanted. I dug in, I was hungry. It's 30 minutes later and my stomach has been turning circles and cramping. Not very excited for what I imagine will be a rough night. I very rarely write super negative reviews, and usually when I do it's because I feel something is egregiously wrong. The portions look decent, and maybe it's an off day for the person checking orders- but I haven't eaten since 2 (7 hours ago) so there was nothing else that could be the offender of my stomach. I'll pass next time and order pizza or italian.

Luxury hot pot atmosphere with the best lunch price value for what you get at AYCE all-you-can-eat for $20. I actually get their hotpot lunch menu at least once a week, like clockwork. Because it's just that good. What makes this hot pot special: Large cooked kitchen menu AUCE included in hot pot price. Including rare items, like; braised tea eggs, sichuan shredded potato, gyoza, Taiwanese style pop chicken nuggets, and more. Unlimited chicken wings, made fresh. And, the wet lemon pepper slaps. Meat portions are so large that I order half portion. Sauce buffet bar here is the best in Georgia. Super clean, refilled often, and even has amazing peppercorn oil 花椒油. Want my sauce recipe? Luxurious and cute interior space, filled with white marble and Tiffany blue tableware. Their house pickles are on the buffet and are super addictive. I eat about 3 large bowls per visit. My only complaint here is that the broths are very mild in flavor and meats aren't the highest quality --- but the value, price, cooked items selection, and sauce bar makes up for it. The beautiful Tiffany blue plating and white marble decor here reminds me of the late and lovely hotpot place in Taiwan, Jiu Zhai Shi Guo 九寨十鍋-中山旗艦店. This is the Buford location only. Other locations don't appear to have all you can eat hot pot. I still need to try their dim sum menu.
