I really wanted Chinese food and decided to give this place a try. I had high hopes from the other reviews, but it just wasn't up to par. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with other businesses, but parking wasn't hard to find when I went. When I walked in, the guy that took my order wasn't the most pleasant and didn't have good customer service but I let it slide this time. Didn't take long to get my order, as I walked in and ordered. The FOOD: So I ordered the fried rice and General Tso's chicken. Neither of which were good. The rice was not cooked all the way and lacked flavor. The General Tso's chicken had this weird taste to it. Not like any General Tso's chicken I've ever had. I'm always skeptical when eating saucy chicken at Chinese places so the weird taste turned me off. I ate out of the food once and threw the rest away. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. We've been coming here for probably a year now and every time we come the female server is so rude. If we asked for anything, she acted like it was an inconvenience to her. The last few times we came, she wouldn't even wait on us and instead sent the rude ass man over in her place even though she was waiting on every other customer in the building. My drink sat empty half of the time we were here even though she directly looked at it numerous times. If you have male parts, she might smile at you. If you want mediocre food and the rudest heifers for waiters, definitely come here. The restaurant it self even needs a good cleaning and there is no public reserves for paying customers. read more

I've always passed by Green Tea but I never stopped by until now. I decided to have lunch there because I was craving Asian and didn't want to go to Duluth (I was also in the area). Green Tea is located in a little plaza and already, I can tell that parking is a problem because it's limited. The interior of Green Tea is nice and there are plenty of tables as well as a sushi bar area I was given the lunch menu and I ordered the Dragon and Phoenix lunch entree, which is like a land and see combo with shrimp, chicken, and veggied. Lunch items came with soup of choice, a crab ragoon, and an veggie eggroll. I chose white rice, which may or may not be an extra cost, and I chose egg drop soup. The lunch menu had a good variety of options yet they kept certain items limited to the lunch menu (i.e. you can't order sushi rolls from the lunch menu). My egg drop soup was served with a side of crispy wonton strips. The soup had flavor, which I liked, but the soup was salty and my cup of water had to be refilled because I nearly drank it all in between sips of soup. The Dragon and Phoenix lunch portion was just right for a light lunch and I felt healthier eating it because it had a light sauce. The edges of the crab ragoon were a little darker shade of golden brown but it still tasted good. I didn't bother with the eggroll because I prefer eggrolls with meat in it (they do exist!). Would I come back for another visit? Yes, I would. Green Tea seems to have a lot of potential and it's good, especially because it's in an area that isn't dominated by Asian cuisine like Duluth or Doraville. read more

Wow. We used to love this place when it first opened but now the food is subpar. I remembered Green Tea being expensive but always believe it was because better ingredients. Not the case! The general Tso, Lo mein, egg roll, crab rangoons all had a burned oil taste. The rangoons looked made in advance as the filling was dried out and formed a mass. The general chicken was bland and it also had a burned taste. Not a good experience. Really need to question charging so much for Chinese food if it is going to taste so bad. I was craving Thai food and this used to be my favorite place back a few years ago. I stepped in and was surprised - and not in a good way. It looks like their storage or office has spilled out in to the dining area, boxes, papers, etc, it was just weird and didn't look clean. The lunch I ordered was decent, the chicken was good, sauce was good, veggies were very al dente not cooked enough, almost raw, the rice was blah. I think the worst part was that it seemed like the cooks from the kitchen were watching us eat. Everytime I looked up they were staring at our table. We've been ordering food from Green Tea for probably 15 years or more. I haven't left a review before and felt it was high time that I did so. They have always been friendly, fast, and accurate with there orders. The food is pretty good never had cause to complain. We order all over the menu and everything is always tasty. During a global pandemic it's nice to know that some of your little restaurants that you relied on for years are still available and doing their best. Frequently dine here. Ordered Mongolian chicken, egg rolls and tea. The Mongolian chicken was excellent. The egg rolls (3.50) were saturated with oil, chewy, not crispy and did not taste fresh. Both my server and the manager came and asked if I was going to eat it, I told both it was not good and I was not be eating it but told both that the entrée was excellent. I was surprised that the 3.50 was not taken of but I still tipped 25% because to support wait staff. Poor customer service for a loyal diner. read more

Our family has ordered here many times and every time we have been impressed. Menu is composed of a mixture of traditional Chinese food items as well as a mix of unique dishes and sushi. Our food always arrives at our house well before the estimated time and has always been cooked properly. One major plus was their response to a mess up. The driver forgot two of our items. We expected to just be comped for them. Not only did he go back and return with two freshly cooked items, they comped it off our bill and gave us a $20 gift card. The manager (or someone) actually called us the next day to apologize as well. Customer service wise-they went well above and beyond what we expected. We've only eaten in store once and the food was just as good. Attentive and friendly staff. My Yelp friend, Kevin Y, recommended me to come here for the best sushi in town; specifically by Sushi Chef David. Wow! I came two weeks ago and we were a party of 6. I brought my fiancé , parents and twin sisters. Julie served us and gave us great service. We had cold beers, wine and a variation of different rolls. Matt LOVED the Thai Tea... We met the owner and David and everyone was lovely. Everything was fantastic. Matt and I wanted sushi tonight and we decided to try Green Tea again, just us two. When going to have sushi, we love to sit at the bar, if possible, wherever we go. I called ahead to make sure David was there and was glad to see no one sitting at the bar :-) The bar is too low, they should really see if they could raise it to be at level with the chef. It makes talking to him rather difficult and takes away from the experience. He treated us to what I believe was squid salad. This was phenomenal. The ginger peanut sauce was amazing and the squid was so tender; will definitely order this next time. We then asked for not one, but two, crispy tuna rolls. Because Kevin's pictures of this is what convinced me to come see David. O M G!!!! You have to get this... It is literally the best thing I have ever tasted. Big pieces of raw tuna with a crispy tempura wrap.. Topped with sriracha and served over this incredible sauce. This dish, that we ordered two of, was Out..Of.This.World.. SO good. After this we ordered a rainbow roll, spicy yellowtail roll and a California roll that's topped with salmon. Rainbow roll, per usual, was good. California roll with salmon on top was really good, not so basic haha... The spicy yellowtail roll was our second favorite; spicy mayo makes anything extra tasty. Rolls are perfectly sized and appropriately priced, they don't break apart. I can't say enough good things about David. He is so sweet and attentive. My husband and I went here this past Sunday with a couple of friends of ours. I don't know why this place is so highly rated. I was craving sushi but wasn't starving so I decided to order a spicy tuna roll. My husband had the egg drop soup and the mongolian triple. The soup was your standard egg drop soup. Nothing fancy. The mongolian triple was ok. My spicy tuna roll was meh. The color of the tuna wasn't even the right color. It looked like the color of imitation crab that is used in california rolls. It looked like imitation crab yet tasted like spicy tuna. Weird. Service was ok. I probably won't be back. read more

I was sorely disappointed in the quality of the food here. My satay chicken was dry and fatty. The sauce was served COLD, right out of the fridge. No flavor to it at all. The Green curry (pork) barely had any sauce to it. Even more disappointing was the huge chunks of fat in the pork. The "mixed" vegetables were huge amounts of green bell pepper and sugar snap peas with a small amount of zucchini. No mushrooms, onions, or bamboo to be found. The Thai Iced Tea was decent, but not good. The service was fine. Polite and attentive. The atmosphere was fine. The front entrance looked rather cluttered. Didn't appear dirty, though. Been awhile since an update. Stopped by yesterday for take out since I spent most of the day with my wife working around the house. Did order my staple of Singapore Rice Noodle Extra Spicy along with Basil Fried Rice with Shrimp. Just like before, one call, 10 minutes, quick hot meal that is spread over a couple days. The service here is great, the staff is long term as it is a family owned restaurant, and the kitchen is open air so you can see them cook. Still a 4 star for me. Came here with the husband and baby. I ordered the chicken & vegetables noodle soup so that I could share with the baby (on soft solids). The bowl looked promising. Steaming hot on arrival. Fresh looking veggies- broccoli, carrots, snow peas, mushrooms and baby corn. The chicken was nice and tender. Not dry. Broth/soup was just ok. Chicken flavored and with a hint of msg maybe? Unfortunately the noodles were terrible. They were gummy. That's all I know how to describe them. Ate the dish but wasn't satisfied. Green Tea is located in a little strip mall in the middle of nowhere by the Swim Atlanta facility... but if you're out here, you should eat here! I've had their Chinese food for lunch and it was great. They have some of the absolute best hot'n'sour soup I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. The food is always extremely fresh and hot when served. It's also served very quickly so if you're in a rush - this is the place for you. However, the staff is very well mannered and has never rushed me or been overly present at my table. It's the perfect balance of "I want food NOW but am going to sit here awhile as I eat it..." Today, I had their Japanese bento box for lunch and it was FANTASTIC. I got bento box #9 which was $10 and a lot of food! I couldn't finish it. It came with miso soup, ginger dressing salad, 4 nigiri, shrimp and crab nigiri, 2 dumplings, and 8 spicy tuna rolls. It was a feast of a lunch.
