Three words: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! What an unpleasant experience, eating at the Winder GA restaurant! The wallpaper is all bubbled and peeling, the placed seemed dirty and the table was sticky and scuffed up. When we walked in, there was no host/hostess to seat us, and finally some kid came and halfheartedly showed us to a table. The place was almost empty, but the food still took a LONG time..."someone called off", and the usual excuses. Food was mediocre at best. This will be our last Ruby Tuesday experience. read more

My son has become quite the foodie and picked Ruby Tuesday for dinner. We visited on a Sunday evening, it was a slow night as we were the only diners on the right side of the restaurant. There was maybe one other table occupied on the opposite side. We ordered the kids marinara pasta, kids chicken strips, chicken quesadilla, the rib eye, rib and shrimp combo and the loaded potatoes to share. My husband was the only one that enjoyed his meal. My dad and I did an online order, I had to make a change and Kimberli was able to accommodate me. From the minute, I walked in the door she was really friendly and everyone working in the restaurant was very nice. The food was good and presentation was nice. I'm sure the day you go could affect the taste of the food. While the lettuce and onions didn't seem fresh, other salad components were jsut fine. Smashburger and tater tots were solid. Never had to wait for a refill from the waitress. Not 100% sure if I would go back. read more

Back to the issue: once we were all finally seated, we noticed our children were placed at a table far away from the adults. We asked to move their table closer to ours since there were open seats, and at first, we were told that was okay. But shortly after, a host came over questioning us and made us feel uncomfortable, as if sitting our family together was a problem. My brother became upset and spoke with the manager, who brushed off the situation by saying it was busy because it was Mother's Day. While I was outside, I saw some of the management staff and made a lighthearted comment about them taking a break. I also told the manager I appreciated how calm he stayed during the earlier issue. His response was shocking--he said he used to manage bars in Florida and was used to this, but my brother was "two seconds from being kicked out." That was uncalled for. I went back to tell my family what was said, and my brother returned to address the comment. Shockingly, the manager claimed I lied--despite my husband being on the phone the entire time, listening to our conversation word for word. To make matters worse, the food and drinks were terrible. Several items came out cold, the flavor was bland, and the drinks were watered down or poorly made. We waited so long for our food, only to be even more disappointed once it arrived. For the prices we paid, the quality was far below acceptable. The worst part is the dishonesty and unprofessional behavior from management. We understand it was a busy day, but that's no excuse for splitting up families, treating us with hostility, serving subpar food, or falsely accusing a customer of lying. This was my first time at Ruby Tuesday--and it will be my last. I'm extremely disappointed with how we were treated and will be reaching out to request a refund for what was supposed to be a special family celebration. I haven't eaten at a Ruby Tuesday in years since the one by the mall closed. I decided to take a little bit of a drive to go there because their menu claimed to have fried mushrooms as an appetizer. Most places don't seem to have them anymore. Of course I get there to be told they were out. I started asking a couple of questions about if it was common for that to happen. The waitress who was nice said their supplier was out. I then asked her if they bread them in house figuring why not just go to a Walmart or Kroger or any grocery store and buy a couple of baskets. She said they get them frozen like you would with calamari or mozzarella sticks like a lot of restaurants do. So I guess that made sense but even she admitted that if they did bread them in house they would probably sell more, and I agree. The other thing that bugged me is since they didn't have the shrooms I ordered some broccoli and cheddar soup which was really good but a bit expensive for the size. I also added the salad bar which was good also. She said that the soup and salad combo included unlimited soup. I asked about it since the serving wasn't all that big and I would get one more. I was still ordering a full meal but was told that the soup would not be unlimited because technically I wasn't doing that particular order even though I ended up spending a good bit more than if I had only done soup and salad. That made no sense to me. The food overall was good and like I said the server was nice but they need to change a couple of their policies. I don't know if they're still a big enough company that sets the policies or if individual locations do it because from what I can tell, there aren't many locations left. That doesn't bode well for their overall business life. Get back to being more customer focused and not trying to alienate them and nickel and dime them. Anything not fried is okay but they definitely don't clean their fryers or they use old oil. We order first thing when they opened up and the fried food is trash , straight up tastes like really old oil. Disgusting. Clean your fryers and change your oil , it's not that hard. The food was average at best. The steak was undercooked and tough. The restaurant hasn't been updated in years and it shows. If you can't remodel, at least dust. The nostalgia of a Ruby Tuesdays still around got me. I was bummed they didn't have my old favorite buffalo chicken sandwich but I was glad they still had the salad bar. Stopped in for lunch for 2 on a weekday. Place looked half closed but it was open. Greeted promptly & sat. Pretty quick to get drinks/food ordered. Salad bar was decent & my burger was small but good. His lunch special fish looked pretty under par. My biggest complaint is that at noon the bathroom was disgusting. I absolutely love Ruby Tuesdays, especially the winder location. they have the friendliest staff , clean atmosphere and yummy food! if you haven't had the spinach artichoke appetizer your missing out , a must try your next visit ! I always get the same meal , the hickory bourbon ribs . They literally fall off the bone , and that signature sauce they make in house , is absolutely delicious! And I can not forget to mention that macoroni , served in it own little cast iron skillet . Then ending all that greatness with a dessert , they had some new ones I wanted to try this visit , but they are all good choices . This time We got the brownie explosion with ice cream and Carmel drizzle it was Phenomenal! My waitress tonight was Ms.Destin B. She was amazing making sure we got everything we wanted, plus an amazing memory remembering all my requests without a notepad or anything. I told her my entire order when she asked what drinks and she remembered it all . And of course I can't forget the back of house crew , the kitchen manager Brandon made some amazing food to start with , and even made sure to come out and ask how everything was , and going beyond his duties to make sure he had satisfied customers! it's hard to have such a wonderful staff ; as the winder Ruby Tuesdays has , but they have definitely accomplished that for there place of business! I have been to this Ruby Tuesday's a number of times. Sometimes with just my husband and quite a few times with a large group. We seem to always get Desiree for our large group. Man, she's awesome. Service is always great. We never go without, but she doesn't hover. I can only comment on their salad bar, as that's what I always get when I go there. It's always great. This location was busy on a Tuesday night, but on a false wait. Not enough staff to cover the floor. Customers waiting with plenty of empty tables. Waitress petite with dark hair in a bun was loud like a Waffle House waitress. She just never stopped making noise- unpleasant atmosphere because she was allowed to be so crass. The wait staff was not prebussing their tables, leaving messes for the host to handle. No busser. The manager had a ragged beard, untucked shirt, and dirty shoes. I was glad he didn't deliver our food, although he seemed to be running orders and expediting. The carpet is beyond nasty, threadbare. The chairs are ripped up. The whole dining room was filthy and in disrepair. This restaurant is clearly understaffed, and not getting a budget to keep the facility in decent shape. The food was OK, but nothing special. Just ordered 2 meals from Ruby Tuesday, Winder. Could not be more displeased with portions we received. Tired of paying a premium while receiving mediocre food. My wife opened the bag and immediately expressed how small the portion was. Took picture because there was so little in the container. The 4pc catfish meal was paper thin and the fries, you'd think they were being rationed. I could have and will go elsewhere for a better meal and more appropriate cost. My wife's meal, chicken sandwich, was almost the size of a slider. For $35, even in today's ridiculous costs was too much not to let you know, go elsewhere. read more

With the service and food quality on a steady slide, we stopped coming here about 5 years ago. Last night we decided to give it another try. The parking lot was nearly empty and there were only 4 other occupied tables. A waitress came for our drink orders: Amaretto and orange juice from the bar? Out of amaretto, they don't carry it anymore. Coke Zero? "We're out" Diet Coke it'll have to be. She came back with our drinks and took out food order. "Before you order, we're out of anything with grilled chicken". Fortunately we had better luck with the rest of our dinner. Our food was ok, served hot, and tasted fine. My wife ordered the "Hickory Bourbon Chicken" which came with somewhat overcooked zucchini and what she described as as clumpy gooey rice while I ate cold pasta with overcooked chicken parmigiana. By the way I really found the restroom in bad shape with a strong smell of urine and in need of a good cleaning. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon and there were no other customers when we arrived and only two other customers arrived while we were there so they were not busy. A little background first on this place. I saw this place on Grubhub which was listed as The Captain's Boil. I was wondering why it wasn't on Yelp until I tried to add the business and Ruby Tuesdays popped up. The same location as well as phone number, I decided to call the place to find out who they actually were. They then told me they were Ruby Tuesday but also cooked for the Captain's Boil. My order through GrubHub: I saw nothing but seafood on this page and decided to give them a go through GrubHub. I ordered crab legs for 2 and plus the crawfish. I was feenin for some seafood and thought I would give them a whirl. Baddest and most expensive experience I've ever had in my life!! Crablegs: The crab legs for one comes with 2 clusters and 5 legs on each from what I was told. So ordering for 2, I figured I had 4 clusters plus the corn and potatoes as well as the crawfish also with corn and potatoes. No dice!! I got ripped off bad on the crab legs. I had 2 clusters with the legs and they put in just the two bodies with no legs at all! I was so pissed!! Crawfish: As this is crawfish season, how in the world did I end up with the tiniest crawfish imaginable! There was not one decent size crawfish in my order at all, and I may have gotten only 10, and that's being generous. I probably got less than that. Captain Boils sauce: Are you kidding me?? Really?? This so called sauce was nothing more than messy at best. It didn't bring out anything to me particularly in the seafood at all, well for the little seafood I did have. That was a total waste!! Corn on the cob: That tasted pretty good. Nice sweet corn with somewhat of a little kick is always favorable to me. I did have 3 of those which I think I should have 4-5 because I had 2 orders of the crab legs and 1 crawfish which also comes with it. Again, ANOTHER EPIC FAIL!! Potatoes: That was a total joke as I was supposed to get 3 but they served them quartered up. I may have had 6 pieces of potatoes out of the whole thing!! Price: This whole total EPIC FAIL cost me $66.00 including the tip for my GrubHub driver. Ordered through door dash last night, 3/3/2022. I got the chicken and broccoli pasta Alfredo. This Ruby Tuesday has another name listed for the restaurant that I ordered from, Pasta Americana. The food came and it looked as expected. I also ordered two shrimp skewers for my daughter. When I ate the pasta, it literally had no flavor. And it was $18. Why...I have no idea. The shrimp did not come on skewers, it just came into two plastic clamshell containers. Which that didn't matter to me. But there were 4 in each clamshell (2 separate ones for some reason)...I think it was like $6 for the 8 shrimp. The pasta just had no taste. I had to add more cheese and salt to taste anything. I doubt I will return, this restaurant has not been good for years now and I gave it another chance but that's probably the last visit for me. read more

had a horrible mothers day experience at ruby tuesdays winder location. we had a large party so we expected to wait: which wasn't a problem. we were told by the nasty hostess it would be a up to a 2 hour wait. she acted like she didn't want to sit us. anyway our party was split up and 4 of our children were place in a booth that seats 2. we didn't complain we tried to make the best of it. however we saw a larger table open up: we asked the waitress "deseree" could we move she said "no problem" (ms. deseree was amazing) but the nasty host wasn't happy with us moving to a larger table. i watched her fuss at the waitress about us moving (didn't say a word) she then went by the salad bar a begin to complain to some other employees about us moving. at this point i became upset so i walked over and asked "is therr are problem ?". after going back & forth the manager in the red shirt basically dismissed our feelings. i began to wonder is it a racail thing because "we're african american" anyway after to my seat i apologized to the customers who saw the argument. the family and i continued on trying to have a pieceful dinner. my sister went outside and bumped into the manager in the red shirt: who said he was about to throw us out. when i heard this i became upset all over again. because we came there to have a good time with my 74 year old mom & 72 year old aunt: not to be treated like crap. i'm not sure if it was a racial thing or not. but we will never go to ruby tuesdays in winder georgia again. i do want to say again that our watress "ms. deseree" was amazing and the highlight of our day...... read more

Saddens me to say this will be the last time I eat at Ruby Tuesdays. Our booth table was dirty and very sticky. We asked to switch to another booth with a smile. Our waitress acted like we made her mad while she was moving us and gave us a ridiculous excuse why the table was sticky. Im not going to type it all here. The new booth she moved us to was the same way. A gross feeling very sticky table. We ordered tea, 2 smash burgers, and a 1 trip salad bar each. The salad bar was ok, definitely nothing special anymore. The tea was so weak it looked like water in the glass. I should have just ordered water, it tasted the same and would have save me 4 bucks. The smash burgers were terrible. They were very small and half the size of the bun, which I know every place is doing now to cut cost. They tasted terrible, bland with no flavor at all, and absolutely overcooked and bone dry. I had to take a drink of the 4 dollar water they called tea after each bit just to wash it down. The fries were good. We were going to get an appetizer but they are all 12 bucks or more now. It cost 47 with the tip for my girlfriend and I sit at a dirty sticky table, get bad tea, and a terrible burger. Definitely better options out there. read more

Went there tonight with the family. What a mistake. Wife did the all you can eat salad. She only got 1 small plate of salad minus some of the items she requested. Never was asked if she wanted more. If you can't have a normal salad bar just shut it down. The servers can't follow the sheet you fill out for your salad so please just stop. The steaks we ordered eh. My son and I asked for medium Steaks his was perfect mine was a hockey puck. I dealt with it since the cooks clearly haven't been trained. Over all the experience here tonight helped us make the decision to always go to Long Horns. I should of disputed my cc charges but instead I'll warn others to keep far away from here. SMH read more
