Downtown winder is not where I think I would find good sushi place but nooooooo this place is a gem. I hope they stick around. DO NOT PASS ON THE EXTERIOR OR INTERIOR a reflection of the food. Completely incongruent to what you think of a Japanese sushi bar. The interior is not Asian in any way. Mire like Italian, or middle eastern??? This family run Japanese or Chinese ethnicities. Ordered only 2 things to start to see if we wanted to stay and order more. Our shumai was crunchy so not steamed like memories of one in my past but delicious. Had the sexy roll- unique and so fresh. Great flavors, clean and delicious. Ordered 3 more rolls, all a complete complement to each other and again unique, flavorful, and presentation was very nice, the person thought about what they were doing. Sapporos for 3.99. Reasonable Sushi and drink locally. Ambiance 2 Food 5+ Service 4

Beer and Sake! I ordered to go but come sit at the bar and have a beer while I wait. Great place.!

So glad to have a new sushi bar in Winder! I now tried this place a few times and so happy they live up to my expectations !! Great local place downtown on the corner, inside eating area is clean, relatively small, but well organized. They have beer and sake, as well as other beverages, good sushi, rolls, and my favorite Good sashimi.!! The boys wanted the Godzilla roll, which is fried so I got three of those and they are fantastic !! The rolls are not as big as they used to be 10 years ago but they're also not $20. $13 for the Godzilla is a fair price and actually this is their biggest roll to me. Then I opted for. Toki fried rice which has chicken shrimp and beef with fried rice and a Ginger salad. The fried rice could've been a little more seasoned, but I brought those home and took care of that easily, tender steak and chicken, and a few shrimp made a great meal by itself.!! Tuna and salmon are so expensive now I've been waiting for a decent sushi restaurant so I don't mind ordering it rather than going to get my own sashimi at the Asian market, which is $35 a pound !! With all of their sushi rolls under $20, exceptional value. The tuna lovers with five tuna nigiri, and a spicy tuna roll is also a good value and lots of raw tuna. Tammi has taken my order twice, very efficient, very cordial and nice making the whole experience here great even if I'm taking it home to play it and sit by the TV and watch Netflix.. good value, good product, highly recommend!!!

It's great to have a local hibachi and sushi spot in downtown Winder. We got in and were sat pretty quickly for a Saturday evening. I'd never been in this building before. According to another review it was the old bank, but the decor is lovely! I think it's great use of this space! The service was good but perhaps not quite where it can be. Being a new restaurant they are still finding their groove. But we had to ask for chop sticks and never were given the opportunity to ask for dessert, which we were wanting, but it took so long to close out the check we decided to try out the ice cream shop down the street instead. We sampled a few things across the menu starting with the Kani Salad. I wanted to love it but just didn't feel this had much flavor. Next up was the Tuna Tataki which is one of the best I've ever had! Next comes my Ginger (or house) salad which had only chopped lettuce and dressing, no carrots or cucumber which is pretty standard but the dressing was good. The Clear Soup was flavorful with mushroom slivers and green onion. We ordered the Angel roll (highly recommend) as well as Tuna, Salmon, Eel, and Yellowtail nigiri. Both the Tuna and the Salmon were both so fresh and absolutely melt in your mouth! I wish they had more nigiri options but they do cover the basics. I also wish they carried muscles but these are just preferences. It's not like we left hungry. Rounding out our menu sampling we ordered Filet Mignon Hibachi. The steak was perfectly cooked and flavored as were the vegetables. The fried rice was okay, for a dollar extra I would expect some veggies and scrambled egg thrown in. It didn't have a lot of extra flavor considering. After all this, we decided to get an extra order of tuna nigiri. It's just that good! I believe this is only their second week open so I'm sure they are still finding their footing. Some of the points I've mentioned may work themselves out and hopefully if they are reading these reviews they take this constructively. Either way, we will be back. It's a great spot to hop in and grab a quick bite of sushi or nice hibachi dinner.

My husband and I came here for one of our date nights. We were excited to try somewhere new in Winder. For our appetizers we ordered calamari and the gyoza. We didn't care for the calamari. One they looked like onion rings. I like the calamari that is served using the tentacles. Two the breading wasn't quite right very crunchy and they were more chewy than we have had elsewhere. The gyoza was very good so good we made a second order for them for our table. My husband ordered the spicy tuna and Superman roll and I ordered the spider roll. I did wish the spider roll had a larger portion that was served. I thought paying $10 for 5 pieces wasn't reasonable. I tried my husband's superman roll and I enjoyed it. I could do without the imitation crab meat on top but the menu says it was supposed to be topped with imitation crab and steamed shrimp. We did not see any steamed shrimp. Although they fell short on the calamari and missing steamed shrimp on the Superman roll it was still a good and new restaurant to try.

After a busy Saturday we didn't feel much like cooking dinner after going through all our regular options we decided to try Toki Hibachi & Sushi. It just opened recently and has a 100 food score! Woot woot! It's located in the old bank where The Lobby used to be. The inside is clean and mostly the same as before with the ornate light fixtures and sleek decor. We had the chicken hibachi with soup and salad. The miso soup flavor was so good you could really taste the seaweed which I love! The salad was fresh although I wish they used dressing with a little more ginger flavor. The chicken was cooked well not overdone or stringy which I appreciated I forgot to get a side of teriyaki sauce to dip it in though will have to remember that next time lol! Overall, I thought it was good we will definitely be trying it again! Also, you can place online orders as well which I know will come in handy for us! Give it a go!

Kinda skeptical at first but the food, service and atmosphere were great. We got in just before they started getting busy. The only downside was the tables are so pushed together it's hard to get in and out, even for a skinny person. Haha

Various rolls including the downtown winder roll, the dragon rolls, the TNT roll and of course, the eel and octopus nigiri

Tuna tataki tasted unbelievably fresh! Service was lightning fast and everyone was super friendly! Make sure to request Andy he can virtually read your mind and deliver before you have to ask! "Eddie's Special" (the chefs special) has the perfect kick without overpowering the fish with the perfect smokiness to it! This is officially my new favorite sushi spot! And yeah the presentation was gorgeous and unique, vibrant modern yet relaxing and the cozy interior make it perfect for an unforgettable dining out experience

A great addition to our growing town of Bethlehem…read more During our last minute lunch visit we ordered the 5 piece chefs choice nigiri, shrimp and steak lunch hibachi, a bowl of tonkatsu ramen, as well as a set of 3 rolls to go. Our lunch meals, and to go rolls, came with soup and salads. Salad comes with a mild ginger dressing. Soups included miso and clear/onion. Hibachi was very fresh. No overcooked vegetables or rubbered protein. Ramen was savory and noodle portion was generous. I ended up taking my leftover to go to check the quality of the noodles and they did NOT get mushy. Overall the food was excellent considering we are in Bethlehem, the service was warm and attentive, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the nigiri.
