Absolutely amazing! When I first came in I was welcomed to a very clean eating area, which I was incredibly happy to see. No sticky tables, no weird stains, everything looked fresh. The staff were quick to welcome me as well, and made a point to let me know if I had any questions about the menu they'd be happy to answer them. It all felt very genuine, which I think is missing from a lot of places. The smiles and words weren't forced. 5/5 Service and atmosphere. As for the food, I ordered 2 lunch specials to-go + 1 fountain drink (~$27 before tip): 1 order of the chicken teriyaki hibachi and 1 of the 2 classic rolls (yellow tail + salmon for me). The wait was very brief, and everything came out fresh without any hint of "this has been sitting ready for a while", another rare commodity these days! For the chicken teriyaki, the portions were very good for the price. The plate was filled completely, with about half and half splitting of the fried rice and chicken. The fried rice was delicious, soft and fresh without feeling too oily at all, and the vegetables were SO good! The cabbage and carrots were cooked perfectly tender. As tasty as the chicken was, I will make a small critique that it was just a tad dry and a little bit low on the teriyaki sauce, however this may be attributed to the chicken being expected to go with the yum yum sauce (also portioned well). 5/5 The two rolls were some of the BEST I've had for such a simple make. The rolls were made up of just the fish, seaweed, rice and some seasonings, but they were nonetheless STELLAR. Very fresh, perfectly cooked rice, and the ratio of fish to roll was *generous*. Each piece was rather large, which I personally enjoyed very much but for those that may not be into that be aware. My only complaint is that the side of soy sauce that came them was very small. 5/5 Overall this is definitely a wonderful choice for anyone looking for some actual decent sushi and hibachi in the Jefferson area (without breaking the bank), I strongly recommend it! read more

Online ordering is easy and fast. Portions are huge and allergen notes are taken seriously which is a huge plus for me! We absolutely love the hibachi plates here. I had the lunch hibachi shrimp with fried rice and vegetables and Philadelphia roll, all for $20. The fried rice was okay, no vegetables just egg; not much seasoning, definitely added yum yum sauce to the rice. The vegetables weren't hot, more like lukewarm. I highly recommend the Yoi Roll, Yummy Roll, and Falcon roll. I'd stay away from the little cheap rolls like the cucumber roll, lacks flavor. I've eaten here a few times and always get either the hibachi noodles with veggies or hibachi noodles with chicken. It's pretty decent for a takeout place, about on par with the old food court stuff. The staff are all super nice. Today I decided to add an avocado roll and I am so glad I did. I was a little worried at first because it closely resembles the Kroger sushi packaging but luckily it was not Kroger sushi (although I do enjoy the occasional sushi from Kroger). It was very fresh and absolutely delicious. I will probably never get the food court hibachi again and just stick to the sushi!!! read more

It's ok. Not the best by far. Couldn't stomach the California roll- one of my favorites- something tasted off. The shrimp tempura roll was edible & decent. My husband got the chicken noodles and that was good. The edamame was way underdone and crunchy. I also don't understand how you can order sushi and not be given chopsticks?? Weird. So I lived in Jefferson for years and I have never ate here until now! We got the hibachi grilled chicken and steak and the grilled chicken steak and shrimp. The plate they give you is extremely generous. I was able to split both trays for four people and still have some to take to lunch. Definitely order extra yum yum sauce because it's also delicious you can also get yum yum sauce from Kroger's. I give this place a 10 out of 10 with what I got. Definitely going back to try other meals and do reviews on them. Also the staff was extremely friendly and patient while I figured out what I wanted to eat. read more

Ordered Sashimi dinner - received sushi dinner despite paying the extra $3. Ordered Hbiachi Grill dinner w/ fried rice - received white rice. Everything else was just fine. Adequate at best. I found this place with 5 stars and was very hopeful. Served in to-go boxes with self-serve plastic utensils or chop sticks and bottom line soy sauce, not good for sushi. I ordered a $12+ sushi which was bland and jumbo shrimp hibachi. The veggies were so over cooked they were almost inedible. The shrimp were ok. The only high point was the fried rice. There was a lot of it and it was very good. All in all for the nearly $30.00 I spent with water, to eat alone made me wish I would have eaten at home. The dogs enjoyed the rice. read more

What a wonderful addition to the food scene around here. I had the hibachi steak rare and it melted in your mouth. We also had the California roll, spicy tuna roll, and the avocado roll. All three were perfect. My only issue is I wish the tuna in the rolls were chunks of tuna as opposed to a pate texture but all in all two thumbs up! read more
