Came in here because work put me in a hotel near by. I walked here and sat at the bar. Food did came out fairly quickly. I had a big bottle of Sapporo and tall hot sake. I really enjoyed my meal for the simple fact that I was starving . I would go back only if I'm in the area. Other than that, I would prefer to stay near the city.

Outdated soy sauce given to me today when I picked up my to go plate that I had to wait an hour on.

Took and hour to get my to go order that was to be ready in 30 min. Was also given this outdated soy sauce.

We use to love this place! Haven't been in a while & the hibachi grill food was not good. The rice tasted burnt. My food didn't fill up my plate for $16 I was excepting leftovers. The soup is my favorite but all it taste like was garlic...still have the taste in my mouth & only ate a spoonful. Eating out isn't worth it anymore.

The food was fantastic and the service was even better. Make sure you get Kevin as your waiter and you will not be disappointed. Sushi Chefs make masterpieces and the Hibachi Chefs make sure you have plenty of food to take home.

Outlet last minute Christmas shopping!! On the way up 85n saw a billboard for Koji. I'm a lover of Hibachi and thought after shopping I must have some of this Koji hibachi (hehehee) :) Best prices for lunch $9.99 for shrimp hibachi including veggies and extra for fried rice. Just before the hibachi chef comes to set fire to the grill, they serve a miso or house soup/salad. Hibachi is full of oils/butter/sodium soy sauce, but before the chef starts to add all of that I tell him to Go light... Koji is a very nice japanese steakhouse, with sushi and everything else a japanese steakhouse offers. (Sake anyone?) There wasn't many people here, but plenty help was there to service and refill your drink. I came for a full belly and got just that. Delicious, fresh hibachi with leftovers for a late night snack....

The sushi is always decent, the service is acceptable, and it's a lot easy to drive here than to fight the traffic in other cities.

There is also a varied selection of appetizers, of which we added spring rolls and boiled dumplings to our table. Service was efficient and friendly. We were there a bit late for lunch, around 2 P.M., so there were few other diners. Ideal time, in my opinion. Clean restaurant, clean restrooms. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

So portion to cost to value, you're getting a good deal in this economy--- especially all the way out here; this is like what Palm Dale would be to Orange Country California. Ordered the soon Dobu, beef, it came with 4 sides of Banchan which aside from the soybean kimchi, were all pretty mediocre. Ordered a LA Kalbi, a little on the sweeter side, but not complaining, it was charred, crispy and well marinated. I downed everything in a matter of minutes. So, I was trapped in my big rig for 30+ hours the previous two days whilst getting screwed over by my broker delivering a load to Ahold Delhaize in South Carolina. **Never Again :) . ADUSA is the worse grocery foods company and publicly listed company in Europe...period. I left them a one star on Google. Good. Got that off my chest. As I was saying, dropped in here after spending the morning fixing my rig. And as a reward for getting my supply air hose back in running shape. I found this hole in the wall in Commerce Georgia. There was no one here, except me myself and I. And being the curious me, I started chatting with the female manager who turned out to speak Mandrin. It turns out in the recent slew of events this restaurant is located in close proximity to Korean Giant, SK Batteries. Yes... that company that partnered with the other giant which was raided by the likes of ICE in the recent anti immigration crackdown. No wonder there was no one here ...All the Koreans vanished. Bummer. All in all, the truck stop next door is pretty blessed to be located in such a prime location with food offerings other than burgers. So I vow the next time I truck through here, I will come back and order their Kimchi Pancakes and Kimchi Fries Rice..and maybe their spicy Teobukki..however way you spell that word.

The staff were quick to welcome me as well, and made a point to let me know if I had any questions about the menu they'd be happy to answer them. It all felt very genuine, which I think is missing from a lot of places. The smiles and words weren't forced. 5/5 Service and atmosphere. As for the food, I ordered 2 lunch specials to-go + 1 fountain drink (~$27 before tip): 1 order of the chicken teriyaki hibachi and 1 of the 2 classic rolls (yellow tail + salmon for me). The wait was very brief, and everything came out fresh without any hint of "this has been sitting ready for a while", another rare commodity these days! For the chicken teriyaki, the portions were very good for the price. The plate was filled completely, with about half and half splitting of the fried rice and chicken. The fried rice was delicious, soft and fresh without feeling too oily at all, and the vegetables were SO good! The cabbage and carrots were cooked perfectly tender. As tasty as the chicken was, I will make a small critique that it was just a tad dry and a little bit low on the teriyaki sauce, however this may be attributed to the chicken being expected to go with the yum yum sauce (also portioned well). 5/5 The two rolls were some of the BEST I've had for such a simple make. The rolls were made up of just the fish, seaweed, rice and some seasonings, but they were nonetheless STELLAR. Very fresh, perfectly cooked rice, and the ratio of fish to roll was *generous*. Each piece was rather large, which I personally enjoyed very much but for those that may not be into that be aware. My only complaint is that the side of soy sauce that came them was very small. 5/5 Overall this is definitely a wonderful choice for anyone looking for some actual decent sushi and hibachi in the Jefferson area (without breaking the bank), I strongly recommend it!

One is enough for two people to share or one person for two meals and for a fair price too. There's not much space for dine in, so don't take a huge party and don't expect a show. This is simple counter service hibachi but it knocks its competitor in town out of the park every single time.

They aren't just great at their job they get to know you by name, care about you as a person and spark up real conversations that aren't the same "how's things going?" Now, let's talk about the food. I've had sushi on 3 continents and this is hands done some of the best you will ever experience. Everything is fresh, prepared on the spot. Vast amounts of attention are put into the presentations making this one of my family's favorite spots. The only thing I could honestly think of that's negative is the front door (lol). Something about where they are located in the plaza creates a vacuum on that door from time to time and you really have to yank on the door to get it open, but I would gladly bring a crowbar for this food. Had a descent selection of Saki but I didn't partake. The menu was a bit overwhelming with options, particularly with the sushi. Ordered the volcano roll, honey sandwich roll, and can't for the life of me remember what the 3rd one was. They were all mediocre. Not bad, but not overly good either. I passed 2 other sushi places getting here with much better rolls. Service was fine, but it took forever to get our food and it wasn't very busy. Maybe I picked the wrong items on the menu, but probably wouldn't go back as there's much better options nearby.

Yumee Katsu is a modern-style katsu spot, and overall, the food is tasty even though I've definitely enjoyed some dishes more than others. My go-to order is the Assorted Katsu meal, and it's a winner for variety, flavor, and portion size. You get a couple of pieces of shrimp tempura, fish katsu, and pork & cheese katsu, plus the option to add a small side of udon or soba noodles. The fish katsu is light and flavorful, and the pork with cheese is a full-on cheese pull party. I also really enjoy their salad dressing and the dipping sauces that come with the donkatsu and fish katsu- they add a lot to the meal. The ambiance has a nice, modern vibe, and the service has always been friendly and welcoming. A small but thoughtful touch: they offer Asian candies for guests, which is a fun little refresher after your meal. Overall, Yumee Katsu is a great spot in Suwanee if you're in the mood for well-executed katsu in a cool, comfortable setting. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.
