All of the sushi is really high quality and you get huge portions. We've been here twice and we love every roll we've had. One of the more surprising items was how good the ginger salad is. The dressing is home made and we would for sure buy some to take home if they offered it.

Came here for dinner because I was craving some sushi. Interior has a big cherry blossom tree, a few tables and the sushi area. The service was a little slow considering there were only 2 other tables there. Our waitress was nice. The salmon sashimi had some of the white skin part showing which was not appealing. It tasted ok but a little on the tougher side. We shared three rolls. Beauty and the beast, crawfish ferry and no way Jose. The rolls came out nicely plated. However, there was way too much rice in all of them which took away from the rolls. The beauty and the beast roll was sweet, shrimp tempura that was inside was small. The soft shell crab was good. The crawfish ferry was a little disappointing to me because I was really hoping for whole crawfish on top but it was chopped up into small pieces. Roll was decent. Fav was definitely the no way Jose roll. We thought the inside/outside topping complimented each other well. House sake is hot sake which the menu didn't mention.

Came here after doing grocery @Aldi, we were hungry then found this location. Friendly staff & service was helpful. We waited a little longer than our order came out. Both dishes were good. I had Scottish salmon & hubs have rolls but I forgot what kind. We both enjoyed meals. It was a nice restaurant.

Love, love, LOVE this restaurant! Every time I've ever eaten here I've had excellent service and even better food! Top quality! I don't eat sushi but my kids and Honey love it. They've eaten sushi everywhere and all agree (5 of them) that this is by far the best sushi anywhere! Tonight was no exception! Our server, Alex, was top notch! She knew the menu inside and out and was very attentive to our every need! We started out with free chicken pieces that were delicious. We followed that with Goyza - cooked perfectly! Next was my Steak Hibachi with fried rice. Delicious! Tender cuts of meat cooked perfectly and delicious vegetables. Then came the 6 assorted sushi rolls. We ordered First Love, California Roll, pure life, volcano, lily something and I don't remember the other one. All were good but everyone loved the Pure Life the best! Highly, highly recommend this restaurant!

Rolls: karai volcano, unagi noble, and shrimpy land.

Service and the tempura cheesecake were superb! Yes, I've gotta mention the dessert first bc it was THAT great. But more details below. I can't be absolutely sure of the sushi rolls as the receipt was held hostage by my girlfriend. But, I'm pretty sure of its accuracy based on the type we ordered and recommendations from our server. Presentation was nice as was the quality (to the best of my lack luster sushi experience). Though you can't tell that much by all the dousing of ingredients and sauces. Karai volcano: This wasn't our fav as the spicy sauce was a little too overwhelming. This was a California roll on steroids. There were also shrimp and crab meat that made it a little unique. The toasted scallop was also interesting. Unagi noble: Eel and avocado in the roll and more on top. Yum! The tempura gave this a nice crunch. The white cream sauce accompanied by the typical eel sauce was something I randomly noticed -- I guess I never paid much attention to this. Did it add extra flavor? Sure?! Lol. Shrimpy land: Tempura galore with this pick! This was a shrimp tempura roll that was topped with crab meat. The white cream sauce comes into play with this roll along with the spicy mayo and eel sauce. I think my friend was satisfied with the pick as she was wanting shrimp. What's in a name right... The tempura cheesecake was interesting and amazing! It's like fried ice cream if you've had it before. This place is out of the way for me, but I'd come again so friends can experience this cheesecake if given the opportunity.

Rude staff and not great food. would not come here again. Ordered a roll and got something completely different.

California roll- with crab meat. Beautifully done

It doesn't look like much from the outside but inside is beautifully done. The service was amazing! I have not had a bite of decent sushi or seafood since we moved to Georgia + I have to say it was such a delight to eat amazing solid sushi- thank you!!!! We will be back again! I needed a more bland meal today so did just basic California rolls + edamame - crab meat is offered not just the crab stick!!! My husband loved the chicken teriyaki. Thank you so much! Cannot wait for our next visit

The sushi here is beautiful! It was also delicious as well. The spring rolls are amazing with a yummy sauce. The service is terrific, the atmosphere is relaxing and I will definitely be back.

Which I really loved! Everything was hot and fresh! Most of my experiences with general tso's (for pick up or delivery) have been that the chicken skin is soggy. Or the chicken is tough. Not here though. The chicken had the perfect amount of sauce, flavor, and spice. And it wasn't spice just for heat. It was actually a good blend of spice and seasoning. The chicken skin had a little crunch to it and the chicken itself was tender and juicy. The fried rice was just brown rice, but that's ok. (In the 90's, fried rice came with onions, green peas, & carrots. But things have changed since the 2000's but I'm still adjusting to that lol). Overall, a great experience and I will be back!

It was also nice to see photos of customers who celebrated there in the past. We made reservations for hibachi but had to wait a little bit before the table was ready, but I appreciated that the staff was communicative about the delay. Staff was nice and attentive. The hibachi show was fun and entertaining, one of the more enjoyable ones I've seen! My husband enjoyed the sake and the ginger salad was very fresh, dressing was great as well. The soup was clear with a clean taste. The hibachi fried rice was aromatic and buttery. However, the noodles were not cooked on the hibachi grill, it came out before any of our meat/vegetables were cooked. Our shrimp and filet mignon was seasoned with a little bit of salt and pepper and was cooked perfectly. We shared an order of the fancy roll and spider roll. Both were delicious and beautifully present! I would recommend both! The restaurant also gives you a small complimentary slice of cake after the meal which was a great added bonus! We were told the dessert was made in house and flavors rotate which is pretty neat. Overall a really good experience!

So, I can only vouch for my experience eating Japanese food to state that the tsukemen at Okiboru is just like what I have eaten in Japan, specifically the Kansai region. Being that I prefer tsukemen over ramen, dipping sauce over soup, over the years, I have definitely eaten my fair share of this type of noodle. The broth is a thick gravy that is meaty and dashi-rich at the same time. Not too salty, although slightly bitter at times. What really stands out at Okiboru is their thick and toothsome tsukemen noodles. The texture of these noodles alone keeps me returning. QR code menu and friendly service.
