The food is amazing! My husband and I ordered the spring rolls, crab rangoon and charbroiled combination vermicelli. Everything was delicious, fresh and hot! The rangoon actually had real crab in it! We moved up here a few years ago from a city with lots of options and we both agreed this is the best Vietnamese food we have ever had! And the service was great too! Pure seems to be the closest Vietnamese place to our location so we gave it a try. It is located in a strip mall behind a strip mall so keep looking it might be hard to spot! The dining room is huge and seems to have a full bar. The decor is not what I expected, it seems to be managed in the 2025 interior consultant genre. I like my Vietnamese restaurants a little more like mom is cooking. Service was pretty quick. We started off with the meat spring rolls. They were well cooked and tasty. I prefer the thin clear sauce for spring rolls but the thick red was ok. Megan had her usual BBQ pork over noodles. She said it tasted great but unusually the noodles were broken up and not long which made eating with chopsticks a challenge. I had the meatball and brisket pho. It tasted great but could have been hotter. All the accessories were there and very good. There are a number of pho specials that looked good but I wanted try traditional on our first visit. Great, fun place to go with friends. The spring rolls could have had more variety in them. They were mostly lettuce and pork. I guess they were geared for bland palates. I was expecting carrots and green onions and cilantro in them. Reason for 1 star removed. However, the pho broth was exceptional. I got the vegetarian broth and the flavors were so fresh and yummy. It was perfectly seasoned and with all the additional add ins suited me perfectly for lunch. The robot was a novel touch making it a fun place to go to with a group of friends. The waitress was pleasant and helpful in explaining the menu to those of us who never had Vietnamese food before. This restaurant is at the end of the Publix shopping center and kind of out of sight but was worth the trip. The decor is clean, new and simple. I stopped in on a Saturday at one and there were only a few fold so the service was quick and attentive. I'm not really a soup person so I went with a noodle dish. The flavors were mild and tasty. Even the one that came out looking a little wonky was tasty! Pho - veggie broth with vegetables and tofu!! I tasted it before adding everything in it and the base was pretty tasty by itself. I would never eat it that way but it's always good know where you're starting at. I added the bean sprouts, cilantro, lime juice and the kicker for me was the basil. I loved how that sweetness was unexpected with random bites!! I also added chili oil, the paste and sriracha. This place is very bad. All of the food is gross. The pho on its best day is average as far as pho goes but on a bad day you're eating hard rice and hard chicken cooked from a previous day. The other dishes are disputing, the curry dishes are watery like a soup with no authentic flavor. read more

I wish there was a more star option. This is the first time I've ever eaten Pho. I don't know if this is the best or the worst. All I can tell you is, as the first time eating Pho from this restaurant, it won't be my last. The beef broth was delicious and everything I hoped for. I got the brisket and filet mingon because I knew that I at least liked those two meats in the "Build Your Own." Let me tell you... the broth was rich and flavorful, the meat tender, and the basil, cilantro and bean sprouts were the perfect condiment. I would recommend this to any newbie that's wanting to try Vietnamese cuisine and I'd definitely get it again. I think I just found a new favorite. I also love that as a Uber Eats delivery option, they keep the broth separate from the meat, noodles and veg. Yes, i ate all by myself! My date was the restaurant haha I was out shopping today while my cousins was working and family was at a funeral. After I was done shopping I decided to try this place out since I was out by myself and wanted to eat before heading back out to my cousins house to prep dinner. I'm giving this place a 3 for overall experience. Place was clean and modern. They have a robot that brings the food to your table which is neat. Reminds me of the Korean BBQ places. Food: I ordered a small combination pho and fresh shrimp and pork spring rolls. I wanted to like this place but while the broth looked delicious and was pretty good, the noodles in my opinion tasted too rice-heavy. Not sure how to explain it but it didn't taste as fresh. The spring rolls was fine presentation wise but once I started to bite in, the stuffing fell out everywhere. Not a great experience. I did like the Vietnamese coffee with condense sweet milk. If you're in the area and want to try it, please do. You might like it but for me it was OK. We all have different pallets so what's not for me may be great for someone else. HAPPY EATING! read more

They got my order wrong 3 times and I was charged for an item I didn't receive. No one at my table was ever given a refill. After paying they brought the receipt back but not my card. The only thing good here is the pho everything else is subpar even water taste funny. read more

The broth was hot, noodles were stuck together (I assume this is normal), lots of onions, a little bit of basil, cilantro, bean sprouts and two jalapeño slices. I've had pho once and was instantly in love. I'd been craving it. The chicken broth was sweet, to my surprise. I didn't enjoy it at all. I actually poured it out and made some Lipton soup so I wouldn't have to toss all of it. I'll return to the first place I went to in Buford. Amazing! Smells so good! Their Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk is insanely good. Also highly recommend their pork egg rolls- I could eat 3 orders of them! I had the pho in the beef broth with rare sirloin- the anise flavoring is a little stronger than I'm used to from Seattle but still very good. Gone are the days of having to travel long distances for PHO because @pure_pho_gainesville opened their doors recently off of Dawsonville Hwy (by the CHICK FIL A). I had a large PHO beef bowl and also tried their crispy fried egg noodles with chicken... delicious!! I was laughing when I noticed this robot named Bella bringing my food out while blasting music I didn't want any of that attention but oh well ‍ I had their pork spring roll and although I enjoy it, it doesn't have enough pork. Two bites and you run out The peanut sauce it comes with is of course The one disappointment was their THAI TEA. It was too watery and the tapioca/boba were all stuck together so I didn't get to enjoy much of it with the drink. Service was friendly and the food came out fairly fast. I was there on a Friday around 6PM and it was very comfortable. If you're hot this summer and looking to cool off, try a bowl of PHO!! Recently I was looking for something to take home for dinner. My husband was in the mood for noodles, so I drove over to Pure Pho and Grill. I've been wanting try it, and this was my chance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When you dine in you have a choice what size bowl of pho you get. When you get take out you can only get large. They even add a spoon to the bag. You have a choice of beef, chicken or vegetable broth, and then a choice of two proteins. I chose beef for both of our broths, and added cooked filet mignonette and scallops for my husband and cooked filet mignon and shrimp for my own. I only had to wait a few minutes for it to be ready. The broth comes I. One container, and the rest comes in a plastic bowl. The rice noodles and proteins were packed in the bottom of the bowl, the bean sprouts are packed in one baggie, and the chopped onions and cilantro are in another. A packet of hoisin sauce and a pack of chili sauce are included. It's fantastic!! My only problem is that it was more than I could eat! Sadly, rice noodles don't make good leftovers. Chopsticks weren't included, but that's alright, we have our own. For dine in customers bottles of hoisin sauce and sriracha, and containers of chopsticks are on the tables. The pho broth was very flavorful, and I usually add a ton of stuff to mine, but 1. Not a lot of options on the table, 2. I didn't really need it. I was so excited to see that we were getting a new pho place in Gainesville! We went a few weeks ago, so I am not sure if anything has changed since then. Of course we had to order pho for our first visit, I ordered the small brisket and scallops pho. The brisket was very tender and the scallops were excellent, not rubbery or hard at all. I haven't had pho many times, but this is the best bowl I've had. We also ordered thai tea, which was so good. Goes perfectly with the pho. A cat robot delivers your food and it's so adorable. I only have two negatives. I know they just opened so it's understandable that they don't have much interior decor yet, but it does feel a bit empty. There was also no alcohol, but they have a bar setup, so I hope they will be getting a liquor license soon! I would love a lychee martini. read more
