Not Crispy, Not spicy. Shameful lol This is NOT Korean fried chicken like we loved back home in NYC. Even spots in NJ did it better. There are so many chain restaurants like Bon Chon that get it right. This is so overpriced and extremely underwhelming!!! How is the chicken not crispy? Came here on Super Bowl Sunday 2025 and was pleasantly surprised by this new location in Buford of BBQ chicken. Service was fast and efficient and I was able to call in my order with no problems. DO NOT GO!!! Honestly spend your money somewhere you're valued and kindness is reciprocated. I never write reviews but in this case I will. First time trying this place for lunch and I ordered a Half Chicken original and a Medium original spicy wings for pickup. Transaction was quick and left a tip after noticing the newly opened signs. Came back to work and ate the original spicy and it was good but bit into the original flavored one to compare and it tasted..... cheesy. Not overpowering but definitely there and definitely not ignorable because who in their right mind likes a cheese taste in their fried chicken? I thought I was going crazy and tried another piece and it was the same terrible undertones within the flavor. Had a coworker try it and he told me the same thing. Ended up throwing it away later as the owner wanted me to take another hour away from my shift (30 min one way) to bring him the chicken to taste it himself to see if there was anything wrong??? It was at that point I knew I should have kept my tip and spent half the price ($30+) at my usual lunch spot. Called the shop and spoke with the manager Phillip. Told me to send a picture of it because he can supposedly identify the breading of the chicken to decide if it was cooked wrong, but I already told him on the phone the breading looked fine, the flavor was not. I will attach the screenshots to the conversation but note it was cordial at first, but slowly became a "that's impossible" defense than any meaningful resolution other than making me spend more of my time, after spending my money, to resolve this. Notice how there is still no reply to my last message in the screenshots even after 4 hours. The quality of the food has remained solid, and for that, I'm grateful. However, my recent visit left me with a less-than-satisfying experience. I placed my order and waited patiently for about 20 minutes. During that time, someone else came in, placed a similar order, and was served before me. That felt a little off, but I brushed it aside. To pass the time, I started watching a soccer match--Colombia vs. Argentina--that happened to be playing on the TV in the dining area. I was genuinely engaged in the game. Out of nowhere, a staff member came out from behind the counter and switched the channel. I told him I was watching it, and without an apology or even real acknowledgment, he muttered, "I have to change the channels," and carried on. No explanation. No courtesy. It was as if I wasn't even there. A few minutes later, the same attendant handed me my food and thanked me for coming, as if nothing had happened. While I still appreciate the quality of the food, I left feeling disrespected as a customer. Simple courtesy--acknowledging a guest, explaining a change, or offering a brief apology--goes a long way in hospitality. I hope this was just an off moment for the staff, but it certainly affected the overall experience. Respect and service should match the quality of the food. read more

Let me share my first and last visit to this place. We were in the area and looking for wings. Here is the deal breaker. If ordering a large order of wings they must all be the same flavor. WHAT? Then I was told that in order to get two flavors, I could order the combo. However half HAD TO BE THEIR ORIGINAL WINGS, AND THE OTHER HALF I WAS LIMITED TO 3 FLAVORS. WTF. We did order a large of one flavor, but I have never had a wing place tell me I could not get 2 flavors.
