Went on a Sunday night and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't busy. We got seated right away. The staff was a really nice older lady who took care of us. Plenty of seating for large groups and small groups. Also, I like how the rooms were separated into individual rooms so it's easier for your group to have some privacy! Also, the food did take longer to come out, but it was so worth the wait because everything that came out was Delicious!!! The only con would be that maybe because we ordered so much food that they forgot an order, and that it also suddenly got busy, but they were able to make it and bring it out. Went here with the folks because there was ad in the Korean paper for special they had for the June. They had Hae Jang Guk (beef "hangover soup" with vegetable and blood cubes), Dak Gae Jang (spicy chicken and vegetable soup - kind of like Yook Gae Jang) and a Mackerel and Soy Bean stew combo. When we got there we were told they didn't get their delivery of onions so the specials were not available. I tried to order Jjajangmyun (noodles with black bean sauce) - of course they were out of that too. Again, no onions. So I ordered the lunch combo of 10 chicken wings with a side of Cole slaw and French fries. It was definitely a lunch portion. I asked if I could get all flats and was told that they're mixed, so no. The 10 wing combo was $15. The wings were small and I don't think they were great quality. They all had that blackish coagulated blood near the bone. I know it's safe to eat but I don't like the look of it. The wings were also the size of my finger. They were tiny. The fries were good but there weren't that many. I got lemon pepper on naked wings. You can also get them breaded. My dad's mackerel and soy bean stew combo wasn't plentiful. It was a small mackerel filet fried and the stew was so small. Half the bowl was empty. But for $10 you wouldn't expect much I guess. My mom's Jjampong (spicy seafood noodle soup) was plentiful for $11. Not a lot of seafood or vegetables but enough. I had a taste. It wasn't great but not bad. I would eat it again. Overall my dad says a second visit isn't warranted but maybe for other foods. The $15 wing lunch special is definitely Italy worth the price. Other regular Korean dishes are priced right for lunch I think. Also, this place is called Tudari - CM chicken I think is on the bottom of the sign. Parking seemed tight but not impossible. I'm not sure if it's because we were a takeout order and they decided to give us their failed pieces. But this was ridiculous. My husband and I could not finish. Rebranded to ChiMaek Chicken. I used to frequent this chain and would have a good experience but with new management it seems the quality and service has gone down a bit. My girlfriend and I got the lunch specials with tenders, fries, coleslaw and a drink. The portion sizes are on the rather smaller end despite the costs being similar to a normal serving of the chicken. The fries were a bit soggy and had little to no seasoning. The chicken and the sauce were crisp and had a good balance of spice and seasoning however. The interior still looks similar to before, very little rebranding and would most likely not visit this establishment again because of the amount of similar chain restaurants nearby. read more

Ordered from uber eats the 3pc drumstick combo. The order was supposed to come with drumsticks, rice, fries, salad, spring roll and a soda. It arrives with no rice, no spring rolls, and no soda. I called the restaurant and told them my order was wrong and the lady who answered the phone argues with me that they don't do google orders when I kept saying uber. Then she ask her someone else about a uber order and they confirmed I ordered. Then tells me that the uber menu is wrong and they don't sell what was on the menu. Horrible customer service. If you're going to have your business on uber eats you should make sure the menu is correct. I also paid the price of what uber had it for and the receipt showed a cheaper price. First time I got the lunch special which was chicken tenders ( many options ) fries or rice slaw and a spring roll it was called but more like a Rangoon style I think. Flavor I choose was spicy garlic chicken was crispy and a large portion , flavor was different not a lot of garlic and I think k heavy soy but was really good . Choong Man Chicken is my favorite Korean fried chicken place by far and this location definitely fits the bill, as expected. I've never been to the Suwanee location but I've been to Duluth and Midtown several times so I was as excited as ever. Two friends and I ordered the Snow Onion Tenders, Garlic Spicy Chicken Wings, and the Garlic Soy Tikkudak Wings. The Snow Onion Tenders were just .. unseasoned chicken tenders with creamy onion on top .. not my favorite at all and seemed plain. The Garlic Spicy Chicken Wings were fantastic. We only got a medium level of spice which was tolerable. A good crunchiness and great sauce. Meat was nice and juicy .. loved it. The Garlic Soy Tikkudak ........... LET ME TELL YOU. This is the best thing I've ever had. The flavor was incredible, as expected, but the texture was really something else. I believe Tikkudak is fried and then baked for extra crispiness and crunch and you can really tell the difference. I think it's also baked in a charcoal over because it is nice and smoky, which only enhances the already-great garlic soy flavor. I can't believe I've never had Tikkudak before but ... now it's the only thing I think about. Once again, HIGHLY recommend coming to Choong Man Chicken (any of their locations) for the best Korean fried chicken in and around Atlanta. Today is my second time going to Chong Man Chicken. I ordered Take Out. I previously went to the Duluth location to dine in and loved it. The two ladies that were working here were so nice and they have good tips on ordering. The Fried Korean Chicken is amazing. Tastes so good and there are many options on how it is cooked and and how it is served. They have regular Fried Chicken, Garlic Soy Chicken, Snow Onion topped Fried Chicken, and much more. When you order Whole Chicken, you can do half and half. This means that one half can be one chicken off the menu and the other half can be another chicken off the menu. I brought the order home. The Snow Onion had the onions and creamy toppings in separate containers. When you order this as dine in, then it is served with onions and cream on top of chicken. I put the Onions and cream on top of the other chickens and it was so good. If you have never been to Choong Man, then give this place a try. You will get hooked and be coming back. This Chicken will be great for serving today for NFL Playoffs or for Super Bowl Sunday. I bought enough to last two nights. I will be enjoying it when 6pm kickoff occurs Sunday Night. read more

I called about 30 minutes ago to place one order, I was told it would be ready in ten minutes. I'm here 30 minutes later expecting the order to be ready, but they didnt even start the order.. I waited ten minutes and received my order. I asked if they prepare the order after getting paid regardless of calling, he said no, they were just really busy.. I also work at a restaurant and understand a busy rush of customers. But after 3:30, restaurants are generally slow. It takes less than 8 minutes to cook tenders in a deep fryer and dip in the sauce. When I got here, a group if three people were eating inside. Even if they were busy, they should let customers know that the orders will take longer, like 20~30 minutes. I'm in a hurry but I'm a little annoyed that I had to wait after being told it would be ready in ten minutes. I won't be returning here and don't recommend it to anyone who is in a rush. read more

This has become my go to place for Korean style chicken. Great location and easy to access, right off of 85 hwy, and in same plaza as 770. I enjoy their yangyum chicken which is a bit spicy and covered in a tangy red sauce and their original which is my son's favorite. They are following all covid coronavirus safety measures and parking is easy peezy. For a family of four we usually get 2 whole birds which fills us up and leaves enough for leftovers the next day. The styles that are out of this world are the Garlic Spicy chicken, the hot snow onion, and the Red Hot pepper chicken. Be warned that if you order it spicy or it is noted as being spicy, it REALLY is! Crispy, strong flavored food at a decent price. The serving size is quite large.This place is where I want I would take my friends if they said they wanted chicken. A few other notes.. They start you with radish, that is sweet and crunchy. This location isn't really the best, but their chicken is still very delicious. I always get the snow onion and spicy garlic, and they never disappoint. This is now their 3rd location. First one being in Duluth, and 2nd WAS in johns creek(now closed). The wait time was a bit longer than expected, even though there weren't that many people. I came in fairly close to their grand opening date so they still didnt have any beer (liquor license). I appreciated that they gave us an extra order of fries to make up for the inconvenience though. If you go before the end of January, they should still be doing buy 1 get 1 free. It's always best to order the whole chicken for this special. Not sure if this location will do that great, but I'm sure it'll do much better than the Johns creek location, which was always empty whenever I went. Also, don't forget to ask for pickled radish to eat with your chicken. The radish at this location was way too sweet, but I hope it was just that one time I went. They came with some pickled radish cubes. Greasy, unhealthy, expensive food. Nothing to balance the grease or protein. No healthy items on the menu. At $30 for the order, it is a rip off. I think I found my favorite KFC place in metro Atlanta. There are great KFC places already. I think Choong Man raised the bar. As most of the reviewers mentioned, their Snow Onion Fried Chicken is probably their best flavor. This is probably going to be my go-to fried chicken. The Snow Onion is your typical Korean Fried Chicken with a delicious, sweet, mayo based sauce with a bunch of slice raw onions. The fried chicken itself is the star. The chicken was fried perfectly. It was nice, light, and crackling. It had a great, crispy skin with a juicy interior. It was a solid fried chicken to start. Then you add the Snow Onions. It doesn't seem like a likely pairing, but it adds more to the already great fried chicken. The onions and the sweet mayo sauce is a great combination of sweet and savory. I also tried their Tikkudak. Tikkudak is their fried chicken baked in Charcoal. So it comes out with a smokey flavor. The smokiness was subtle. But I liked the sauce, the soy garlic. It was spicy, sweet, and savory. I would say this is one of the more spicier version of the sweet spicy glaze that other KFC places use. I liked it. But the Snow Onion blew it away. On their menu, they don't offer 1/2 chicken options. But they actually do. You just have to ask them. I think 2 hungry people can do a whole chicken. Getting half chickens is a great way to try different flavors they have. Unlike other places, there is no potato that comes with the chicken. It's just chicken! I like that. I don't get the unsatisfied feeling of biting into what I think is chicken and finding out it's a freaking potato. They don't have much choice for sides. You get fries, curly fries, cole slaw, and that's about it. All chicken comes with pickled radishes. The cole slaw was interesting. It had an umami flavor to it. They added a certain bit of "Asianess." It was interesting. Don't expect a traditional, American cole slaw. The interior is like a typical, trendy, hip, Korean restaurants. Like most trendy Korean places, it looks like a fun, party atmosphere. It seems like a popular place for the young kids to come and enjoy some great fried chicken. read more
