Amazing vegan donut choices and not to mention the coffee Service was fast and they brightened the customers morning Lots of space to sit and enjoy your donut and coffee. Totally recommend it!
I'm a happy regular. I work in the area Tuesdays and Thursdays and this is my afternoon pick me up. Mimi has got my drink order down, blueberry almond milk matcha latte iced. Starbucks can't compare! I originally came in because they have mochi donuts on their menu. I went through all the flavors and taste tested them with the boyfriend since they were his current favorite treat. When the kick moved on, I started trying the matcha lattes. Gotta say the blueberry is the best, it's like fruity pebbles. They have much more in store in drinks and treats. I've come in and a man was sharing his guilty pleasure with coworkers and had ordered a mixed box of donuts. Oh the choices! Beautifully made with great pricing. Definitely a gem to local business and the community.
Friendly Donuts is some of the best! We have been here only a few times, but I have always left happy! They are open 24 hours and they are known to offer many VEGAN options. This is great for those with food allergies. The location is well lit and has a decent size parking. The inside has bench seating and nice decor for photo ops. The staff here were efficient and hospitable. On a recent late night visit we scooped up a few vegan donuts and pastries for my wife and I saw a Dubai Chocolate I could not pass up! The vegan donuts all tasted great and that Dubai one was amazing. I love coming out here to Friendly Donuts for a delicious treat and because my wife can enjoy an array of vegan donut selections. Thanks, Friendly Donuts! ( ^_^)b
Orange County, meet your new local donut dealer. Friendly is not the only good thing about this donut joint. What's also excellent is the variety of delicious donuts they have to offer. Donuts, cronuts, and mochi donuts .. Friendly Donuts has got them all. And the best part? They are very affordable compared to other fancy donut shops around. I came to pick up a dozen donuts to take to a friend's house this morning. I decided to upgrade to a dozen mochi donuts when I found out a dozen was only $32. I've tried donuts here in the past to know that they are tasty as well. In a time when most prices are inflated, I appreciate that Friendly Donuts has kept their prices fair. That mixed with a variety of scrumptious donuts and friendly service, you have found your new local donut dealer!
bThey have so many unique , regular and vegan, donuts, + friendly staff. Good matcha, too! I'll be back soon to see what they've come up with.
Over a decade ago I went to Friendly Donuts in Orange and I was so underwhelmed. Recently when my boyfriend mentioned seeing Friendly Donuts from a YouTuber he follows, I was open to trying it again. It's been so long. I was rooting for them to improve. I was optimistic as we pulled up into their little parking lot. There was a lot of improvements to the donut shop. Definitely new paint, new fun back drop, a wide selection when we came during the weekend. We ordered a Canadian Favorite ($4.50), a Pistachio Donut ($3.25), a Maple Cruller (Promo $1), and a Dozen Donut Holes ($4). We were full from lunch but we wanted to try the donut holes right away.. .. .. ugh... disappointment... so dense. Not a fan. My boyfriend ate the pistachio donut said it was not bad, better than the donut holes. His theory is maybe they do better cake donuts than yeast donuts. I microwaved the Canadian favorite which is the maple with the bacon and it wasn't hard since it was warm, flavor was good but just about as good as all the other donut shops. Oh the seating the did have along the side of the little shop was a bit tight and the surface could use some cleaning. It had a lot of donut crumbles from previous patrons. I feel like the latest visit is a smidge better than my last visit. I do see improvements but I wouldn't go out of my way for this place. It's probably an okay option for locals. And I still don't feel like they're friendly... sorry when you name your place friendly donuts, you set up expectations for your staff to be friendly.
Stopped by Friendly Donuts on my way back home from a road trip. I'm so glad we stopped, because they had a nice selection of vegan donuts for my son and regular donuts for myself. Every donut we tried was delicious. I like that the donuts do not taste artificial and the flavors really come through! My favorite donut flavor as the Ube! Very clean inside and staff were helpful plus friendly!
Very good and unique donuts with soo many choices. Me and my friend went late at night and the donuts still tasted fresh
Delish donuts & very creative flavors. Some of our favs are their French cream, tiramisu, flan donuts, Boston cream, and the mochi donuts! And so many more- chef creations & classic donuts- something for everyone. Love our local donut shop! Definitely worth a visit.
Awesome donut shop! The cutest yummiest donuts! And everyone is so friendly! My kids and I love this place for a special treat. They also have gluten free donuts and mochi donuts.
This place is amazing! Steven answered so many questions about all the different donuts and helped direct our choices. My daughter loved her animal cookie donut and the Nutella strawberry dossant was bomb!
The dough isn't too sweet, but isn't as airy as some of the other donuts I've had in OC. I can see why it's rated higher than Oliboli donuts. The maple donut frosting is out of this world good. Long John's were more airy than the main circular donuts . Cake donuts dry

I was craving a mochi donut and found this place online. They also have vegan donuts on the menu! I had the white chocolate guava mochi donut and the vegan pistachio donut. The mochi donut was delicious. It was chewy and had an airy texture. The vegan donut was tasty as well. I loved that everything on it was pistachio flavored. The pistachios that topped off the donut gave it a nice crunch. Thankful for the flavor recommendations. I am looking forward to the next visit. read more

This cute donut shop is open 24 hours, has plenty of parking and is so cute inside. There are tables outside to enjoy your doughy goodies. And the workers are really nice, so friendly and helpful. I came through with my boyfriend and I had one item in mind: the spiral croissant. When I got there, my heart was broken as they were sold out of them by 9 am. We got some other donuts and they were so good. I came back a few days later and I was able to get 2 of the spiral donuts. I ate it the next day and it was good, just not as good as i hoped it would be because I LOVE croissants and their flakey crunchyness. When is a good time to have a fresh one that's crunchy? Overall their donuts are bomb. My fave was the strawberry Nutella dossant. I will be back! read more

Food: spectacular gourmet donuts. This establishment has such interesting donut flavors and have an extensive vegan selection as well. My fiancé and I tried a half dozen donuts including some of their vegan flavors and could not tell the difference! They are so fluffy and light and definitely worth the money. Service: The staff is great! They answered all of our questions about their different flavors and took care of us right away. They were friendly and professional. Ambiance: The atmosphere and decor in this restaurant is so fun. It is a mixture of a vintage donut shop with the fun bright colors and neon lights of the 80's. It's a great place to take the family for a sweet treat! read more

We were in the area for an early basketball game, and we came to the closes donuts shop to the sports center. Wow! Such a cute and busy place. To our surprise, this place was the place to go in town for donuts. Parking is very limited and small, and the place is in a corner spot, so kind of tricky. So be prepared to park somewhere else during the am donut run. Although they were jammed packed, their employees are very efficient and on it. We didn't wait too long to get our donuts. They have so many, the traditional and the super fancy. As we drove in my daughter was mentioning that she was craving mochi donuts, you can only find those at places were they have only mochii donuts. Well to her surprise, they even have those too. She was so excited! They even have vegan donuts! I ordered the traditional dozen for the kiddos, and then we ordered a few gourmet one, and one vegan! It was so good, pistachio vegan donut. Although we didn't order any drinks, they have expresó machine, and cute pink one, so they offer all kinds of drinks! Oh, we can't forget how cute it's inside too! Sad, that we will only come here when in the area. read more

This is such a cute little donut shop. The employee who greeted us was nice, patient and helpful. We took our time because they have SO many pretty donuts to choose from and she was sweet the whole time. We chose random ones (see pictures) and bought the last two gluten free donuts they had (she packed them separately for us) I can't speak for the rest of the donuts (my family had mixed reviews about them, some LOVED them, the rest thought they were just okay) I ate a maple gluten free donut, and thought it was alright. Tasted more like pound cake with donut icing on it than an actual donut. Still cool that they have the option to buy gluten free ones, though. They also have mochi donuts (contains wheat) and vegan donuts (contains nuts) for anyone interested. 4.5 read more

THE MOST AMAZING DONUT PLACE EVER! I cannot recommend this place more. The donuts are so pretty and taste even better. They have monthly flavors which I love and are super creative. The presentation on all the donuts is immaculate and the prices are cheap too. The workers are super efficient and welcoming. My favorite donut is probably either the apple or blueberry fritter (they are huge). Every-time I go up to Orange County, I have to stop here. Any seed oils used?
Sorry I didn't ask. I don't know but they're really good. It's vegan
Do the vegan donuts have soy in them?
Hi Mary, we do have soy in our products. Let us know if any other allergies we should be aware of ! Thanks !
Do they have the viral spiral crossiants here?
They did when I went in May, but they sell out quickly. I think you can always call and ask when the next batch will be ready.
What's the best time of day to come to get the freshest donuts?
What kind of sugar & salt is used in the vegan donuts?
Are the mochi donuts gluten free & vegan?
Vegan, but contain wheat. So not gluten-free
Gluten free donuts?
Do you guys have donuts that are both gluten and vegan?
they said they have them on the weekends!!
Do they have a nutrition chart?
I don't believe I have seen one. I'm going to say no but you could always call and ask. They are very very friendly there!
Are there any vegan donuts that also have no vanilla. I'm also allergic to vanilla 😩?
I'm not sure but they're super nice, they could maybe accommodate that for you. Worth a shot to call and ask.
How much are the mochi donuts? I am looking for a few dozen for a drive thru bday party.
About $28.
Are you guys open on Christmas?
We are open 24 hours Christmas Eve and Christmas Day we are open till 3PM.
Have they added any vegan donuts to the menu?
They just recently put up a sign saying "Vegan donuts". So yes, I believe they do.
Do you carry any gluten free donuts?
I called them and they said they don't at the moment. But they are working on a recipe!
What is ube?
Ube is a purple yam -- It has a smooth texture and a mild, sweet flavor that has been compared to white chocolate or a cross between vanilla and pistachio. That beautiful purple color is its natural color.
