This coming weekend Jan 24 & 25, @5thavebagelrytustin is officially grand opening and giving out 100 free bagels w/ smear to first 100 in line! In additional, there BOGO Free Bagel Sandwich all weekend long! Woohoo! 5th Ave Bagelry Tustin has a large selection of bagel flavors but they do sell out quickly. If you are feeling a bit more hungry, their breakfast bacon, egg and cheese on your choice of bagel or their breakfast burritos just hits. Not only it looks delicious, you wanna devour it ASAP. Their drink menu is vast with classic drip, espresso based drinks, milk teas, fresh fruit smoothies to fun ice blended drinks!

Came in this morning for some breakfast and little did we know it was their first day of their soft opening. Place inside is fairly spacious and clean. Not everything was available and their pastries area seemed a little bare, but it was day one so I'm sure they'll be up and running in a couple of weeks for their grand opening. I ordered an everything bagel with egg and cheese, and I added avocado. Today only they were offering a free coffee with purchase so I had some of their coffee (regular drip). The bagel sandwich itself was good, not out of this world but decent. Service was kind and friendly. I'd come back here again

I came in for the grand opening celebration. I was customer #2 which is cool. I was #2 ladt week at another grand opening. I got a free Sourdough bagel with cream cheese. I also got a ham and cheese Croissant and an Eearl Grey tea. I really enjoyed the soft Bagel loaded with cream cheese. The Croissant was light and flakey. It was delicious. Everyone here is so nice. The environment is warm and inviting. This is a nice place.

Came for the grand opening this past weekend and we got 2 bagel sandwiches to try! Both were loaded and the bagel were very good! My favorite was the turkey and bacon which has came with tomato slices as well. The staff were very friendly and this place has a great vibe!

Quick service and was here for their grand opening. They had a Bogo deal on bagels. Interestingly they have a Spanish Parmesan bagel. Although they don't have any vegan cream cheese alternatives, they're still quite a variety in bagel options and if you don't want a bagel, you could get a roll as part of more of their hefty specialty sandwiches. Besides breakfast items that even have more of your healthy fruit smoothies and muffins.

Just tried 5th Ave Bagelry and I already know this is going to be a repeat spot. Huge bagel selection, so I'd definitely recommend coming early if you want the full lineup. Everything looked fresh and there were so many choices. Here's what I ordered: * Veggie deluxe bagel sandwich on poppy (so good) * Whole wheat bagel with jalapeño cream cheese (my absolute favorite -- perfectly spicy and creamy) * Chicken salad bagel sandwich on sourdough * Fresh red juice * True blueberry smoothie The jalapeño cream cheese alone is worth coming back for, and the veggie bagel sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and filling without feeling heavy. I also loved that they offer freshly made juices and smoothies, which makes it easy to balance out a hearty bagel. Great spot for breakfast or lunch, whether you're in the mood for something classic or a little lighter. Really happy to have this place in Tustin -- highly recommend!

Excited about this place opening so close to home! All of the employees there were so friendly and helpful. You can tell they're getting into the groove of things with this soft opening before their grand opening next weekend. All items we ordered were solid, and the three kiddos in our party also gave their stamps of approval. Our orders: Fifth Ave Bagelry sandwich(#1) on a garlic bagel- this was open faced and at first I was surprised that they draped the lox on top of all the other toppings. In the end I realized I actually like how it kept everything embedded in the cream cheese instead of sliding/rolling away (capers/onions/tomatoes can get unruly lol) Heavenly Veggie sandwich(#2) on a jalapeño cheese bagel- loved that they include sprouts! The bagel had a nice bouncy texture but was easy to bite into. I have high spice tolerance, so I thought this had very low spice level (some might like that fact). Jalapeno cheese bagel with regular cream cheese- my sibling loved it Rainbow bagel w/ strawberry cream cheese- the kids loved it, said the cream cheese reminds them of yogurt. Didn't try ourselves so no idea what that means. You can choose to take under-7-yr-old opinions seriously or not at all. Chocolate chip bagel with regular cream cheese- kids liked this one, too! Ice strawberry matcha drink- good! Strong matcha taste and pretty sweet. Next time might try to ask if we can customize sweetness level Royal red juice- sibling said it tastes exactly like what is listed in the ingredients and says now she knows where to go if she wants something healthy Miscellaneous observations- place is nice and clean and brand new, one unisex bathroom available in the back, has indoor tables and chairs In conclusion, we will be back soon to try other items on their menu!

    Lox and bagel

It's my second visit here, and the experience hasn't improved. **Lox and Bagel**: The bagel was undercooked and of poor quality. The everything bagel was overloaded with seeds, which made it unappetizing. The capers were at the bottom, diminishing the flavor, and there was an excessive amount of onions. It also wasn't toasted enough. **Plain Bagel with Cream Cheese and Jam**: Again, the bagel was undercooked and lacked flavor, leading to a stomachache. There was far too much cream cheese and jam, overwhelming any potential taste. The orange juice was decent, but it felt out of place in a New York setting, served like a Boba drink. Overall, this was probably the worst bagel I've ever had.

This is my 5th time already within 3 weeks. Best bagel sandwiches in this city. Awesome

    Bad avocado

My second time coming to this location and I was expecting the same quality of my bagel from the first time unfortunately it wasn't! They threw a brown avocado on my bagel which made the bagel taste nasty! Service was ok! I'm going to keep going to my usual location in Stanton

Upon entering, I was warmly greeted with a friendly "Hi, welcome." I highly recommend the jalapeño bagel with plain cream cheese.

Veggie bagel with Cream cheese, avocado, tomato and lemon pepper on egg bagel. Delicious.

It was very good but here is my one criticism. I went at 11:30 am, before lunch and they were out of many flavors of bagels. I don't know if that was it for the day but it was too early to have that few bagels available. The veggie bagel was delicious. I would order it again. They were out of sesame so I had an egg bagel. While I was there two more people came in and wanted sesame so maybe they will make more in the future. The people there were super nice. I would definitely go back again.

    Baked goods!

Wow! I visited 5th Ave Bagelry for the first time today (2/14/26) and it did not disappoint. The sourdough bagel with cream cheese was outstanding, and the blueberry smoothie was the perfect refreshing treat. Everything tasted premium and fresh. I'll definitely be back soon! Thank you to the staff that was friendly and attentive.

Lots of space to sit, love the ambiance feel like you were in an old train station. Service was great, I had questions about some of the coffees and they took their time explaining it to me. For food they only had pastries but for coffee and matcha lots of interesting options. They have beans from various parts of the World, but mainly Norway!!! We got really excited about this. We ordered a Volcano Latte and a regular latte. The Volcano latte had an explosion of flavors topped with a smoked salted foam out of this world. My new favorite. I will keep on coming to try more things while in town.

There are definitely more affordable options in the area for just as good quality. Service: My biggest gripe was the service, despite a sizeable line there is no priority to get patrons checked out with their drinks. I noticed 3 baristas all talking and taking it slow while orders were piling up. It took my one drink 15 minutes to make. There wasn't even much small talk at the register, so I'm confused why it took so long to get people's orders. Parking: parking is no longer free at the circle. Which personally, makes me less likely to choose play coffee in the future. They used to have a dedicated parking area for quick pick up orders for this cafe, but now it is $4 per hour. If my drink is nearly $10 I'm not paying an extra $4 just to order take out. OC has no shortage in cafes, similar menus can be found at Hola Adios in Tustin, and Kei coffee house in FV is a great option as well; all with free parking.

The coffee is delicious when served sweet and creamy and the staff is always nice to adjust your drink if you don't like it. I typically order the Iced Mint Mojito as its fresh, sweet, delicious and comes with fresh mint! This time I opted for the new seasonal Cashew Cocoa. This drink was also delicious, but a little too sweet for me, and if you don't like cashew milk I would opt for a different beverage. The pastries are on the sweeter side, so keep that in mind if you order the almond croissant or cinnamon roll, but the flavor is there. The blueberry muffin was probably my favorite as it was so moist and paired well with my coffee. This Orange establishment is nice and offers games (like most Philz') so you and your friends/family can play, while enjoying a coffee or pastry. The company even offers used coffee ground to take home for your garden - a full recycle moment! The staff is always pleasant and friendly, and each barista usually has a name tag in front of their station. If the place is busy (and it can be busy) you can also order online for a quick grab and go! The coffee, staff, and atmosphere keep me visiting the delicious Philz Coffee. Thank you!

Every time I come in, there are 5 to 6 employees behind the counter, but more than half of them are just standing around talking and laughing. It creates a distracting environment for the few people who are actually trying to work, and it shows in how slow and disorganized everything feels. What really pushed me to write this review is how often the app is completely inaccurate. I'll get a notification saying my drink is ready, only to show up and find that it hasn't even been started yet. Meanwhile, the person who is supposed to be making drinks is busy chatting with coworkers instead of focusing on orders. This isn't a one-time thing either. It's become a pattern, and nothing seems to improve. Long waits, lack of urgency, and poor communication make the whole experience frustrating, especially when you're paying premium prices for coffee. I used to enjoy coming here, but the repeated lack of professionalism and attention to customers has really turned me off. Hopefully management steps in and addresses this, because right now it feels like customers are not a priority at all.

Still, I decided to give this place a second chance (no angry neighbor this time), and I was glad I did! PARKING: There's street parking around the neighborhood - I parked on Almond Ave so I wasn't in front of a house. The spots right outside the shop were 30 minute only. If you can't find parking there's probably tons as you go east if you're willing to walk. WHAT I ORDERED: Pistachio cream cold brew THE DRINK: Amazing. I've had my share of acidic or bitter cold brews, and this was not one of them. The cream was perfectly sweetened and flavored . SERVICE: Exceeded my expectations. The baristas when I came in were very bubbly and answered my questions and gave me suggestions, and were funny too! I wish I got their names, but they were working on Monday early afternoon - I hope they get some recognition. We also got some samples of the food items (which may have swayed me to get the turkey panini next time I come in). Even with the experience I had above a while back ago, I remember going in to let the baristas know and they were very understanding and apologetic, which I really appreciated. VIBES: Probably one of the top coffee shops to get work done in OC. Here's my work-from-coffee-shop checklist: * OUTLETS: So many. Not at the tables downstairs but in the private rooms and at a lot of the seating upstairs. * WIFI/INTERNET: Yes, good speed * BATHROOMS: Yes, clean * WATER: You can ask for free water * VOLUME: Music was a little bit loud but not terrible * SEATING AVAILABILITY: Lotsssss of seats when I came on a Monday late morning-afternoon. Very cool that there were private rooms (which can be reserved two hours in advance if you call them), tables, bar-style seating upstairs, and most importantly, comfy couches!! * LAPTOP FRIENDLINESS: No restrictions BOTTOM LINE: I can't believe I almost missed out on this gem.
