A smallish place, there was a little bit of a wait for our table. The menu proved us wrong! The drink selections were extensive: Juices and sodas, but also agua frescas, smoothies, iced coffees, coffees, cocoas, lattes, and shakes. Lots of breakfast and lunch choices. I ordered the Country style fried steak and eggs, which came with hash browns and 2 fluffy buttermilk pancakes. The Iced coffee horchata came with a cookie! Hubby got the Chorizo and eggs with corn tortillas and a Mango smoothie. Our waitress dropped off 2 small pan dulce for us to start, which was a nice surprise. Good portions, reasonable prices, unrushed service, and we were able to find a parking spot in the busy shopping center.

We came in for a birthday breakfast and eventually got our food... emphasis on eventually. I went with the avocado toast + sunny-side-up egg, someone else ordered the breakfast sandwich with fruit which was served with grilled peach that we mistook for potatoes (yum). Everyone else went for the breakfast burrito, so we basically covered the breakfast menu. The verdict? Food was okay. Portions were pretty standard: not skimpy, but definitely not "I need a nap after this" generous. The churro latte, though? Yummy! That one understood the assignment. The dirty horchata was just okay, nothing to write home about. Overall, a cute spot with plenty of character and nostalgia, but the long wait made it hard to get overly excited about the meal. Maybe we caught them on a slow morning but at 8:30am we were the first ones to arrive ... but maybe breakfast just needed to marinate a little longer. Would I go back? The owners were working that Saturday, and we learned they have been in business for 11 years. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The meat in both sandwiches was tender, and all of the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. I also enjoyed the homemade macaroni salad, and the oatmeal cookie--made without raisins--was a light and tasty treat that completed a delicious lunch. The Pork Belly was spectacular. The pork was tender and flavorful and the cucumbers, cilantro, onions and jalapeños made it a flavor delight. All on a delicious roll. Just writing this makes me want another one! However, there's one thing you do not want to miss. Their newest addition is Salt Bread. These are sold 4 to a package and and are like the yummiest croissant you've ever tasted. I was sitting waiting for my order to be completed when the owner cam out with a bit of one on a fork. I was hooked. They're already baked, but the instructions are to put them in an air fryer (we used a small convection toaster oven) for 2-4 minutes at 350. I also like them split and toasted. They're fantastic! You'll want to put The Sandwich Society on your restaurant list! (And you'll want Salt Bread in your pantry too!).

Egg & Cheese (on egg bagel) - 8/10 good but tastes a bit bland compared to the flavors you get with the veggie bagel. Golden Juice - 10/10 Green Juice - 10/10 They make the juice in front of you, you watch them take all the fruits/veggies out and juice them. They taste great, and reasonably priced. Regular Coffee (vanilla nut)- 10/10 I've been trying to get back to drinking coffee black and this coffee is really good just by itself, it's hot and you pour it yourself, they have a few different choices including decaf. All in all I think this has become my new favorite place for bagels, I only wish it was in a better location since this plaza can get super busy especially during the weekends and finding parking can sometimes be hard. It is located in the busy dollar tree and home goods plaza. The workers were nice and quick. The inside feels like a bagel/donut/coffee shop. As for the bagel, the free one can have either plain or chive cream cheese. So I had to try the chives. The bagel tastes fresh and homemade. It was perfectly toasted with crispy exterior and a chewy center. The cream cheese was refreshing with each bite. I liked how there were fresh chunks of chives in there! My only thing was half of my bagel was bare. Most of the everything toppings have fallen off. But for the bites with all the toppings attached, it was flavorful! I can really taste the garlic bits (if you are into that sort of thing). As for the coffee, the sweetener reminds me of a milk tea. Even the packaging. Part of me feels like it's missing some boba in there. It wasn't what I expected but not bad either. They also offer a large variety of juices. Overall, great neighborhood bagel shop to try.

Breakfast has always felt somewhat predictable to me eggs, pancakes, French toast, maybe some potatoes and even the higher-end brunch establishments, while they may use more refined ingredients, sometimes only manage to give the classics a slight edge over your run-of-the-mill breakfast joint. Then I experienced Santa Ana Brunch Club. When I say this was the best breakfast I have ever had, that is honestly an understatement. And yes, that comes with one very important disclaimer: no seafood* I'm allergic. Everything was phenomenal. And I mean everything. Most restaurants treat eggs like a supporting character a side dish, a filler, something added to make the plate appear more substantial. Santa Ana Brunch Club clearly sees them differently. The scrambled eggs were impossibly fluffy, beautifully seasoned, and carried an original flavor profile that was immediately distinguishable from any other eggs I've encountered. They weren't there to fill space; they were part of the composition. Now, what did I order? Bubbies Fried Chicken n Pancakes substituted with French toast. And this French toast... It looked like something pulled directly from the pages of a culinary magazine or lifted from a beautifully produced food television show. It was almost so visually perfect that I felt like I shouldn't touch it. But once I did, the presentation became secondary because the flavor was even more impressive. I have never considered myself a French toast person. Most of the time, it simply isn't executed properly, so I've always gravitated toward pancakes because, well... it's pretty difficult to completely mess up a pancake. The result was essentially an elevated interpretation of the chicken and waffle concept, except this felt like it had been taken into an entirely different culinary universe. This wasn't simply breakfast. It was a redefinition of breakfast. The kind of dish that makes you reconsider an entire category of food you thought you already understood. And then there were the drinks. The Berry Bloom is one of those drinks that makes you stop after the first sip and think, why isn't this bottled and sold everywhere? It's an incredibly well-balanced spritz bright, refreshing, fruit-forward without becoming overly sweet, and composed in a way that makes it feel effortless. This is something I could genuinely see becoming a nationwide bottled sensation. The White Rum Vanilla Bean Latte takes a completely different approach. Intentionality. Nothing felt like filler. Nothing felt like an afterthought. The eggs mattered. The texture mattered. The sweetness mattered. The contrast between savory and sweet mattered. I ordered a tuna cheese melt on white bread and maybe I'm an empath but it brought up déjà vu from when I was a little girl and eating a good sandwich my mom would make. I'm not a pickles person but those pickles on the side tasted so good and crunchy. I also got a hojicha iced oat latte with honey and it was if not the best I've hojicha I've had. It had the nice grittiness at the bottom and sweetness from the honey. We got a mayo tuna onigiri and it was so delicious and fresh. I was immediately greeted upon entering and the cashier (owner?) was very kind. She made sure to ask questions so that my order was made exactly how I wanted it. I ordered the hojicha latte - hot, with oat milk, and sugar. I've only had hojicha one other time at Moongoat but this one was definitely memorable! I will absolutely be coming here again just for the hojicha latte. I also ordered a turkey panini. You have a choice of bread, chipotle or pesto sauce, and pickles on the side. I opted for wheat bread and chipotle sauce, with pickles. The chipotle sauce was surprisingly good! I can only really handle a mild level a spice and this one was just at the edge of mild, going into moderate territory, but mild enough that I was still able to enjoy the sandwich. A really good kick to the sauce. It also seems like all of the ingredients they use are fresh! I know it's just a sandwich, but it was a good sandwich. The interior isn't very big, but cozy. There is bar-like seating with 2 outlets for every seat, so it makes for a very good work/study place. Overall really quiet and calm, too. I'll definitely be coming back!
