The best change I noticed is the lowering of the prices. I was originally appalled at the price that it was for a bagel and cream cheese but when I went a few weeks ago, I noticed they were offering a bagel and cream cheese plus a coffee every Monday through Friday for 5.99. To me this felt like an intentional move to bring people back because it truly was outrageous prices for bagels before this. The only negative thing I have to say is that when I ordered my bagel with cream cheese, I waited 15 minutes for it and I could tell that they were understaffed. Previously, I have ordered ahead, but on this occasion, I did not because how long will it really take to toast a bagel and put cream cheese on it. There were people that had been waiting a really long time for their order and guests were frustrated but I will definitely be going back now that the prices are lower and the bagels are very delicious.

There are time that even the best business has a hiccup and something goes wrong. What makes a huge difference is how the business responds, and therefore, Rekindle gets five stars. I'm certain my next visit will be fantastic - I'll be posting an update in the near future. Wow - So Disappointed! Rekindle was at the Taste of Orange this year and I enjoyed one of the Italian sandwich samples they were handing out. It was fantastic! We met the owner - she was very charismatic and charming. Today we stopped by to grab an Italian sandwich, and I just cannot believe they served me bread that was so old and dry - it would have been perfect for croutons, but definitely nothing like what we had at the Taste of Orange. The bread was so dry I had to dress it up with some olive relish to eat it - I don't expect when I pay $31 for a sandwich and chai iced tea latte to get home and have to start working on my sandwich. We decided to pick up a couple of loaves of bread. We got one sourdough and one cinnamon brioche. We tried them both this morning. We made French toast with the brioche and made sourdough toast with butter and jam. Both were excellent. We were only going to buy the loaf of sourdough but the guy helping us told us it was buy one, get one free so we choose the brioche. What a deal! We don't know if this is their regular deal or it was for the holiday or what but we were thrilled. We don't live in OC but we're not too far so we can come visit our friends and pick up more bread when whenever we want. So happy we tried the bread.
