Drove by here since we were in the area. It's a drive thru shop that's small and on the corner of a strip. Came here just to try out the ube doughnut but they didn't have it. I was extremely disappointed since that's why we came by. We decided to try other options. The strawberry donut looked amazing so we had to get it. The croinut was not what we expected and it was our first time trying one. Probably won't get it again. They threw in the donut holes which was very nice of them. Donuts tasted fresh and were very soft. The service was great and they were very friendly. 4 donuts came out to $10, so $2.50 for each donut which is pretty steep. We may go back if they bring back the ube. read more

Review on iced coffee and donuts. The iced coffee is made with regular regular brewed coffee and some sweetener taste is okay just a regular cup of joe in imo. These are very good donuts, reasonably priced. While visiting from Massachusetts and having seen the the documentary about DK Donuts' history, I readily walked to the take-out window after leaving the nearby deli restaurant and selected from the several varieties available around 12:30 PM. (They close at 2:00 and were clearly likely to sell out.) Some donuts were more impressive but I particularly enjoyed what I think were the glazed plain and glazed cake ones which the most pleasant server said she gave us as extras. They were significantly lower in price than other independently owned Orange County donut shops, perhaps because this only served thru drive-in and walk up windows and only accepted cash and debit cards. Would definitely like to return during a future CA visit. read more

They have parking in the front, in the back, a walk up window & drive-thru window. Prices are cheaper than most places - I scored 2 bars, 2 cake donuts & 5 donut holes for under $4. Another random perk is they have a seating area in the back. The same lady has been working here since I can remember and she is just the sweetest. Worst customer service ever. If I could give a no star I would. I am not sure if the lady that attended me today was the owner or a worker but she must be having a really bad day and just my luck, she took it out on me. I pulled up at the drive thru so I obviously can't see the name of the doughnuts. I asked for a bagel and a doughnut with a hole in the middle. I even started describing the doughnut, "You know the circled one with the whole in the middle" glazed please. She left to grab it, I could see the doughnut when she placed it on the window and I realized it was not what I had asked for. When I told her this, she grabbed the doughnut and threw it, not inside the doughnut shop but towards the floor at my cars tire. I asked her for a manager and she said she was the owner. Excellent donuts both delicious and on a budget! My favorite is definitely the stacked donut (alternative layers of chocolate and glaze), ube is excellent - it's so cheap just choose anything really. The cronut was.. lacking. After having tried the OG at Ansels in NY.. this is not it chief. Of course these are completely different price tiers and consumers, but regardless it wasn't my favorite either way. I still ate it, and went back for some more donuts! Overall tasty, good prices, varied drinks, accepts ATM, fast service, and good staff, what sets this D.K. apart from its other cousins is both a drive-through window service, and the proximity to the entrance to the 55 South/North freeways, and connection to the 5 South. With their fast service, driving throughout and picking up your order really quickly (from single serving, to office catering), makes it definitely a very convenient Donut shop stop. They haven't tripped once in 11 years. Recommended. Caveat: Busy car line, specially rainy days. read more

The donuts here a bigger than you find at most stores and less expensive. The place is open in the morning until about noon, so stop by early in the day. A good way to measure how a business is doing is to actually view the customer demand for its product. This morning at 7:30, on a Saturday, at this particular DK's, I was the ONLY customer. Not a good sign. The woman at the window was incredibly rude, almost deliberately so, and her mask--along with her accent--made it almost impossible to understand what she was saying. She didn't care, it seemed she was more interested in chatting with her co-workers inside than helping a PAYING customer. The donut selection was tired, pedestrian and not very fresh (I just ate one). Oh, wanna pay with a credit card? They will charge you 75 cents more for that privilege. LAST TIME coming here. The DK's on Irvine Blvd. could not be more the opposite: always packed, super friendly staff, really inventive, FRESH and creative donuts.
