I don't know why this place isnt rated higher on yelp.. we eat here often, I mean like once a week. They are always consistent with hot, tasty food. But last night's dinner was over the top exceptional. I usually go for the chicken & waffles and the wife gets fish tacos with extra of their sauce. The kids like the chicken nuggets. But man, high marks for the person cooking on Sunday! It was the best dinner yet. Super delicious and man does the food come out piping hot! can I give it negative stars? We waited for over an hour and a half, asked twice about the status of our order. Finally I was like, I want my money back. He tried to give us (non GF) orders from other people. I said I ordered it gluten free and he said to just take it. I said I have Celiac disease I can't just eat that. The whole reason we came here is because I was excited to have a GF fish taco. I asked for my money back. He said it would show up in my bank account after 48 hours. Well it's been over a week. I'm out of state taking care of my mom with dementia, so I'm over it. otherwise I'd have the time to track down the owner and get my money back. Don't bother with this place. Service was slow and chicken was disappointing. Went on a Sunday night and ordered a large and small size of the chicken nuggets with the family. The chicken was VERY overdone and dry. It took awhile to get our food as well. We were not given the option of having the nuggets tossed in sauce like the menu stated, so it came on the side. We decided to go back and order some sides but we waited at the window for so long without even being addressed that we decided to go elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend for the price. Fricken Faco only does one or two things but they do them fairly well: boneless fried chicken in various forms and fish tacos. Their buckets of fried goodness are sweet and spicy and satisfyingly crispy. And the fish tacos are a success as well. Recommended. read more

I had heard about this food truck from a friend. It's located at The Lot amongst other food trucks. She raved about the fried fish tacos (Faco) so I had to try. My husband ended up getting the Fricken (fried chicken) sandwich and I went with two Faco's. Needless to say, it was "FRICKEN" amazing and lived up to the hype. Very flavorful and fish tacos were fried crispy (how I like them). The Faco's were Fricken tasty, I highly recommend it. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his fricken sandwich and recommends that as well. He mentioned his sandwich was very flavorful and the right amount of chicken on the sandwich and the chicken was crispy as well. We will definitely be coming back again. read more

My son and his friend told my wife and I that the chicken sandwich was the best they had ever eaten. We then decided to eat there when we were on vacation and while the food turned out to be pretty good the service was among the worst we have ever experienced and completely ruined the experience for us. I always love the food at this place but I was pretty disappointed today. I made an online order and they called and told me that they didn't have what I ordered. I LOVE Fricken Faco! We live within walking distance and eat here at least weekly. I don't usually do fried fish, but this is one exception I'll make. Love the slaw and sauce that comes in the taco. So delish. We also love the Mac and cheese and chicken. But the fish tacos are our favorite. The Lot (where this food truck is located) is a great outdoor space with a decent beer selection. I guess there are other food trucks here, but I wouldn't know. It's always Fricken Faco for me. :) read more

They used to have great help, but their employees don't know what is going on, they all seem confused.. the used to have maple bacon chicken, which was the best item in their menu, and I've ordered every flavor. Came here to eat dinner and check out the lot in downtown Bend on our vacation. After we ordered and were walking away to be seated, the person who took our order very loudly complained about how much our order was and that we did not tip. We are from california and weren't aware it's a common thing to tip food trucks here. We've also been rationing the vacation money we have as things in Oregon are more pricey than we anticipated. The worker continued to very loudly complain about our order as he made our food to the point I almost went to ask for my money back. He even added on that he wasn't going to take anymore orders after ours because he was so mad. I was told people in Oregon were nice but this was the most rude and disrespectful experience I've ever had eating out somewhere. read more

My experience stated as I show up at the window and there was two guys one was the cook and the other was the cashier. I went up said "can I get a medium order of your sweet bbq chicken." Loved the chicken with sweet honey bbq, wish I had gotten a large to eat the next day. Mashed potatoes were great however they have garlic throughout and I am allergic to garlic so I couldn't eat more then one bite. Should put more specifics on the menu so you can make informed choices. read more

Second time to try these guys but again our experience was a big disappointment! Maybe food is better at the truck but would not order for delivery...tacos smelled way too fishy! The chicken bits were overcooked and tasted like they were fried in old oil!
