Highly recommend working with Magie! She was super helpful with the fitting and sizing recommendations! Thank you Magie!

I had excellent service. The employee Faith was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend renting a tuxedo from the Brea Store. They seem to have many options for different body types. I haven't picked up the rental yet. I'm hoping everything works out great the store was also very clean and it had a good atmosphere. read more

I would never go anywhere besides Friar Tux! David helped me out today. He was really really awesome. Definitely would recommend 100%!

Visited Friar Tux in Brea last week to get the account set up for our groomsmen. As you walk in, you must check in via a QR code. It was a Thursday, and they were semi busy. A gentleman came up amd said that the store manager, Faith would be right with us. They asked a couple questions and then asked us to fill out a form with all the names of the guys. After about 5 minutes, Faith came and started talking to us about the wedding. She asked about colors and we decided to go with a Cobalt blue for the guys. We had previously asked about all the blue schemes, but they only had 2, a cobalt or navy. One of the reasons I wanted to go with Friar Tux was because I know they have multiple locations so if the guys live in areas different from ours, the locations are still accessible. Another reason was that I thought they had many options available. Faith said that for renting there were 2 blues and for buying there were 2 blues. I really did not like this. I envisioned differentiating the groomsmen from the groom, but that was not necessarily possible when there are so little options, not to mention those blues were almost similar. Next, we chose the tuxedo (only one option) gor the groom. When it was time to try it on so we could see what it would look like, they did not have his size available in the coat or the pants in his size. They ended up fitting him in a black coat and black pants. This took a while, we could have just not done this part until they had the items in his size. Other than choosing the items for the groomsmen, for the groom it was almost a waste of time. All in all, service from staff and Faith was great. They did the best they could given the circumstances.... the product availability and selection... if this is what you're looking for, this is NOT the place. My fiance wanted to be done and over with so we did decide on just sticking with this option but if there were more stores that had more locations with greater selection, I would have definitely gone elsewhere. read more

Found Friar Tux on ChatCPT after my son had a negative experience at a competitor. I have to say that I was so glad we went here. Faith made all the difference in creating an amazing experience for my son. She was not only very professional and kind. She also had great style and opinions on what would work best for my son's wedding. As other guests came into the store, she was very aware to greet them while not taking her focus off of us. By the time we were done with the consultation and fitting, I am convinced I would have paid much more because it is not everyday you get someone as special as Faith. I even asked her if she was the owner because she definitely ran the place with the care and passion of an owner. By the time we were done, we had one of the most beautiful tuxedos in town. I am so glad I chose Friar Tux. The quality, value and options there are top notch, and if you are lucky enough to get Faith, you are in amazing hands, because she is a PRO!!! I highly recommend Friar Tux in Brea. read more

This is our second time going to Friar Tux for a suit. Last year we bought the suit for junior prom thinking our kid wouldn't grow much further. Well, we were wrong. Hahaha This time we are debating but likely end up renting. Service is quick and attentive here. Wish my second kid was a boy, too bc this is much better than looking for a dress. read more

The front sales lady Arianna gave me the best service anyone could've asked for. Made the experience smooth and fast. 11/10

Amazing customer service by Joseph and Irvin , especially Joesph. I'm a 5'2 trans man and they helped me find a suit no problem and in such fast time too I was probably in there less than 30 min. The establishment is courteous, they ensure your getting the best deal and what's more, they helped me purchase practically the entire suit for only a little more than the rental price! read more

I visited the store, needing a suit for the following day, and arrived promptly at 9:50 a.m., as they open at 10:00 a.m. However, after waiting for five to six minutes, no one appeared to open the door, and it seemed there was no one inside. The lack of punctuality raises concerns about the reliability of the business. Thank you. read more

We (family) arrived just as the store was closing. However, the store staff welcomed us in. Maggie one of the staff members assisted my son and us through the whole process of renting or purchasing an outfit for my son's first big school dance. Maggie was wonderful she made son feel comfortable and important in making the selection. We ended up purchasing the outfit. Maggie customer service skills were on display and the family took notice and were pleased. Thank you Maggie. See you guys in the next one. read more

I can't believe I didn't think of this last year. My son was in dire need of a suit for Homecoming. I was afraid we would not be able to order something on time because we went the Sunday before the dance, meaning 6 days to order something that would arrive on time. Low and behold, they made it happen. They were able to get us a 2nd fitting on the Friday before the dance and it was perfect. Everything fit really well and we were satisfied with the end product. Thinking back on the whole process, it is pretty accommodating. You get fitted for your jacket, vest (if needed), and pants. The shirt wasn't there but they took accurate measurements to ensure they ordered the right size. You also get to try on the shoes if they have your size. You can order the whole bundle which we did. It included the shirt, vest, jacket, tie, pants, and shoes. Oh, and it came with cuff links. Since they knew it was a Homecoming dance, our school received a 20% discount on the whole order. We had to return it the following day after the dance which I thought was still very convenient. I will definitely go back here next year when my son attends Prom. Make sure to ask for Faith or Manny, they are great. Manny was great with my son, dunno if it was because they share the same name or what but my son loved him. He also gave my son really good advice for the future. Looking forward to coming here again. Till next time!!! read more

Friar Tux of Brea asked me top provide feedback request form via email to fill out. I thought this might be a better forum to share on. I am not a one star review yelper but when things are not good they simply aren't. My friend recently got married and he decided to rent suits for his entire bridal party, of which I was one of them. He also decided to pay on our behalf which was an awfully kind thing to do. Because of this, I took great lengths to make sure that the transaction would be a smooth one and that no issues would occur. Now for the story to begin... Day of pick up: It was highly recommended that I try on my suit to make sure that there weren't significant changes from the fitting. Every other groomsmen that visited other Friar Tux's to pick up their suits spoke to how much feedback they recieved and how the person they worked with ensured that they got the right product. What I got was a look of disdain and the feeling that I was a real bother for trying on the suit. I asked to confirm what the package included and the response was "don't worry everything is there". I had to message others to confirm that I recieved everything I needed. This felt like something that could have been easily checked by a team member but instead the onus was put on me and that I was at fault for not knowing what was included in my package. There may be some merit to that, but it put me in the position of feeling like a burden to the team when I am actually the customer. Day of drop off: no problem, they told me leave it on the rack, I did. Days after: Repeated emails saying I did not return my suit. Wait what? Emails indicating that my friend would incur late fees for not returning the suit. Sent an email back, no response. If this was my own rental, I wouldnt feel to bad, but remember, my friend paid for it. It's been a couple days, the emails continue coming. Called the store, they said everything would be fine. ... but would not put it in writing. Still waiting for a confirmation that my suit was recieved, have not recieved one yet. This, to me, is not good, hence, one star. read more

The service was excellent, Joseph was a great help and patient with all the different styles/sizes my son was choosing to wear.

We went with Friar Tux Brea for our wedding tux and groomsman suit rentals and am 100% glad we did! First off, credit and thanks to Faith and Jocelyn for their great communication and excellent customer service. They really took their time to explain the process and give recommendations on styling. I actually wound up making a few visits here before finalizing- as there are different styles and fits so I wanted to get it correct come the big day. A few of my groomsman were out of state too, FT Brea handled it all swimmingly. I also appreciated the final fitting (and tux delivery) happening 5 days before the wedding (it came early!) which took a little stress from such a busy week. Just a great experience here and would recommend it for suit or tux rental needs. Friar Tux is the best! read more

Joseph was the best . So helpful , everything we needed we found ... we're very happy with our father and sons tux rental .

Came here to compare prices to Men's Warehouse and Friars prices are substantially better and the quality is just the same. Manny's welcome made me feel comfortable, which was important because I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to suits. The service was fast and I was fitted within 5 minutes of my arrival. I was out the door within 10-15 minutes. Most reliable suit/tux store I've been to. read more

The manager Faith at Brea was awesome. Her recommendations turned out great for my wedding party. Everything was covered to detail with many options for me to customize whether I wanted any last minute items that should be rented or not. She was very helpful with the fitting and with setting up the package for my wedding party whenever they came in for their fitting. One of my groomsmen and I picked it up at the Torrance retail and the order was not covered. Everyone else in my wedding party had complete sets so getting this fixed was a bummer. Luckily other Friar Tux locations were very friendly to accommodate our misfortunes (Mission Viejo included). So by personal experience I wouldn't deal business with the location in torrance. read more
