Came here and was impressed with the service for the initial fitting (before they had our money). Everything went smoothly. Fast forward a month, i fail to get any sort of message on the day of my pickup. Forced to call the store and check the status - they find my order and I get a text after my call. No big deal, right? Sadly, this was just the beginning of my poor experience with the store. No one greets you as you enter or acknowledges your existence. I see a check in sign on the front that instructs us to use a qr code. Done - I get my text and so does my buddy (were placed 2 + 3 in line respectively). As we're waiting inside and just outside the door, we see multiple walk ins being assisted. Maybe they're just dropping off things? Nope, they're being assisted with selecting what to wear. Over an hour goes by at this point, we've asked the staff about our place in line and finally, 20 minutes before closing we're treated like human beings!!! Oh wait, the employee has to ask us our names multiple times even though we've checked in using the qr code. Got to pick up my suit in 2 hours, pretty epic timing if I were stuck in a third world country, not Brea, CA. Lesson of the day? Ignore their qr check in and just walk up to employees til you get what you want. Suit looks pretty fly though. read more

Thank you for the excellent service. Sarah, the sales associate, went up and beyond the call of duty when helping me. The items that were in question, she took care of them and today I have the right suit. Faith (manager) check on me a couple of times to make sure I was OK and satisfied with my suit. Faith went over my order with me and again made sure I was happy. Then she put the items in the garment bag and told me to have a great wedding. DO NOT go to this place if want to try on the suit/ tuxedo. My Fiance and I went to check out tux for our wedding in June. There werent that many options in the first place and they didnt really help us with anything. We wanted to try on one of the tux to make sure it is the style we wanted. The guy took my fiance's measurement but then said we cannot try on any of the tux. He just said, you pay deposit today and we have measurement so its gonna be fitted perfectly. Im like wth!!!! I kept asking, so, you telling us that we cannot try on the tux? And he said no.. then how are we sure it looks good? Or it is the style that looks good on him? Then he said, we have measurements........ Who rents or buys any kinds clothing without trying it on?????? And this is for WEDDING!! We ended up going to another place and they had the best customer service and let us try on different tux. read more

First of all, I apologize, Lenette S., for not posting this review sooner! I was in a bind looking for the perfect tie for my wedding. I had gone all over town, but everything I found would not match my suit. I give Friar Tux a shot. It's nice and quiet. Their check-in system works well enough so as to keep track of their clients and ensure the best experience. I'm only looking for this tie! Lenette checked me in right away and I told her what I was looking for. One of the first things I see is this beautiful Olive green tie on a gray suit. I look to Lenette and say, "That's the one I need! Please!!" She said she could make it happen! She fills out the order, but finds that the desired tie was NOT supposed to be displayed yet and that it would be coming out in the Fall. I was distraught! I finally found the perfect tie, but I couldn't have it...but Lenette! She pulled some strings and more strings and had it to me by the next day! I was so happy. She made my day and even gave some great music tips. Thanks to some painstaking customer service, I was able to get my tie and look amazing on my wedding day! read more

Unfortunately when we came in back again at the end of February, the lady that helped us in January did not input the sizes she took.
