She had an amazing collection of hanboks for babies, kids and adults! We told her our theme and color scheme, and immediately started to suggest colors and styles that would go well. I have an event planner who I was sending the options to and she was super impressed by the owner's talent for picking out the right hanboks for the vibe. Last minute, we decided to rent hanboks for our entire family, and the owner was more than accommodating the last minute change and short time frame for the potential alterations that needed to be done. The owner hand selected mine, my husband's and our daughter's hanbok to compliment our son's without taking the spotlight from him. Upon discussion, we learned that she designed and made about 80% of her collection! She truly is a talent! The pricing was comparable to other hanbok rentals, which included accessories for the birthday boy, alterations (if needed), and steam/iron the garments. She was able to give us a bundle deal which beat buying hanboks for everyone! I couldn't recommend this place more to anyone wanting to rent hanboks. Her selection was amazing to see in her store!

So, I drove on down. The employee was a heavier set guy. He walked into the store a few minutes after we did and he went to the front counter. So, I walked up to him and was greeted. Told him i was looking for a specific type of jacket, which was a steampunk style jacket. the ones ive seen at Spirit look kind of cool, but never fit. I also told him kind of any long trenchcoat style jacket would work. They did not have what i was looking for and i was told to come back closer to Halloween when they get the Halloween stuff. Ok, I thought this was a year round place, guess not, but no big deal. Well, we did find a long trenchcoat style jacket that worked. There were two prices on the tag, so i asked him about the pricing since i had no clue why there were two. He said thats a rental. He said almost everything in there is rentals. Ok, fine, even Keith's i had no clue about this before coming in, but no problem. Here's the parts where the ONE STAR comes in. I did not know when i came in, but there was another customer in the store behind a partial wall from where i was. So he was fairly close, but I couldn't see him. At one point the amazing employee walked back to that guy and made some snide comment about "steampunk boy over there" to the customer. Sounded to me like they knew each other, at least somewhat. Thats when i saw the customer come around the other side of the wall trying something on. He to made some comment that i dont recall. Well, getting ready to leave, the employee comes back and tries to take me to the hats. He told me i needed a hat. I said no thats fine, I'll be wearing a mask so theres no need for a hat. He seemed to positively acknowledge that, but then he opened his mouth again and was a little nasty telling me if im wanting a steampunk jacket i will need a hat. So basically i reiterated what i had told him but was much more stern and told him im good. So heres the pros and cons of this place. PROs - A ton of costumes. CONs - Nasty employee. Place is WAAAYYYY too small for the amount of crap they have, it's hard to walk in there in some spots. Employee not very helpful and not very knowledgeable. Reason for ONE STAR? Nasty employee. Keeping in mind this was my first time here, with my kid. Would have looked around for a while longer and possibly found something, or something for my kid, but not after the way this guy treated me. Also, if you are mostly rental, but have some items for sale, wouldn't it make sense to have a small section for the items that are for sale? I mean, if that was the case, I easily could have looked in the for sale area (which there isnt one) and seen if i could find something or not. BOOOOO for Gasoline Alley. Includes the socks, tie, and the whole suit. Customer service was fantastic, they are very helpful on finding the right size and let you try on different sizes to make sure it fits you. The lead time for a tailor is about 3 weeks, that's the only down-side... so it is best if you plan ahead of time before your actual wedding date. Located in downtown Santa Ana so there is street parking, but there is a small lot behind the building with only 5-6 spots.

The owner, Sue, and her team is truly amazing and their service is truly exceptional. She has such a large range of dresses from Asian styles to European styles - it is extremely likely that you'll find a dress you'll really love from this boutique! What makes this boutique even more special is that you're able to rent a wedding dress along with a reception dress plus the veil and accessories (if needed)! I did some prior research before my appointment and I had seen some of her dresses online. I showed Sue the one that I was eyeing and she located it immediately along with another one that was similar in style. They were both Korean style dresses and though I barely fit into these dresses, Sue and her assistant was able to make it work so that my bridal party and I were able to get a good look at what the dresses would actually look like on me. I was expecting to be disappointed but ended up smiling throughout my whole appointment! I ended up selecting the exact dress I had shown Sue at the start of the appointment along with another beautiful reception dress that she recommended. As the day of the wedding came, I went in for a couple fittings and Sue and her team ended up altering the dresses to fit me like a glove! I was hoping for the best as I couldn't imagine this would be possible but they really pulled off some magic because I couldn't believe I was able to rent my dream dress, plus a beautiful reception dress, and had it fit me the way it did. We had a mostly smooth experience with Tiara Wedding, which makes this review difficult to write…read more We rented two dresses (ceremony and reception) and one tuxedo. We paid in full, communication was generally timely, pickup/drop-off were easy, the price was great, and Sue was accommodating. It's clear she is passionate about wedding attire. Unfortunately, the ceremony dress became a major disappointment. Before the wedding: Sue told us the shop had two copies of the dress we chose. The dresses were ready Thursday for our Sunday wedding. Because we were preparing for the wedding, the groom's sister picked them up for us, so we did not personally inspect the ceremony dress beforehand. Wedding day: About 30 minutes before the ceremony, the bride noticed a prominent seamline around the bottom of the dress from the hem alteration. The fabric was visibly puckering from the machine stitching, making the alteration particularly noticeable. The bride immediately called Sue, who told her this was normal and necessary for that dress and material. The bride was devastated. The dress looked very different from what she had envisioned, and there was nothing we could realistically do with the ceremony about to begin. Photo 1 shows the dress we received, including the prominent seamline and puckering. We also found several misplaced sewing pins in the dress after the wedding. Since the dress was worn directly against the bride's body, we found that concerning from a safety standpoint. After the wedding: We came across a video from a 9/13 wedding--just two weeks before ours--showing what appears to be the other copy of the same dress. It had a clean, unobtrusive hem. Photo 2 shows an example of the same dress with a clean seamline. Photo 3 shows the Tiara Wedding copy worn at the 9/13 wedding, also with a clean hem. Seeing this was particularly difficult for the bride. She was already upset about the dress, and seeing another bride wearing what appeared to be the same dress from Tiara Wedding with a much cleaner hem made it feel even worse. Since there were two copies, we cannot help but feel that we received the inferior one. Our follow-up with Sue: The bride sent Photo 1 to Sue, who responded that the dress was a rental and that this was the best they could have done. After returning the dresses, we asked Sue to look at the dress now that it was back in her possession and compare it directly with Photo 2. We hoped she could identify what had gone wrong herself. Sue subsequently said that other brides receive dresses with this type of hem, which we found difficult to reconcile with the examples we had of the same dress with a clean hem. We then asked about a refund of the alteration fee. Sue said there was no alteration fee and instead offered to Zelle us $200 to help address our concerns. We accepted the $200 and appreciate the gesture. However, we never received an apology or an explanation of what happened or why our dress was provided in that condition. That lack of explanation is what has been most disappointing. We understand that rentals involve wear and alterations, and we weren't expecting perfection. We did expect reasonable communication and care, especially for something as important as a wedding dress. If the shop needed more time to address the hem, they had Thursday through Sunday. Instead, we discovered the issue 30 minutes before walking down the aisle. No refund can give us that moment back. Every photo and video from our ceremony now contains a detail we never wanted there. We were conflicted about writing this because Tiara Wedding has many glowing recommendations, and we were actually referred here by a friend. Our experience with the pricing, logistics, and communication was otherwise positive, and we can tell Sue cares deeply about wedding attire. But we don't want another bride or groom to feel the way we did. We're sharing our experience honestly, along with the photos, so future customers can make an informed decision. We had an absolutely amazing wedding day overall, and we're grateful for the memories we made. We just wish the ceremony dress hadn't become such a painful part of them.

If you're Big and Tall, be weary…read more Giving 2 stars as my husband's groomsmen's suits all came out fine (but they are all standard sizes.) Knocking the 3 stars as this was a less than ideal experience for a big and tall groom. My husband who is 6'5", 48" waist, was less than comfortable in his suit on our wedding day, even after alterations were made to ensure the delivered suit actually fit. (And not just tailoring - complete alterations were needed.) We visited Savage Suiting as it was the recommended suit shop by our venue, and as they were so close to home we figured we'd give them a shot. A few things to note: 1 - it is an incredibly small space. My husband and his 5 groomsmen and father went, so 7 in total, and they filled the shop. Might be best to visit with a smaller group or alone. 2 - this is not a custom suit experience, they do not help you build your suit or choose fabrics and linings. (For what was spent, I wish he had had that experience or at least explored Inochino or similar options.) Instead, your measurements are taken and a suit it's ordered to your sizing (or at least that's what's promised.) I say that last part as although my husbands measurements were taken, and we were assured a suit could be ordered in his size, when delivered, his vest couldn't even button close and wasn't long enough to cover his waist. The jacket was incredibly tight in his shoulders and across his belly. His pants were too short, didn't taper at the ankle and blew out at his hips. And his bow tie couldn't clasp as it didn't fit around his neck. Now, had we simply purchased his groom's suit off the rack at DXL or Men's warehouse, I would understand coming across these issues. But we specifically visited Savage to have a gorgeous suit tailored to his measurements...so either the measurements were taken incorrectly or they cannot service larger sizing. (And to be clear, we've bought suits off the rack from DXL that fit my husband better than this specially ordered suit that was "to his exact measurements.") Now, in addition to all this and potentially the worse part - when my husband went to pick up his suit and realized most of the items didn't fit there was no apology from the store. A statement was made that "he was a difficult fit" and it was instead suggested to take the pieces to the tailor next door to have her alter them. No remeasuring done, no confirming the correct sizes were received, simply - well this is what we have for you, take it or leave it. To their credit, the shop did provide another vest for free, which we took to the tailor next door who added its fabric into the ordered vest to get it to close. But frankly, none of my husband's suit should have needed to be Frankensteined together in the first place. At the end of the day, the tailor next door saved the day and altered the suit to a place where my husband could at least wear it on our big day. However, she could still only do what she could do and he was still incredibly uncomfortable. And sadly his discomfort can be read throughout our wedding photos. I just highly suggest doing your research before collectively spending thousands of dollars on suits at Savage. I understand mistakes happen but ultimately, they overpromised and severely underdelivered.
