I'm beyond frustrated with myself and Moda 2000. Let's start by noting that this place is like a factory, every person is there to sell you the quinceañera experience and a dress. Before the appointment, I clearly stated that we were not looking for a traditional quinceañera dress, we were interested in a ball gown. They asked me to text them pictures of the dresses we had in mind. After I texted pictures they assured me that they had plenty of ball gowns options. We drove 6 hrs to get there. We arrived 15 minutes early and there was a line to get in, but they got us in right at 10am. We got assigned a personal assistant. They told us to pick our top 3 dresses so my girl can try out. All dresses on display are traditional quinceañera dresses, if you are looking for this style, this is your place. If you have in mind an elegant ball gown this is not the place. We lost 2 hours there with no choices for us. After their show, we told them that we didn't like any of the dresses. 2-3 more sales girls came out and showed us dresses in their back room, their ballgown selection is very limited. They put a lot of pressure on you to pick a dress and they don't give u a time to discuss as a family. They go in the back with your girl and brain washed them into a dress. My girl liked only 1 dress but I knew it wasn't "the" dress. she was overwhelmed by all her "-assistants", we were there for almost 5 hours, the next set of appointments was almost over and we were still there. My family was tired, hungry and ready to go. We ended up buying the 1 dress but we regretted 100%. I was ready to walk out empty handed, but they persuaded my baby girl to say yes to a dress that she liked but not loved. Please don't let them pressure you, take your time and it's totally ok to say NO. If you are not convinced, don't let them decide for you, keep looking there is a perfect dress somewhere else. read more

The place is huge and has an incredible selection of gorgeous ballgowns in a great range of colors. The staff and friendly, professional and very organized. They set you up in your own space. (Each party gets their own coach). The couches are arranged in front of a huge area with mirrors and platforms. After selecting the dresses you want to try on, an attendant takes your daughter to the fitting rooms and assists them with putting them on one by one before coming out for the fam to see and assist with choosing "the one". The staff are super nice, not pushy, and don't rush you. Our daughter's dress was about $2600, but definitely worth it. Great experience. It took 1 hour and 30m before the first dress was tried on. It was a busy Saturday morning and we had an appointment. They need to make less appointments if they can't handle the volume. I recently visited looking for a prom dress, and unfortunately, my experience was very uncomfortable. When I walked in, I was briefly greeted and taken to the back to look at prom dresses, but after that, I was mostly left on my own. While I understand not having an appointment, I expected at least some guidance or basic customer service while shopping. The most disappointing part was the way I was treated while trying on dresses. The staff member in the fitting area stayed very close by in a way that felt more like I was being watched than helped. It made me feel uneasy, like I wasn't trusted, which took away from what should have been a fun experience. Additionally, none of the dresses had visible prices, so you have to ask for every single one. When I finally asked about a dress I liked, I found out it was $369, which was out of my budget--but that information should be clearly displayed upfront. Overall, I felt uncomfortable and not very welcomed. Prom dress shopping is supposed to be exciting, but this experience felt stressful instead. read more

I just wanted to share my experience here as a non Hispanic person. I am a Korean American woman who can speak fluent Spanish ( cuz I was raised in South America), who's intention were to go there to find a dress as a BRIDE. The typical bridal dresses weren't my style so I decided to give Quince dresses a try. I booked an appointment first thing they had, and upon greeting the front person, they had me follow a young girl, however, last minute they decided another older lady for me to follow. At that moment, even though it was subtle, I knew that I wasn't priority there. I understand, it is a Quinceanera boutique, but they assured me that brides comes in all the time. As the very nice lady (Martha) guided me to the back section where they had the bridal dresses, I chose one bridal dress and then made my selection in the quince dresses ( which were immaculate). Now here's where I felt a little discriminated. They put me in the back "dressing room" which was just a storage closet. They had large boxes, multiple dresses that were clearly meant to be storage. I should have complained at that time, but I'm already feeling uncomfortable, so I just stuff myself into the closet. The thing is, there wasn't anyone on the other side where there was a wall of mirrors. On my side there was one full length mirror and full of sale's rack dresses. I get it it's the "bride section" but if you were to go to any bridal boutique, do you think they would put you in a storage closet? I just wanted to be treated like any other person who's about to spend over 2k on a dress. I just hope the staff there see's this and learn to treat everyone equally. read more

My god daughter wanted green! So green it was! We went through all the racks and found 3 she liked. After trying on the 3, the one she actually wanted, they asked to put it back on and let them celebrate with her by having the dj announce she picked the dress and everyone clapped and cheered! We made an appointment the night before to come in at 10 AM from Fresno. We were already accepting the fact that we booked last minute and it was a request so we knew it was not guaranteed. Keep in mind, this is the first time our girl was going to be trying on dresses and we did not intend on purchasing a dress. Our appointment was confirmed within an hour. When we arrived into town, we got there at 9:35 AM. We were greeted and our daughter was congratulated for her upcoming quince. We were seated immediately in a section with our daughter's name posted in the section on a glowing heart (sooo adorable). Our sales consultant Claudia greeted us and was so welcoming. She spoke only English. Lucky my husband and daughter were fluent in English while I can only understand so much. Lol. Claudia asked us what color we were looking to get and we were instructed to go pick out our top 3 from the selection they had. They had many colors to choose from and many designs. There were multiple girls there trying on dresses. We didn't have to wait long to see our girl try on her dresses. Claudia and other employees admired our girl as she came out in each dress. Our girl is usually very shy and she felt so good and confident. We took everything into consideration and we appreciated not being rushed. The last dress our girl tried on was theee dress! She said yes to the dress. They asked if they can take pictures of her saying yes to the dress to post on their Instagram. They also asked if they can announce and congratulate her on saying yes to her dream dress and also asked us if we can do a short father daughter, dance, and mother daughter dance, which topped everything off. Made everything so special. Remember when I said we didn't plan on purchasing during our visit? With the amazing experience we had, it would've felt wrong to not purchase our girl's dream dress from Moda2000. We appreciate everything!!! read more

Moda 2000 was the best! We loved our experience from the beginning. They are were very patient with us. There was so many dresses there and it was such a hard decision to make. The crowns and tiaras were beautiful and have lots to choose from for any dress. We had been to a couple stores before Moda to shop for a dress and most of them had very small dressing rooms and very hot. Modas were huge and great air conditioning . The long drive was very worth it. The quality of these dresses here were amazing. Other stores felt cheap and thin. My daughter loved all the photo backdrops and props in the store for visit experience. If anyone is starting their quince planning I highly recommend Moda for your one stop shop.
