It's a joke, super overpriced for the same dresses that other stores carry for half the price. You are just marking it up to make rent. Also, they only allow to try on one dress which is ridiculous when someone is new to the quinceanera world and needs to find what works for their body. I want to start by saying that this is a more positive three-stars. After bridesmaid shopping for a whole week, we're finally able to find a good quality and beautiful dress here that fit all of the girls. They also had all colors and sizes available, so there were no risks to be made. On top of this, their alteration and order time is so much shorter than any other store we went to! I took off two stars because 1. We were given one price initially, and when we came back later in the day the price went up. Not sure whether that was a mistake or not-plus they were still affordable-but we planned for that initial price we were given, so it was a surprise. 2. We told the lady working there our sizes, but she did not believe one of them and immediately & rudely suggested she would be a bigger size. I understand the concern if you don't want damaged dresses, but she was such a small size and the manner in which this was handled was rude. Of course, she was swimming in the larger size and even a size down had to be altered. I didn't appreciate anyone being treated that way. Overall I recommend this place. The work they do is great and they're very accommodating, but the service is lacking with iffy prices and rude comments. I felt like we sacrificed a nice bridal shopping experience for something good quality. I guess I'm on with that, but would have been nice to have both. read more

Found this little gem in a unpretentious indoor swap meet. We walked in with no expectation and left very happy. My daughter needed a prom dress and we had shopped for weeks, boutique after boutique, mall after mall. The store is small but packed with plenty of fashion choices. After searching for my perfect prom dress for months, I decided to give Princess Closet a chance, and I am so glad I did! The store isn't the biggest, but they have so many beautiful dresses there! My dress was $250 (including tax), which I was definitely hesitant about, but it was 100% worth it. (I also think mine was on the more expensive side of the store, I saw dresses as cheap as $60) The quality is so good, and the costumer service was even better. I'm giving this place TWO stars because the dresses are nice, but girl let me tell you my experience with this place. Today Saturday July 24th 2021 my sister and I were shopping for a wedding dress so we went in and like 5 minutes later the girl that was "working" said "You guys need a face mask!!" I was like "ohhh okay" so we left. (5 minutes in she's like y'all need a mask? Girl 5 minutes later? Clearly we were not acknowledged since the start) ANWAYS we left and to be honest no place inside the marketplace had cute dresses like this place SOOO after getting a face mask (mind you this was the only place asking for it THAT I SAW. The other locations that we went in did not ask for it but whatever) my sister and I went back to REALLY CHECK these dresses out. We got there we were looking and asking questions and to be honest the girl BARELY wanted to be there. We'd ask and she would answer but it was not in her interest to sell if I'm being quite honest. The vibe was awkward and it almost seemed like we were bothering her or annoying and finally we decided to buy a dress so we let her know which one we liked but also asked if my sister could try it on to which she said "NO WE ARE NOT ALLOWING ANYONE TO TRY DRESSES RIGHT NOW." Tell me why there was NOOOOOOOO SIGNS ANYWHERE stating that AND the fitting room curtains were WIDE open meaning an "invitation to try something on" (retail 101). It sucks because we wanted to get a dress from this place but now we have to drive to LA and get it there. Look I work in retail and trust me it is in my best interest to be nice with retail workers because I WORK IN retail but it got to the point where I had to be firm and direct when I'd ask her questions because it almost seemed we were bothering even tho we were going to spend $150 plus for the dress because let me tell you, it wasn't like she was going to give it to us for free. read more

We just purchased my daughters quinceañera dress from Princess Closet after visiting Moda 2000 where we had a terrible experience that left my 14 year old depressed and frankly, with no desire to continue looking for dresses. We found this little gem on Yelp and the salesgirl was super helpful, professional, so patient with my daughter and answered all of our questions with an amazing attitude! She tried on 3-4 dresses and settled on one she loved. We felt absolutely no pressure at all unlike the prior store sadly. We left to walk around and talk it over and the salesgirl was kind and completely understanding. We returned shortly to buy the dress, largely in part to the exceptional customer care we received throughout the entire experience, the beautiful dress and the great price we received.
