I recently visited looking for a prom dress, and unfortunately, my experience was very uncomfortable. When I walked in, I was briefly greeted and taken to the back to look at prom dresses, but after that, I was mostly left on my own. While I understand not having an appointment, I expected at least some guidance or basic customer service while shopping. The most disappointing part was the way I was treated while trying on dresses. The staff member in the fitting area stayed very close by in a way that felt more like I was being watched than helped. It made me feel uneasy, like I wasn't trusted, which took away from what should have been a fun experience. Additionally, none of the dresses had visible prices, so you have to ask for every single one. When I finally asked about a dress I liked, I found out it was $369, which was out of my budget--but that information should be clearly displayed upfront. Overall, I felt uncomfortable and not very welcomed. Prom dress shopping is supposed to be exciting, but this experience felt stressful instead. read more

Moda 2000 was the best! We loved our experience from the beginning. They are were very patient with us. There was so many dresses there and it was such a hard decision to make. The crowns and tiaras were beautiful and have lots to choose from for any dress. We had been to a couple stores before Moda to shop for a dress and most of them had very small dressing rooms and very hot. Modas were huge and great air conditioning . The long drive was very worth it. The quality of these dresses here were amazing. Other stores felt cheap and thin. My daughter loved all the photo backdrops and props in the store for visit experience. If anyone is starting their quince planning I highly recommend Moda for your one stop shop. I was really disappointed with my visit. The store was dirty, with a big stain on the carpet. At first, they said I could try on a quinceañera dress, but then they changed their mind, which was confusing. I was hoping for a sweet experience like I've seen on TikTok, especially since I was visiting from out of state. I ended up going to another store where the staff were much nicer. I was very impressed with how organized they were. We showed up for our appointment time and were walked over to our seating area and were told we have 10-15mins to look through the dresses and pick our top 3 with a couple of back ups. Once we picked out dresses they took my niece to the back to immediately start trying on dresses. They had the DJ going and announcing things. The girl that helped us was very nice and patient with us. If you say yes to the dress they put on a production for you.. mother daughter dance and showing off the dress. Very cute experience. I do believe they are a bit in the pricey side so don't go and expect a great deal. Even with that said though they definitely have a wide variety of very beautiful dresses so kind of worth it. My niece said yes to the dress and it came out to $2100 after taxes just to give an idea. The cashier on the back end wasn't very personable. The parking can be a bit tight.. it can get pretty crowded in there. We were there for 3hrs which I'm assuming may be average. Overall great experience! read more

The dresses in this store are pretty amazing. The staff is ok.. As some of you know, my fiancé and I are planning to get married in March (YAY!). We went here to find a nice reception dress. They have a section just for quinceañera dresses. And another for reception or ball room dresses. Just so you're aware, each is managed separately and require a separate appointment if you want to try on. Just in case you're wondering, their dresses start from around $500 and go up a few thousand dollars per dress. We had an appointment when we walked in. The staff was pleasant and escorted us to the reception dress section. There we were transitioned over to another staff member who did not speak English at all. Not even a single word. And no other staff came to help us communicate. Needless to say that selecting and trying on dresses and asking questions was not the most ideal with Google translate. But in the end we found an incredible and relatively inexpensive dress. There was a small alteration that needed to be done to fit Kristina's body frame which was initially extra, but the staff actually nicely offered to make that for us for free. They even gave us a nice matching veil for the dress at no additional cost. Overall, we had a good experience shopping here and would highly recommend the place to anyone who needs formal women's wear. You may want to bring someone who can speak Spanish just in case :) read more
