Every time I visit Suit Xpress in DTLA, I have a fun experience. Owner Guy goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable and appreciated, and he will go out of his way to make you feel like a million bucks when you walk out of his store, even if you walk out empty-handed. The selection of suits is HUMONGOUS with so many styles, colors, and price ranges to choose from that you'll wonder why you never stopped here first. The store is very clean and well-organized, and Offers a nice selection of suits, tuxedos, accessories, and colognes. When in need of a suit or tuxedo, visit this store FIRST. Best price and quality suits. My husband has been a customer for almost 10 years. We got all the family suits here for our wedding Guy (owner) is hands down good people. The best part is the call the trailer as you are trying on the suite to come fit it. The alterations can usually be completed same day or even while you wait depending on what is needed and the tailor shop is a partnership with another owner right upstairs. Such a great spot if you are in a rush. Highly recommend this place I e already referred four new customers. read more

I hadn't heard of the shop before visiting, and we went because there was a sale. They apparently had some water damage in January and just had opened back up... and wanted to release some of the damaged and unfinished clothes for discounted prices. First I need to mention that the management and owner were standing outside and greeting everyone, chatting with them. I heard the full story of how this place came about, and the struggles they went through during covid and the rain. Just a great group of people running the shop and you really root for them to succeed. I bought two t-shirts, a sweatshirt and a hat. It has become my favorite pieces of clothing. The shirts are comfortable but thick material, and don't hug you in an unflattering way. They fit so well. I will definitely come back once they have a new round of inventory to check out their stuff.

We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

We came a few weeks ago to get a suit for my nephew and had an amazing experience. The service was awesome and the suit quality was perfect. Of course I ignore "spite reviews" and stuff like "they were closed when I got there and it was a Saturday" But the true reviews with bad experiences tells me to stay away. But this place, Mr Suit, had 5.0 and NO BAD REVIEWS! So I went here first. The store looks small, but it's got either a secret basement or a secret attic where I could hear the sales guy on stairs going to pull other sizes for me. Okay, the nitty gritty: Gus (short for Gustavo) helped me out. With my wife's approval and Gustavo's guidance, I came away with two awesome suits. And he made me a deal! A shirt and tie included. The only tailoring I needed was to hem the pants, and he had his tailor Henrry from Hernández Tailor Shop from around the corner walk over and measure me. He took away the full suits, and 20 minutes later we walked over and grabbed the complete package. $20 for hemming the trousers, $10 each. Gus was cool, patient, and very accommodating. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!!

He went as far as to assault me and my friends and stole the suit that we paid $176 for. Called police but as usual LAPD showed up well after they closed. Will be pressing charges against the shop.

Met with Andrea first, who then had Moses help me. Within moments he selected a few suit choices for me, and I chose one that fit my immediate budget. Moses tailored it himself, it looked and fit perfectly! It took a little under and hour to get in and out. My interview went very well, wore the suit again for a 2nd interview and the manager I met with said, "You dressed for the position you want." I'll be will be going back to see Moses for shirts next. Thank you for averting a complete fashion disaster, I deeply appreciate the immediate service, compassion and empathy your team showed me.
