Although I will say, the last few times I have been in- the selection is much lighter. So light that it looks like they are going out of business. I love this shop. I wanted to come here for long time and finally I made it. Dog friendly so I take my dogs. One of my dogs is blind and another one also getting less eye sights so I asked the guy if I can use the elevator and the guy said no with "what a F talking about" face. Ok fine, I carried two dogs. The staffs at third floor were super nice and they loved my dogs and nice to them. Thank you. I saw lots of cool stuffs but I didn't buy any. I'm sure next time I might find ones! So real facts, 1) This store is located in the ROW DTLA, but it is omitted from the listings so you won't see it on the directory. 2) All the way near the back left corner when you come in on Alameda. I made a circle in the snipping underneath for anyone who doesn't want to go on a hunt for the store. I checked the brands online. Mainly sells streetwear, but a few brands I like: Comme des Garcons Shirt, Homme Plisse Issey Miyake, Undercover. They said due to the nature of the item because it's a sought after item because its a quickstirke they turned me down and I can see that they have a size 8 STILL available online...even FEATURE after buying an item for 50 percent off honors an exchange even when they said they usually cant after a final sale, now that's SERVICE! Bodega is GORGEOUS. I loved the aesthetics of the shop. They had a large selection of clothes and shoes for both men and women. Would I come here again? Probably not. Everything was extremely expensive and it was very hot. I started having hot flashes so I had to sit down while my friends were shopping. The employees weren't very helpful. They didn't indicate to us that they knew we entered and when my friends were shopping around they didn't ask if they needed help. The talked amongst themselves the whole time. read more

EVERY time Bodega has a sale and I find a good come up on a pair of kicks, the order never gets fulfilled due to "technical issues with our inventory management system"-which I find suspiciously convenient. The first time I placed an order with them, I didn't hear from them for over a week regarding my item being shipped so I emailed them to see what was up. After sending me a generic response about a delay, I get another email about my order being canceled due to "inventory issue." This happened twice. I even went as far as to check back to see if the size I got denied was available a week later-lo and behold it was! This leads me to believe they don't fulfill orders that they mistakenly sell for too low of a price and would rather cancel it than take the L they earned by not being more careful with how they set up their sales-which is a lazy and dishonest way to do business. read more

This place gets a 5-star rating simply on its attention to detail around authentic bodegas and how it reminds me of my childhood and hanging out in my grandfathers bodegas. They do have a great selection of apparel street wear brands and eclectic pieces. I do wish they had a stronger FW selection, potentially more vintage FW or throwback sneakers. Like a chicken running around without its head, I was totally tripping searching for this place. LOL. Treasure hunting on steroid. You definitely walk pass by Bodega and miss it. Then you noticed some cool kids sneaking in and out of that plastic refrigerator flap flap holding shopping bags with a smirk on their faces, It was a tell tale sign you were at the right spot. ROFL It is totally a set for gangster movies, pallets, boxes of fruit and some real avo. BUT what really amazes me are their exceptional pleasant, friendly services here at Bodega. Shopping from Bodega's online store seems like a great option but they are INCREDIBLY SLOW. I placed an order about THREE weeks ago and it still has NOT shipped out. I got a notice one week ago that said a shipping label had been created. There have been no updates since though, meaning that Bodega hasn't even handed the package to UPS yet. This company is so unreliable. I can't recommend them. Your best bet if you really need something from them is to go in store. read more

My order was cancelled 4 business days after I placed the order, with the excuse that they had a technical glitch with their inventory. The inventory is still showing they have stock. You guys use a Shopify website, it's very easy to update your inventory. I suspect something else is going on here. read more

This review is for Bodega's online customer support. Do not order from them online. I made a purchase online and attempted to apply a free shipping code. For some reason the code was not applied. I immediately emailed customer support to try to adjust the order. I received a short entitled response refusing to adjust the order and apply the free shipping code. I understand that this a small boutique store, but the "too cool for school" attitude they took made for a terrible customer service experience. For an order that was just placed and had not been fulfilled or shipped, this was an easy adjustment that could have been made at customer supports discretion, but instead they refused. terrible customer service, I bought an item 27 days ago they charged me in full and the item has still not shipped. Their customer service is the worst I have experience. When you inquire about when your item will ship they send you a pre written email that says they have a lot of orders and also blame shippers and say it can take up to 21 days after you place an order before they will ship it. When you reply to the email and say it's been longer than 21 days you get the same pre written email again. They do not answer the phone read more

Update to original review. My wife never received her order. Bodega is trying to run some kind of scam. They claimed it was sent to us but the shipping showed it rerouted back to them never reaching our house. They wouldn't refund, we had to file a chargeback with our credit card company. Online ordering review. Placed and order online and the shoes were shipped the very next day. They even arrived quick, considering they were being shipped across the country. They came in perfect condition and I could not be happier. I had a bad experience with another big online store, which I will not name, but it rhymes with Fith. They jerked me around for 5 days before canceling my order. However, I saw that Bodega had the same shoes, but for even less. So it ended up working out in my favor. They just gained a life time customer for this transaction alone. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend them for online orders for sure. I ordered a pair of shorts 19 days ago. They still haven't been packed for shipment. I emailed to request cancellation and a refund and they just respond in a form letter. 5 stars for the concept! It's located on the far end corner of the Row at DTLA. It's close to that produce warehouse. There's a small flight of stairs you need to go up and that plastic flap doorway you need to enter. At first it will look like you stepped into a produce warehouse, but if you walk through the next set of plastic flaps, you'll find yourself in an urban wonderland--it's almost magical. There are three floors you can browse full of trendy shoes and clothes and interesting displays. The employees there are very friendly and not pushy at all about making you buy stuff so you can look around and browse around in peace. It's just a super cool place to visit, and next time you can definitely impress your date if they're into this kind of stuff! So next time you're in need of burning off some calories after Smorgasburg, or just want to explore a hidden gem in DTLA, make sure to put Bodega on your list! read more
