I know NOTHING about cars but my friends who really do like cars enjoyed what they saw here. We were actually heading from our parking area to the main plaza area and happened to pass by Bowls. Glad we did since it's not somewhere I myself would usually stop by. Lots of cool car figures and set ups for the figures, they have pins, hats, quality clothing, and even a car parked in the shop. The worker let us know if we had any questions, just ask. My friends did buy some merch for themselves, so again, a must for the car people. read more

My husband and I stopped in for the first time today and it was a nice visit. We've tried a few times before when we were in the neighborhood but it does have odd hours. We were lucky today. The store has some unique goods and caters to Japanese car enthusiasts. Service was friendly and the layout is clean and fun to peruse through all their goods. Lucky to have these unique businesses in LA. Higher prices for car models and certain items for high quality items. Tee shirts seem normally priced and they had a good variety if designs. We'll look forward to coming back to checking out their new merchandise. read more

My friend and I were walking around the Little Tokyo area. We were across the street when we saw a bright sign for "Quality Goods". We were like ohh that looks cool, let's check it out! As we approached it appears to be a vintage feeling boutique store with mostly men's high-end goods, travel and luggage, and a bunch of cute trinkets. Us ladies have so many cute boutiques for our stuff so I thought it was nice to see a cute boutique store for the gentlemen. I really liked the décor and the vibes here. The walls had things where I can only best describe is a good blend of Asian and American cultures, which I really appreciate. Not to mention the service was super friendly and attentive with Brandon and Joyce. They were really fun to talk to. They were even giving us their favorite food recs in the area for the next time we visit. I ended up getting a cute Hibiki pin for one of my friends who is a major Japanese Whiskey connoisseur so I felt like they would appreciate it. Definitely coming back in the future for more gifts. Love the location as they are located on the same street as all of the restaurants that usually has waits. *cough* Marugame Monzo *cough* I'll definitely swing by this store and browse since I always want udon at Marugame Monzo and they always have a wait. read more

This is such a unique shop. One, they got a whole car in the shop and it's not just any cars. I know they used to have an AE86 in the shop but when I visited they had an advan old school skyline. Two, this shop carries cool automotive apparel, car parts, stationaries, stickers, collectibles, etc. It was really cool! If you're a car enthusiast and you appreciate Japanese automotive culture, I highly recommend you to visit this shop. Ps. I'm going to say this for the owner. Super cool, hip menswear shop in Little Tokyo! Blink & you'll miss it~ it's in between Anzen Hardware and Hachioji Craft Ramen. The store is small, rustic, & cozy. Staff is always friendly and helpful! I'm partial to their Little Tokyo branded t-shirts, but you'll find a good selection of hip labels. Great accessories from stickers to a Stussy doormat?! Load a bowl I say. Well, in this case, just check out this secluded clothing and accessory store in Little Tokyo. They've got some cool gear, mainly boutique style garb. I believe it's mostly men's attire, cause I don't remember seeing anything for you lovely ladies. The setup is clean - mostly shirts or pants, a few shoes, bags, and fedoras/caps. It's hard to find shops like this, even in Sho-Toyko, so it's proper to see some variety when you least expect it. There's a motorcycle inside, with the establishment selling motorbike and scooter parts. The guy I spoke to seemed highly interested in that stuff, so I assume it relates to the store in some form or another. Custom cars also seem to be a factor somehow. Walking down 1st Street, you've got quite a few restaurants to get your grub on. If there's ever a wait, then load a BOWLS and remember to also pack one for me too, considering I'll probably be joining you next time. WERD. I thought this place was pretty cool. There is some decent gear in here. I even spent around $400 on bachelor party gifts for the boys. Living right in the neighborhood, I even came back and bought a few more things for myself. Coming from Brooklyn, I always liked that they were playing NY hip hop when I came in. When I tried to return one unused wallet with the tag on - just walked it to my apartment a block away and walked it back to the store. Since I was out of the 14-store credit window, I cant even get some store credit. And its not like its last seasons style. They had the same one in the case. Shame when a store like this is so stubborn with their policy, because I'm stubborn enough to not spend any more money there. read more

store is actually pretty big! i'm usually around little tokyo so I always sort of walked by, its a few doors down from daikokoya ramen joint. the employees are super smiley and nice! its a mens general store, not just clothing but accessories and apothacary decorated pretty nice too, I walked away with a " Wolf & Man " shirt super comfortable and great price, I think im going back for another color actually!! read more

I walked in here randomly while waiting for the huge line to thin out over at Daikokuya ramen. So glad I did. BOWLS is a really nice little boutique type men's clothing store that carries great brands, and great styles. You can find anything from jeans, shirts, and bags, to more obscure items like decorative keys and just a lot of awesome knick knacks and paddy whacks. A lot of stores can carry cool items, but what sets BOWLS apart is their customer service. Top notch. They really make sure you're taken care of. I had a bit of a hiccup with some jeans I bought, not their fault, it was improperly labeled from the manufacturer and I should have been more diligent while trying them on. Long story short, they went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. They didn't have the size I wanted in stock, so they went to the manufacturer themselves and picked up a pair for me to grab before I had to hop on my flight back to the Bay Area. Mickey, you're the man. There was also a female employee whose name I didn't catch, but she was so nice and helpful as well. Great service is the key for me, and they have it. Bowls doesn't have a sign on their storefront yet, but the shop looks incredibly clean. They sell motorcycle parts, men's shoes, clothing and accessories. My cousins, brother and I browsed the shop on Sunday afternoon during their soft opening. While none of us bought anything, Ryan, the guy working there, took his time talking to my cousin from Hawai'i about motorcycle parts and was super nice. This is the perfect place to buy gifts for my brother and I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in LA! read more

Visited BOWL-LA the other day after work to check if they had anymore decal sets for me to place on my Honda Ruckus and helmet - they just sold the last set, but no worries, they told me they would have more in a few weeks. The shop is nice and clean, and it's cool to see what they sell, like the boutique items, but most importantly the motorcycle and scooter parts. I love the bikes that are out front for display. One of these days, I'm going to have to ride my ruckus and pay them a visit properly (ruckus style). Might have to pickup a tee or two and maybe a hoodie for my next visit. I checked this place out the last time I was in LA. I was driving down the street and saw their huge THE HUNDREDS sign and had to stop in! I ended up buying a sweatshirt and a couple shirts. This store has tons of cool brands and styles, only bummer was they didn't have that many options in size small. No worries though, they had an awesome sale going on and really great prices for shirts, sweatshirts and beanies. Definitely worth checking out. read more

BOWLS-LA is indeed a nice mens shop and a good place to buy some stuff if you have a ruckus. Good merchandise BUT customer service sucked! My brothers visiting from out of town and he already had issues with BOWLS not emailing him back about some orders he placed and some questions he had about parts for his ruckus. Since we were in LA for the day, we figured we stop by so he could see if they had the parts he wanted and get an answer instead of waiting for unanswered emails. Anyways, their website said they opened at noon and we were there minutes after but they were closed. We figured they were running late so we just circled around the block since there wasn't street parking available. We circled around, finally got a space and they still weren't open. 10 minutes later they finally arrive and we get no apology for opening late, just a "hey guys,whats up?" On to the next part of this disappointing visit: Every question my brother asked about a certain part, they were unsure of their answer and referred him to their email and that they'll "get back to him" once they know when it comes in. If you don't know what the part is, how will you email him? Pick up a pen, maybe? I'm very big on customer service because that's the one thing that will someone a loyal customer. Sorry if I sound harsh on this review but I'm being as nice as possible in my choice of words. If I caught the guys on a bad day, my apologies as well but for a customer service related business, you figure you'd actually give it. thanks! read more

I went in with the purpose of buying a gift for a friend. William was extremely helpful - he was very knowledgeable about the products and friendly. He explained to me the differences in the brands - fitment, materials, design campaigns, etc. They even have some clothes/stickers designed for those of us who grew up in the SGV. Hilarious stuff! The only place I do my shopping. Bowls is where it's at. Very helpful in every way and you won't leave disappointed. They have a great selection on everything Supra, Stussy, hundreds, and so on. Paul, Ryan, Brandon and crew will make shopping that much easy and comfortable at this location. The guys here are really nice. They got a nice selection of merch as well. I mostly come here for stickers and accessories. At times they got special sales, I got my friend a nice Stussy shirt for a good prices that you wont normally see around the mall. One of the dudes hooked me up with stickers as well. read more
