In this part of downtown LA, there are a lot of suit places that we got confused. But we walked by this store and it just felt right. They have a large display selection -- color-coded too. Then we were greeted and helped by Jose -- who was even helping someone else. Jose was awesome. There was a rush of people when we were there, especially because it was a Saturday. But every time we needed something, he was there to get it for us. He gave me a great deal for the suits i bought for my sons, i had to get mine too. He also gave me a gift as a first-time customer. On top of all of this, Jose had a great sense of humor, joking with me and my family. Our buying experience was great. They also have Emmanuel to hem the pants and make your suits more tailor-fitted or customized. Luckily the boys' suits perfectly and i just needed the pants hemmed. That was at a separate cost but not expensive at all. I'm glad we came to Suit Man. The boys are growing fast, so we'll be back. And for sure there will be other nice suits for me to pick up. Looked around the downtown fashion district for a shirt/vest/pants/tie set for my wedding party, and this place had the lower price for similar fabric. First visit I was helped by "Mr Hollywood" and he was pleasant to talk to and very knowledgeable, and gave us a good quote. When I came back to actually make the purchase, I was assisted by Jimmy and his customer service was impeccable- he was extremely patient with getting different sizes of shirts and jackets, helped my dad try on different suits, overall just a very nice and easy transaction. There was very little pushiness from the sales side and he really just wanted to help us with getting what we needed. We ended up getting black colors for the suits, but with different color ties and handkerchiefs. They fit well and needed minimal alterations (pants hemming for $5 from their recommended tailor), and was a great deal. The quality of these suits weren't the best, they were a blend of 65% polyester with viscose instead of wool, but they felt great and looked great and was a slim fit cut. Not to mention the price and value of it was hard to beat. I would definitely come back again if I needed another casual suit read more

Great customer service from Gonzalo :) They offer tailoring but you pay extra for the service because they outsource it. The tailor shop they contract with is just a block from the shop. Free shirt, tie w/ hanky, and socks with your purchase. Street parking or park in the many public parking structures along Maple and walk. read more
