I fucken love fresh fork. Great food. Always. Healthy. And the sauce is like goated. They close pretty early tho so u gotta be quick with it

Simply put, it's underhyped and far too underrated. The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is great and even has a vegetarian options of tofu as well which does taste delicious but I prefer the beef and rice with veggies, drizzling the teriyaki sauce on top along with the some Siracha that's provided pairs so well prime Barcelona and Real Madrid can't be up to the standard of how well it goes together. The freshness, flavor, aromatics are on another level compared to anything I've ever had. The time it took to whip up this delicious bowl was less than 10 min. This place hits the spot after the gym and will after a long day of work. The vibe of the restaurant is so chill, friendly, I got to start up conversations with others purely based on how much we bonded over how great the food from fresh fork is.

Very nice and simple food, you choose a size, Little, Small, Big (I think) Bowls it Large Plate. The Little are more for kids, I think but it's great that adults with smaller appetites can get them too. Choose a great protein, 2 of us had Angus steak and one chicken, all ordered mixed vegetables and the kids opted to have the sauce on the side. Oh, you have a choice of white or brown rice I opted for a large plate, came with a refreshing salad, brown rice, veggies, steak and an avocado with the sauce, which is a soy sauce with a ponzu like taste and some chilies. If you don't order or add the sauce the dishes can be bland. You might want to ask if they a mild option. Food was light on flavor, salad was refreshing and I pulled it onto the entree. The steak was overcooked and no char flavor. There was a grapefruit wedge in mine. Service was great, the guy was patient and helpful.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat on our way to SF. The location is confidently located off the 99. The environment was well kept and clean, including the bathroom. The employees were nice and quick to greet us upon walking into the establishment. The prices were fair. I ordered the chicken teriyaki plate (largest portion, comes with a side salad) and chose white rice. My husband ordered the half and half (half chicken and half beef) plate with white rice. My plate was $12.99 and his was $14.99. The food was served steaming hot and fresh, the vegetables were also fresh (just boiled, no seasoning) and the side salad was tossed in a sesame dressing? With tangerines on top. A star was docked, because we prefer an old fashioned thick teriyaki sauce as opposed to a thin teriyaki sauce. Overall, it was a great stop and would consider coming back if we were looking to stop in Ceres again.

These photos are from separate visits because I just realized...how have I not rated this place yet?! I must have eaten here at least seven or eight times now and it only opened at the end of January/beginning of February this year (2020). It is SO GOOD. I work in Modesto, near Empire, so ideally we order online and try to leave the office by 11:30 to avoid the traffic on Mitchell (and in the store) because (surprise!) we are not the only fans of this joint. The order ahead feature is great, you can also really easily sign up for their point system, although I will say even after a few hundred dollar office lunches only got me one bowl so it takes a bit to rack up. But hey, we keep coming back so it works. My favorite protein is the spicy chicken patty my ONLY request would be to get this in the tinier bowl because I like adding the avo and the egg and I do the 1/2 rice and I am still way too stuffed. But eh patty only comes in the Fork'n bowl size...and I know what you're saying, save it for later. But guys it is a) too tasty and b) half is not enough so you see my conundrum. Please offer the spicy patty in the baby bowl. You've heard my plea. Thank you!! Go check them out, the staff is super friendly, the space is a little small but I think they're doing a great job knocking it out of the park

Fresh Fork is a lovely new establishment here in Ceres. Such a nice change from burgers and Mexican food. Don't get me wrong I love burgers and Mexican food . It's clean. Customer service was good. Simple, easy, healthy, delicious. Good, friendly, fast service. Clean restaurant, plenty of parking, easy access from Hwy99. Kind of sterile environment, not cozy at all. Also, not a choice of healthy drinks like we might expect from the yum menu...just Pepsi fountain drinks like in any fast food place. Overall, worth driving from Modesto for sure! Usually i would give this spot 5 stars. But ever sence i started to email the owner about issues with my food, this place has dissappointed. Now each time i do a phone order, I seems as if my meals are being sabotaged. Usually by the same cook. This last phone order was the worst.i orderd 2 chicken bolws . The chicken was so rough , you could not even chew it. In the 2nd bolw there was a metal wire in my food. YES A METAL WIRE!. This wire chipped my girls tooth, if she had swalloed this, she could have been injured or even worse. What if this was a kid who was eating this . This was by far the worst food ever. I reached out to the manager/ owner. He had no responce for me. Still a few days later, i have not heard back from them. This is very sad and disheartening.. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK.. read more

Just tried Fresh Fork and it was exactly what I needed. I'm too tired to cook sometimes and I love that I can get something fresh and healthy. Personal preference, get the sauce on the side. It's a type of soy sauce and I'm not a huge soy sauce fan so I like to be in charge of how much is on my plate. It was fantastic I definitely recommend checking it out. *Go with half and half meat* read more

Disappointed they claim to be healthy but offer no nutritional information. Also, after waiting 23 minutes for our food we're told it will be another 10 minutes if we want the brown rice we ordered. Food was great but The only reason I tried this place was because I thought it would work in with my diet. No clue if the sauce and serving size put me over my nutrition allowance for the day and ended up eating the white rice so my husband wouldn't have to wait longer so that ruined it. read more

Went there for lunch today, I had the grilled chicken and tofu, and my husband had the chicken bowl. Both were delicious. The chicken was moist and done right as well as the vegetables. For some people it might be a little bland without the sauce but for my husband who is allergic to a lot of foods and needs to avoid salt. It was perfect. This is the 5th time I've been to FF. I loved the last four times, but today was awful. The presentation of the Forkin bowl was slapped together. The avocado was not even sliced, hard, and really cold. They gave me three small slices of tofu and usually line up 4-5 pieces off to the side. The egg was overcooked and the amount of rice they served didn't even coat the bottom of the bowl (like usual). I'm coming back, but I hope in the future they are more consistent because I was really looking forward to my post workout meal. :/ read more

When I mentioned it to the very polite gentleman who works the drive thru most mornings, he let either the manager, shift lead, or the cook know, and I overheard that woman very rudely said "that's not my problem, come back in the day time so you can see it then" This location is lacking extremely basic maintenance and repairs. The order screen was shattered a few months ago and instead of replacing it, this location "fixed" it by strapping a cardboard sign to it.

I recently visited this wonderful restaurant and had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. The staff were friendly especially ELI, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a nice meal out.
