I've driven by Frescafe Natick many times and today I was able to try it. The good was the service was attentive, the coffee was hot and good, and the eggs in the omelet were perfectly cooked. The bad was the homemade corned beef hash was tasteless. The flavor improved once I added salt but the hash was still under seasoned. Sadly I won't return. read more

The parking lot sign has a single "s" as in Frescafe. So does their Yelp listing. But the logo over the front door has a double "ss" as in Fresscafe, as does their bill and website. So I'd say Double "SS" is the way to go? Anyway, thats just a minor quibble because we had a very nice mid-Sunday meal a few days ago. If an all day breakfast is your thing, you'll love their breakfast menu. We sure did. A big cheese omelet with toast and homefries was $10.98. I went for their Steak Bomb Omelet for $16.99 with steak, mushrooms, bacon, onions, peppers, and cheese (plus the toast and homefries) My Steak Bomb was excellent and huge. In fact we both took home half of our meals for the next day. Coffees were $3.29 apiece, which is on the high side, but possibly Metro West appropriate? Our server Abbey was vey pleasant and seemed genuinely mortified when she realized she had forgotten to give us our check at the end of the meal. This is a popular place and for most of our meal just about every table was filled. They are open every day from 7am to 2pm. Besides the big breakfast menu you will find lunch choices for platters, burgers, melts, sandwiches, clubs, wraps, paninins and salads. Overpriced, mediocre food, slow service. I had a Belgian waffle with apples & cinnamon. I believe I got a very meh tasting waffle with a small chopped microwaved peel-on apple in watery cinnamon liquid. Very skippable for $14.99 (nearly $20 with tax & tip). I am by far a die-hard breakfast person and this experience didn't change that. Waitress didn't check on us once. I'll skip it n ext time. read more

Delicious breakfast nook !! We were greatest as soon as we walked in. Service was promt and very attentive. The vibes were quiet at first but then more people stared walking in, it was very family oriented and loud enough to gave a conversation. This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Natick. This isn't your typical greasy diner. It is cute atmosphere with a lot of unique options. I love the menu and how all of the ingredients seem so fresh and good quality. They have really good benedicts and also really good omelettes. The omelettes are THICK and I love adding chicken and veggies to them. I am very particular about my home-fries and breakfast potatoes, and these I really like. They are perfectly seasoned and the perfect amount of crispy. They also have a lot of sweet options, like nutella french toast and some unique combinations for pancakes and waffles. We did takeout here because of COVID. Wife and I ordered two dishes and asked for utensils. Woman who helped us said they're inside. We go back to the car and there's only one. Finally upon eating what I find in my Irish Eggs Benedicts. A HAIR lying inside my corn beef hash. DISGUSTING. We took it back and they made another one. Then as my wife is eating her french toast she is paranoid something is wrong with her food. I tell her "What are the chances?" Wrong, she finds a nice hair rolling in the sauce. By far the best vanilla latte I have ever had, yes Starbucks you heard that correct. Everyone should know this establishment makes their own syrups. I had the pancakes and I would have to say they were just okay. I don't think they were buttermilk pancakes, something just tasted off. Maybe it's just because the latte was the shining star for the meal. Maybe it was just a bad batch, I would go back for the latte though. read more

I have loved and patronized this cafe/diner for decades. The last few visits have been less than any standard one would apply to this type of business. I don't know what has happened but this establishment is far from what it once was. After a 30 minute wait yesterday our dishes of a cheeseburger and french toast arrived. My burger was thrown on the plate closed...sans any attempt at a green.It looked like middle school food under duress. Not only that it was so salty as to be inedible. My guess (I waitressed in NY earlier in life) iis that the chef (loosely used word) has a problem with the waiter who seemed lost. Thus our food (mine) was cold, salted and thrown at us. I will not return and not encourage patronage. It is too bad, they were a nice place to go that didn't have the epic snobbery of other establishments. Not any more. No complaints here - good food, large portions, friendly staff and quick service. When you pull up to this place, you can tell it'll be cozy and very tasty. The place was basically empty when we got there around 8:30 am, so we sat at a booth and the waitress came over right away to ask if we wanted coffee and water. The coffee was free refills! A fantastic place for amazing breakfasts and lunches. I eat healthier than most people, and this place offers very healthy dishes and specials. They even modify offerings as much as you like to make them even more healthy. The management and waitstaff are efficient and very friendly. They changed the name to FressCafe last year. On Rt 135 (East Central) in Natick. Next to Town Line liquors. The green monster omelette, Mexican Soul Benny, and many more original dishes. My only wish is that they offer non dairy milk for my coffee since I am vegan. My husband ordered caramel banana French toast with sausage links. He loved it. I decided to try out this breakfast and lunch place for the first time today since it was close to home and I was just looking for a quick bite to eat. Once I had gotten there of course there was no hostess standing at a podium there guiding people where to be seated. Instead, one of the waitresses just said to sit wherever. Then after ordering at about 1:40pm or so numerous other people started leaving. And the staff had begun seating other people as 2pm (their closing time) started to come by. The only thing was that after about 30 minutes or so the people sitting across from me that had come after I had been served yet my table and I had not been served. Then finally our waiter and I guess one of the managers came by to let us know that our orders had been lost due to their new system. Our waiter had used an iPad to supposedly place the orders and still completely failed to also notice my unserved table. Before potentially being offered a chance to reorder or pay for our cups of coffee and water everyone at my table and I got up and left. Unbelievable I came in looking for a quick and easy bite on a Sunday afternoon and ended up leaving frustrated and upset. Whether or not the food would have even been worth it is something I don't ever care to know. First time in my entire life I have ever had to get up and leave a restaurant like that. Tried this place for lunch on a Thursday at noon. Not crowded so we were seated quickly. Very nice welcoming atmosphere. Open until 2 pm, serving breakfast all day and lunch. I had the bacon cheeseburger with a side of onion rings. Very good. The onion rings were some of the best I've had. Service was very good, polite and friendly staff. We came here for the first time for Sunday brunch, looking for somewhere convenient to Natick. It looks like a family owned business, which is nice. I got the eggs and beef hash, he got the chicken pesto omelet. I love beef hash and will usually give it a try if it's on the menu. Theirs is pretty darn good! Not too salty, which can be overwhelming if you're finishing off your plate. I was told the chicken pesto omelet was quite good as well, and also pretty big. They were almost packed when we got there and will say it took a bit long for the food to arrive but they told us they were down one person in the kitchen and apologized, which is appreciated. I've always been to Frescafe in the Framingham location but not in the Natick one, this was my first time here. We were seated right away, we did come around 10-11am on Sunday morning, so I'm unsure if the frowd had already died down or if they weren't too busy.
