We LOVE Eli's!! Everyone who works there is super friendly and works well together. The restaurant does get busy so be prepared to potentially wait depending on what time of day you go. That said, the staff is very efficient and does an excellent job of getting people in and out without making the customers feel rushed (not always an easy thing to do in my opinion!). Don't be deterred by the line because it moves quickly and it is absolutely worth the wait. Eli's is a real hidden gem and great neighborhood spot for locals and those traveling from out of town. The food is DELICIOUS and the portions are huge. Food is fresh and made to order yet still comes out quickly! Staff are very attentive. Our recent orders have included the Truffle Shuffle Omelet, No Name Omelet, Porky Pig Omelet, Hot Mama Omelet and the Island Breakfast. All were incredible. The house made pico is super fresh. We usually ask for the sour cream on the side as opposed to on top of the omelet. My parents said the coffee was really good. Great array of hot sauces to choose from as well. Next time I need to remember to order my hash browns extra crispy (they are good as is but extra crispy is just a personal preference!). I had high hopes for this place and was unfortunately quite disappointed. My poor experience actually started before I walked into the restaurant. I was craving a breakfast sandwich and had to get it to-go, and read online that Eli's has some of the best breakfast in Natick so I decided to give it a shot. I called the restaurant twice, waiting 10 minutes between each call, and no answer each time. I shrugged it off and gave them the benefit of the doubt that they're just busy, so I decided to go and order in person. I drove to the restaurant and parking was a complete nightmare. I realize driving and parking in Natick center can be tricky, but this was one of the tightest parking lots I've ever encountered in my life. Somehow I squeezed into a spot and walked in. They have a designated door for takeout only. I walked up to the counter and nobody was there, I made eye contact with two staff members and they didn't say anything which I found strange. Regardless, a few minutes later someone came by, and asked me my name for my order. I let the staff member know I actually didn't place my order yet and asked if I could see a menu. He sighed loudly and handed me a menu. At this point, I completely lost interest, but I was so hungry, on a time crunch, and spent so much effort parking my car in that horrible parking lot that I decided to see it through. $15 and 25 minutes later, I received a bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant (which came with a side of home fries). Fine, but after the hassle, this food needs to win me over. Unfortunately, one bite and I was so disappointed. Dunkin breakfast sandwiches are leagues ahead of Eli's, and that is saying a lot. The croissant was super dry, the egg had no salt/pepper, and the cheese was tasteless. The bacon was carrying the whole sandwich and still nothing. Alright, one last chance to the home fries... and sheer disappointment once again. No seasoning, no crisp on the outside. 2 stars, it was edible. read more

Extremely rude host. Many restaurants have a sign up list. There was a pad and pen at the front with no one there and I grabbed it to write my name thinking it was one of those. The host came walking over and asked me not to do that. I put it down and apologized. He said it again, after I had already put it down and apologized. He continued to chastise me a few more times, which was completely unnecessary. Maybe the food is great. I don't know and I don't care. There are places with better service. read more

Friendly staff! They were able to accommodate my friend in a wheelchair and we were glad to be in the corner so we were out of the way. All of the food was fresh, hot, & delicious. It was rather busy when we came in with all the tables being full, but we were seated rather quickly when a table opened up. After we ordered, sometime had gone by and we started noticing tables that were seated after us getting their food. A server came up and noticed, and said that our food would be right out. I opted for the Rise 'N Shine w/ two scrambled eggs, home fries, andouille sausage, and marble rye toast. A few little tweaks could kick this from 3.5/4 stars to 5 stars. The andouille provided a strong, smoky spicy kick, that the relatively bland skin-on earthy potatoes needed. The scrambled eggs were too well done for my liking, but to be fair, I didn't request them any particular way. Marble rye was nice choice, but it always bugs me when they put a dollop of butter in the center rather than taking a moment to spread it crust-to-crust. The restaurant ambience is pleasant enough and the temperature inside was comfortable, but it is in a weird building that doesn't seem to be heated in the hallway or bathroom, so the bathroom is freezing and had no hot water. On the bright side, the portions are perfect - enough that you can skip lunch or have some leftovers. Coffee was smooth and hot with refills upon request. The fruit cup is more like a fruit bowl, with a nice amount of honeydew, cantaloupe, pineapple, and grapes. Service was prompt and friendly on a busy Saturday morning. read more

The service was top notch from putting our names on the waitlist, which was less than 30 mins for a small place on Sunday, to end of our brunch service. Vibe.... What I love about this family owned restaurant is that it's busy and buzzing but not loud. There's a mix of people: couple, families, girlfriend groups etc. but it's not loud and you can hear your conversation without talking at the top of your lungs. There are very clearly regulars.
