On a Monday - this seemed to be the only place open for lunch in all of downtown Wellesley. Order at the counter. They bring the food to you. They seemed to be doing a big take out business. There were a few outdoor tables. Lucky for us - they were on the shady side of the building! House salads were standard fare. Dressing was served on the side. Tomatoes and lettuce appeared to be local fresh. They had no issues with a cheese substitution on the eggplant sandwich. In fact offered after we requested no mozzarella. The lasagna was really good. The sauce was to die for. This place was a good find. Will be back. read more

Carbonara pasta was ordered with grilled chicken add on... with a root beer Ended up costing 28.62 A bit steep for a take out meal . Ended eating it there Pasta was good, chicken was very good flavors Carbonara sauce was just ok vs. what I have in Boston North end for same dish. Portion was smaller than Boston and more money ? The small piece of bread was supposed to be I guess garlic bread... this was real lame... I was expecting nice garlic, maybe melted cheese and a decent slice or two... real lousy... I wanted better. we have been to a couple of their other restaurants and they were good so while we were in the area, we stopped by the one in Wellesley. street parking only but we were able to find plenty of street parking. at least the meter is a quarter for 30mins. the service was good. we ordered chicken parm because that was all we ever tried from them. we wanted the garlic bread because we remembered their bread was really good. they actually asked if we wanted a whole side of garlic bread or they can give us each an extra piece which we were grateful that they offered that instead of having 6 whole pieces of bread as a side. they gave a good amount of chicken parm as well. read more

Goat cheese and walnut salad was excellent. Truffle and honey pizza was good but over-cooked. Second day with crushed red pepper made it better. Chicken gnocchi fra Diavlo was very unremarkable. No Diavlo, not seasoned at all, no discernible oregano, or basil or red pepper. It just wasn't seasoned. Since it was take out, I had to doctor it at home. But I shouldn't have to. Will never order again. I'd come back for the salad, but at this price it isn't great value. read more

The pizzas are great. We've had a Sausage & Ricotta, Prosciutto and Honey, and a mushroom Pizza. They've all been better than your average greasy pan pizza even though they cost about the same. read more

This place is a joke. They had an event going on where you got an envelope for dining there. On this envelope were two options a free food for the table and be a $500 gift card. Opening this envelope would make it invalid. However, neither of these were true. The free food was only a five dollar off coupon. There was no fine print on the envelope saying it would only be five dollars off so my family went all out on purchasing a meal to celebrate someone coming home. I'm disgusted to say the least. I had to write a review of this place, because I was so annoyed at the process they've established. First of all, this is a take out restaurant, again TAKE OUT RESTAURANT. Yet, when I picked up my pizza, which was extremely small even though I ordered a large, and ridiculously overpriced, my receipt had a tip suggestion section printed out if I wanted to tip 15%, 18%, or 20% and the amount it should be accordingly. I ask you, what in god's name am I tipping for, for the girl who picked up the phone and took my order, and ultimately made change when I paid for it? My 6-year-old wanted to have a date with me so we ended up at fiorella's not realizing it was an express location. There were still a few tables inside so we could eat and despite the limited menu, the options are delicious. The pizza is top notch as is the Bolognese sauce. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED - will give negative stars. Will NOT try again (just waste my time) and will alert all my friends the BAD experiences. Ordered take away pizza twice - both horrible experiences on extensive long waiting times with dishonest information. The first attempt was bad (extensive waiting) already, and the experience getting even worse on the 2nd try: 1. Staffs said to wait for 15 to 20 minutes for take away orders while ordering by phone. 2. After arriving the location 20 minutes later - staff mentioned few extra minutes needed while paying the take away order. 3. Right after order paid ....watching another staff just placing pizza into oven....which it took additional 15 minutes (cooking/ packaging) .... 4. Overall it took around 45 minutes ......and staff provided incorrect information repeatedly. If Staff could just honestly let me know it will take 40 minutes - I may order dinner from other places or at least to manage pick time accordingly. Alternatively, if staff could let me know the pizza was not cooked at all (not just need few minutes) when I arriving - I could just cancel the order and to see other options for dinner. Absolutely delicious food! Been twice in three days and have enjoyed everything! They make customization so easy - I'm a picky vegetarian and everything has been made perfectly. The standout was a large pizza without sauce, add garlic/oil, cherry peppers, eggplant and honey. Yes, HONEY. It's so freaking good! I would have made things right for the customer. I can't deny that the food is good if they can get it to you on time. My experience has not been a good one so far. One evening i arrived to pick up my order (with a 20 minute wait) and had to wait an additional 35 minutes. It was total chaos with many unhappy patrons waiting. My most recent experience, I was told it would be a 40 minute wait. When i arrived in 40 minutes the food was sitting on the shelf and i asked when it was ready. They told me it sat there for 20 minutes. When I arrived home the food was cold beyond belief. Nothing worse than cold fried calamari and pizza. I returned the following week to pick up a new order. I spoke with the Manager who did not care one bit when i told him about my previous experiences. THIS PLACE IS IN NEED OF A BETTER SYSTEM OR PERHAPS A COMPETENT MANAGER. GOOD LUCK! Fiorella's is a family staple for us! We usually order take out, and their app makes it easy to order for a quick weekday meal and their food is always terrific. Recently, we've gone there to dine-in and we've had a wonderful experience. The food is hot and delicious (tonight, I had the tortellini special, my husband got the chicken Parmesan and we got two orders of pasta with meatballs for our kids). The manager brought my kids crayons and paper to stay occupied while we waited for our food (which wasn't long), and they were happy to remake plain pasta for my youngest who decided he didn't like it with butter. Have been to the other restaurant in Newtonville and thought it was excellent. Came here on a whim and glad I did. My wife got the eggplant parm and thought it was excellent. Very crispy and delicious. I had the grilled chicken gnocchi fra diavolo which I thoroughly enjoyed as well. Portions were perfect size and the value for the money was excellent. I wanted to love Fiorellas, as I heard great things about its other locations. The first and second times we ordered it was delicious, my husband picked it up. The third time we ordered online for delivery and at hour 2 I called and they had no record of our order. I then ordered from somewhere else, 4 hours after my initial order a deliver person showed up with a cold bag of food which I sent away. I called the restaurant and the manager was so rude and dismissive. Tonight I decided to give it another chance. My food showed up on time, but... --Freezing cold!! --The veggies in the pasta were barely cooked and the caramelized onions were still bright white and crispy. --The sauce on the pasta was tasteless, I know it can be delicious since we had the same pasta the first two times we ordered from there. I can only assume the difference is pick up versus delivery. I am hoping they get their act together, as I know from the first few times we ordered that the food can be really good. read more

Really disappointed in Fiorella's Wellesley. The service tonight was bad. I arrived for curbside pickup and called. They said they would bring it out as soon as it was ready. After 20 min I called again and they said they think its ready, pull your car up front. The food was barely still warm not hot right out of the oven.
