Well, stopped in as closing on a Sunday . They accepted me in as kitchen was just closing . Ordered the cinnamon bun french toast and a small order of the sweet potato hash . They offer Two options of hash ; this sweet potato version and a corn beef hash version. Both are outstanding as I have eaten both here before. . French toast with the sweet icing will send me for an A1c blood sugar check... but it is excellent , really should be shared or take home 1/2. Very good menu options here. I was particularly impressed how many young guys, girls working here and everyone seemed to love working there? Unusual to see everyone smiling and working together in today's workplaces . Owners doing a good job teaching a positive work ethic and how to assure customer treatment experience importance . Each knew exactly what their closing tasks were. Excellent menu and options. I've had a Monte Cristo sandwich here a prior visit and it was 2 meals and . Daily drink specials sounded good and tempting... but I didn't want more sugar . I'd offer a sugar free lemonade that Minute Maid now offers in bottle. My only issue with past visits is always a wait on weekends as the food, quality and experience attracts a lot of customers.... That is a good thing. Great place, reasonable prices in 2026 prices.
I found this establishment by searching for a breakfast place on a Saturday. The day I found it, the wait was really long. I was able to get on the waitlist via Yelp which was great. I wasn't at the location. I ended up being #44. Because of the wait, we decided to go somewhere else. Now two days later, on a Monday, I happened to be driving in the area. I looked it up on Yelp and got on the waiting list. I was #14. When I arrived, I didn't see it. I drove around to the back and there is was. Amazed that on a school day Monday, there were ppl outside waiting. I parked and went inside to see if I could get a bar seat. The bar seating included in the wait however by wait was cut in half due to being by myself. Once you walk in, there's a check in counter to the left, the seating area is to the right. Before being seated, I went to use the bathroom and it was gross. One stall was disgusting after someone decided not to flush leaving only one stall. I'm assuming because that toilet wasn't flushed, it caused the bathroom to smell awful. While using the bathroom I heard two people come in. One being an employee that had JM Diner shirt on it. She waited for the stall I was using. It was concerning that as an employee she didn't attempt to rectify the non-flushed toilet. I went back to the waiting area and shortly later, I sat at the bar. Each person, including the other customers I was siting next to was very pleasant. I'm in love with pancakes. I inquired about them and one guy described them being huge and he asked another employee to describe them and he gave the description of a little smaller than a manhole cover. We laughed and I then ordered - only one though. I also ordered a steak and cheese omelette with a side of tomatoes and orange juice. My goshhhhhhhhhh....their pancakes!!!! No wonder this place's wait is ridiculous. The pancakes were amazing. They were a tad bit sweet but the texture, size, fluffiness was delicious. The orange juice is freshly squeezed A lot if places don't do freshly squeezed. I will definitely come back here with the family!

The breakfast food here is so yummy. There are tons of options, mostly sweets and salty separated, not a lot of combo breakfast meals. The ex Benedict was so yummy in the home fries are a must try. Almost every time you go you will be waiting for a table. Service is great. The one comment I would have is that they do rush you a bit and come over very consistently to see if you need anything anything which can be annoying while trying to dine in. Overall great experience.
100 stars for this gem of a diner. Cute, clean, upbeat with a fabulous menu & exceptionally friendly service. I'd drive 30 min out of the way to return. Tip...when you see the option to join the waitlist on YELP, is says that the current wait is 5 minutes. So we did not join the list until it was time to walk out the door, since it was 4 minutes away. When I did continue to join the list, it now said that the wait would be 39-45 minutes !! What the heck ? I would have joined the list 30 minutes ago. So this seems to be a glitch, You should proceed to join so that you can see the true time frame. I tried to explain this to the man at the register, but..whatever. In the end, we were only 2 people and did not wait longer than 4 minutes on a Sunday at 8:30 am Lee loved the sweet potato hash, it is just not my thing, but I absolutely am still thinking about my sausage, egg & cheese sando on gorgeous cinnamon raisin bread..perfection ! Everything was delicious, I am sure that every single item shines, as does the coffee. Highly, highly recommended!
We came here for a quick breakfast before our flights. We heard amazing things about this place and they were all right. The food, service and price was awesome. I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ pork skillet and was wowed by all the flavor it had. Great diner and amazing food!
The food was delicious! We got them monte cristo and egg Benedict and it had so much flavor. This place is definitely worth the wait. Easy to get on the waitlist. We logged in from the Yelp app for the waitlist and it was an hour wait so we left and did some shopping at natick mall and came back and a table was ready for us. Parking is easy they have a lot in the back. Place does get packed tho but soo worth the wait
Breakfast was ok. The real maple syrup was a nice touch. 99 cent extra charge on the eggs? I wish they told me this before hand instead of being surprised on the check itself. Please be upfront with this. Not to mention egg prices are back Down. Will this automated change be canceled at one point or is it permanent?

This place is worth the wait! I recommend going on the waitlist through yelp before arriving, they might even seat you earlier as long as you reserve your spot. The people here are really nice (and they wear really cool pyjama pants :)) & the decor would entertain you. Monte cristo tasted pretty unique, just on the sweeter side. The corned beef hash Benny, on the other hand, is amazing! Daves corned beef hash was made just right, with the right amount of crispiness. Highly recommend! Would definitely come back!

Visiting Framingham for the first time and found a gem of place for breakfast within walking distance of the aloft hotel . The J & M Diner has such an awesome vibe with very friendly staff and outstanding food. Come with an appetite. Another plus is they use avocado oil not seed oil which is a healthy plus . Definitely recommended and looking forward to our next visit. read more

We went for brunch. We did not reserve so had to wait quite a bit. Please make reservations or join wait list before. We got waffle, omelet and egg Benedict with sides of home fries. Food was great. Everything was fresh and delicious. Staff was great and there is enough parking outside. read more

Delicious experience, they have ice cream which they use in their delicious coffee floats or traditional ice cream floats, additionally they have mastered the salty and sweet archetype! The service is very friendly and attentive. Have never had a problem! Overall it's a very well deserved popular diner that definitely deserves a try read more

Cute spot. Fun diner that feels old school. Great bar seating. Large portions - got the egg and sausage sandwich. The home fries are small little hashes. Good iced coffee. Wait is 1 hour but you can add yourself prior. Lovely diner and worth a visit. read more

My sister and I have come here a few times before and the atmosphere is really lovely. The food is wonderful and they have really fun drinks too. The service is great, the staff is always friendly even when it can be quite crowded and busy which i appreciate. read more

More of a 3.5 Tip: if you sign up for Yelp waitlist, make sure to go inside and check in. We almost didn't go because it said the wait was 2 hours but when we got inside we were told it would just be a few mins! We got the beef and sweet potato hash (small) and the Nutella French toast. The total was $25 The Nutella French toast was good and they didn't skimp on the Nutella. As for the hash, it was actually pretty small and had a decent amount of beef. Service was pretty bad. I'm pretty sure our waitress forgot about us, but she was friendly when she finally made her way towards our table. All in all, the environment was very cozy and the employees looked happy. I would go again to try their floats! read more

Hello, do they have gluten free breakfast options?
They do, however, all food is cooked on the same grill so there is a chance of cross contamination. If you have questions, message them on FB...they respond quickly!
Does this place have an area where you can buy pastries? Such as muffins?
Katelyn - J&M doesn't do any type of take-out orders. J&M is truly an awesome spot - delicious and worth the wait. If you want another spot to just grab muffins to go - try Mel's Commonwealth Cafe in Wayland. I often get breakfast or lunch…
Do they have any gluten free options?
Their paleo breakfasts should be gluten free but you could still call and confirm. If not, many of the a la carte items are and would make an awesome breakfast.
Is this the same diner that used to be in the strip mall/business park behind route 30?
Yes
Do they take reservations?
They don't take reservations, however they have a system where you go in and give your name and cell phone number, once your table is ready they text you and you come in. If we go and there is a wait we'll spend our time at the Natick Mall or down…
