Outdoor seating with a very large helping of home fries, corned beef hash, over easy eggs, and bacon.

I want to keep this place for myself!! But I have to share how awesome this place is. It's small and kept its vintage look. The food is cooked right in the grill in front of you. Large portions. Very delicious. My husband and I love their corned beef hash. I do wish they had more pancake and French toast options available. But the prices are great. However keep in mind it's Cash only!! Can't wait to go back.

Bacon, sausage, Just missing the legendary home fries but definitely order some!

We have been going to Lloyd's since my father took me when we were kids, then we went as hs students, and now our kids take their friends to Lloyd's for their legendary eats. No frills, just stacks and stacks, and as friendly as can be, across the board. If you can carry 'yes.. let's go!!' excitement for generations that is exceptional. A must on the map of legendary local stops.

Omelet with potatoes and toast with a side of two blueberry pancakes to go. HUGE PORTIONS

Decided to go here after taking a walk in a nearby park. Like the other reviews mention, it's not the place to go if you're looking for romance or an upscale atmosphere. It's a tiny space in an old rail car with the feel of an old diner. If you want to get food from Lloyd's, you'll have to come early! They closed at 12 noon on the day we went (Sunday). Most diners in the area don't close until 2 so it kind of threw us off. The options on the menu were great - very reasonable prices and a good breakfast selection. We took the food to go and we're surprised at how heavy the to-go boxes were. My fiancé looked at me as we were leaving and said, "I can tell they give good portions here because I have to hold these with two hands!" After finally getting home and opening the boxes, we saw that the boxes were FILLED up with deliciousness lol. Their pancakes are $3 each as a side order but it's the size of like 6 pancakes. I couldnt even finish it and I'm 7 months pregnant! The only critique I have is that the potatoes were flavorless and very oily at the bottom. I wish they would have put some type of spices (or at least salt and pepper) on them. It tasted maybe like a plain baked potato. Other than that, I really enjoyed my meal and the service. It turned into 4 actual meals and cost about $10.

Friendly staff. Cool diner. Food was served in massive portions. A little bit too greasy for myself but great for a hangover.

I opened it and saw there was no half & half in it, and then I saw the coffee table, so I assumed there was half and half. I walked to the table and found out that there was no half & half. It is in an odd location near the DPW, but the inside is cute and likely designed by a fan of the Magnolia network. There is seating for about 24 people, max, but the breakfast menu has basic eggs, breakfast meats, home fries, etc. The double breakfast has 2 eggs, 2 tiny sausages, 2 strips of bacon, home fries and toast. Everything was good - no complaints with food or service. One really odd thing, though. Is there are no prices posted anywhere. Menus are blank, wall signage is blank, the website doesn't list prices, etc. I had no idea how much my breakfast was going to cost, and couldn't make decisions about what to order based on price. My breakfast, with a black coffee, was about $14.75. Overall, a nice spot if you're in the neighborhood, but certainly not a destination-type place.

We asked the manager for some napkins to prop up the wobbly table and he said (quote) "Why don't you tell your kid not to stand on his chair" and walked away. The kid in question was literally sitting in his chair with one foot against the table. We explained to the manager the impact of what he said, and gave him multiple opportunities to apologize. We get it: its St Patrick's Day in an Irish bar and it's stressful. But instead of recognizing that he snapped: he doubled down and tried to convince us that his language fine, and that we were in the wrong for calling him out. I even talked with him an hour later, after it had cooled off, and he continued to be aggressive and dismissive. A bad manager is one thing. But our server didn't acknowledge the awkwardness (even as other families watched in shock), just trying to rush us out. The food was probably the worst it's ever been at Stone's, which raises questions of why. It's understandable to have a bad day, it's *not* ok to set the tone for your staff and establishment that berating your customers, unprompted, is acceptable.
