Today we came for breakfast. It was really packed as we arrived but no wait for us. Lots of big groups waiting though. The breakfast took a long time to prepare and the food was barely warmed? The sunny side up eggs have a runny egg white texture.... Not great. Hash browns patties could have been more cooked. 2 sausage patties and 1/2 sausage patties at the bottom??? Sourdough toasts were cold...??? Nothing was Hot? I just didn't get it? My friend's breakfast was exactly the same... barely warmed? I'm a bit disappointed and surprised because we had good experience last time here.

The food was all delicious. We had the items pictured, two were specials and will probably not be available anymore but the burrito was on the normal menu and was good. I also saved half of it and ate it a day later and it saved well. The restaurant was cute and felt like a family diner. The service wasn't great. We had figured out our drinks and all the food by the time anyone came to our table, and it's not like a place where you sit yourselves and wait to be served. Then every time we needed something (the check, or a drink they forgot to bring) we had to flag someone down because no one had visited us. Also when my partner ordered her drink we both felt like the server was giving her attitude for accidentally ordering a flavored cold brew (which they don't have) instead of a flavored iced coffee (which they do have). This was our first time here and the food was good so I'd give it another go because it may have been an off day or maybe they were down workers, but if we got the same service then I will lower my score.

Came here for an after-wedding brunch and tried out the Irish eggs Benedict! They seated our party of 30 and we waited about an hour to order on a busy Sunday and they were so patient and kind -- coming around with water and coffee as needed. Food came out with impeccable timing for a group so big & overall was super happy with the experience. Deep fried home frites were 10/10

Solid brunch place with a variety of classic and more interesting brunch options. Every time I come here and pick something out in the normal menu, then I see the specials menu and I change my mind because there is always something that looks a bit more unique and delicious. We ordered the Cajun Benedict and s'mores French toast. Good portion sizes and tasty. Pretty popular on the weekends so be prepared to wait for a table, there is a little bit of seating by the window to wait, or bar area is first come first serve for seating.

Decided to give this place another go and I'm glad I did. We went on a Monday afternoon and it was decently busy. Our serve was on time, but very impersonal, and almost seemed to wait for us to initiate every talking point which seemed odd. We ordered the breakfast dish that comes with everything (I forget the name), but it had eggs, bacon, pancakes, and hash browns, all of which were really good! We also got the tuna sandwich which was huge and delicious!

The first thing to note at 2Mauro's is the ambiance. You walk in and are met with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, the bathrooms are spotless, and the decor is unique and adorable. The staff always has a smile and a laugh, really adding to the homely feeling. Now moving on to the food. Overall: I ordered the Patty melt. It is a 1/2 lb burger so make sure you are hungry. I can't quite eat 1/2 lb the way I used to, I max out around 1/4. But the burger is really well cooked, it pairs incredibly with the onions and cheese. The bread is a marble rye, which gives the sandwich and almost grilled-cheese vibe. But the real glue for this burger is the thousand island dressing. It works exactly the way I want it to, combining and enhancing all the different aspects. Additionally the French fries are a work of art. A perfect crisp, with fluffy pillowy insides. That initial crunch followed by a soothing warm potatoey inside satisfies every craving in the book. The total comes in at an incredibly reasonable $15, including fries. That and a coffee brings this delicious meal to an unbelievably affordable $20. The icing on the cake is their incredible service. My waitress was Valerie, who not only was amazingly friendly and kind, but also was very attentive. I personally enjoy when a server is on top of the little things like water and coffee refills, and Valerie is at the top of the game when it comes to service. I would give 2 Mauro's Cafe an overall ranking of 9/10. I would even go as far as to call this one of if not the top tier dining location not just in Ashland, but throughout the surrounding area.

Solid breakfast spot. Came in around noon on a Saturday and was seated after about a 15 minute wait, which I would consider fairly quick. Server was very polite and came by within a few minutes of being seated. I got the eggs with breakfast meat. Classic breakfast plate, but it was hot and came out quick. My wife got the açaí bowl which was very fresh. Nothing special, but a good spot for breakfast. We will return.

I wasn't at the location. I ended up being #44. Because of the wait, we decided to go somewhere else. Now two days later, on a Monday, I happened to be driving in the area. I looked it up on Yelp and got on the waiting list. I was #14. When I arrived, I didn't see it. I drove around to the back and there is was. Amazed that on a school day Monday, there were ppl outside waiting. I parked and went inside to see if I could get a bar seat. The bar seating included in the wait however by wait was cut in half due to being by myself. Once you walk in, there's a check in counter to the left, the seating area is to the right. Before being seated, I went to use the bathroom and it was gross. One stall was disgusting after someone decided not to flush leaving only one stall. I'm assuming because that toilet wasn't flushed, it caused the bathroom to smell awful. While using the bathroom I heard two people come in. One being an employee that had JM Diner shirt on it. She waited for the stall I was using. It was concerning that as an employee she didn't attempt to rectify the non-flushed toilet. I went back to the waiting area and shortly later, I sat at the bar. Each person, including the other customers I was siting next to was very pleasant. I'm in love with pancakes. I inquired about them and one guy described them being huge and he asked another employee to describe them and he gave the description of a little smaller than a manhole cover. We laughed and I then ordered - only one though. I also ordered a steak and cheese omelette with a side of tomatoes and orange juice. My goshhhhhhhhhh....their pancakes!!!! No wonder this place's wait is ridiculous. The pancakes were amazing. They were a tad bit sweet but the texture, size, fluffiness was delicious. The orange juice is freshly squeezed A lot if places don't do freshly squeezed. I will definitely come back here with the family!

We asked the manager for some napkins to prop up the wobbly table and he said (quote) "Why don't you tell your kid not to stand on his chair" and walked away. The kid in question was literally sitting in his chair with one foot against the table. We explained to the manager the impact of what he said, and gave him multiple opportunities to apologize. We get it: its St Patrick's Day in an Irish bar and it's stressful. But instead of recognizing that he snapped: he doubled down and tried to convince us that his language fine, and that we were in the wrong for calling him out. I even talked with him an hour later, after it had cooled off, and he continued to be aggressive and dismissive. A bad manager is one thing. But our server didn't acknowledge the awkwardness (even as other families watched in shock), just trying to rush us out. The food was probably the worst it's ever been at Stone's, which raises questions of why. It's understandable to have a bad day, it's *not* ok to set the tone for your staff and establishment that berating your customers, unprompted, is acceptable.

The staff from the front to servers were so awesome. We called ahead and they accomodated us right away with a group of 10. They told us we would have to squeeze a bit then they extended our table after a new one opened up. The menu was not too expensive but had a lot of good choices. Here is what we had THE MAC: classic egg & cheese sandwich with choice of bacon, sausage or ham served on an english muffin - my cousin said this was delish, perfect for a simple breakfast without the hassle HALF SPOONFUL: two eggs any style, choice of bacon, sausage OR ham, home fries & silver dollar pancakes - my sister said everything was good, sausage was flavorful and not chewy, eggs cooked perfect to her choice of over medium, the only thing was pancake was a little dry but she is pancake picky so it should be fine MEAT & CHEESE OMELETTE: two eggs, choice of bacon, sausage OR ham & american cheese; served with home fries & choice of toast - my cousin got steak for his meat and he said it was perfect. Egg was of good consistency not dry and steak was cooked perfect Salmon Benedict: lox was not too salty, eggs cooked to perfection, and hollandaise....I haven't tasted better than this MAC Benedict or Corned beef hash Benedict: difference with the salmon, min was served on a toasted croissant. This was ingenious, like a sandwich with creamy sauce...soooooo ahhhmazing. Going Bananas waffle: Belgium waffle topped with caramel, bananas, and toasted pecan....can we say YUMMM!!! Steak burrito: we took his to go but it looked equally good Steak and eggs: the steak was so tender and the flavor....perfect Classic burger: my brother in law got this and added egg and bacon. The burger was cooked perfect and the egg too. Grilled cornbread: ok if you ever go here...this is a must...the best cornbread I have ever had! Side of homemade gravy: This was delish!! Side of extra crisp bacon: when we order this, we usually get a bad burnt bacon, or crispy on the ends and chewy on the inside. This bacon here....was perfect. The flavor was on point and it's like it disintegrated in my mouth after the first chew. Overall, everything was sooo good. I commend the chefs and staff for having such a great place to make our bellies and hearts happy. When we visit here again, we will definitely go back to eat and try other things. I suggest you try it out too.
