Great food but a bit pricey but what do you expect after covid... we got 2 omlettle plates and two coffees... 50 bucks. And i left a tip. It was nice but reminds me why we just cook breakfast at home for 80% cheaper. Atmosphere was awesome classic dinner just not classic diner prices. Waitress was on point with water and coffee

My husband and I came to enjoy lunch at the diner on 5-9-2023. Been here for breakfast years ago and wasn't disappointed. Today was a Tuesday around noon, and it wasn't busy. We saw the story , several months ago on chronicle about the diner, and I couldn't wait to try one of their signature burgers. We ordered frappes ( chocolate and strawberry) and I ordered the dean martin burger and my husband ordered the grilled Ruben. Service was quick, and the waitress was very nice. While we enjoyed our lunches, I can't say it was as good as I hoped. The burger didn't have much flavor , and the Ruben was dry. I would def go back for the great service and a great breakfast. We left with a full bellies and good service so win win.

Friendly staff and great food. Nice clean diner with a 50's atmosphere. Constantly refilled the coffee and the food was served hot and flavorful. They modified my meal to be vegetarian with no problem. Will definitely be back!

    Nice dessert selection.

Since my first visit and Yelp over a year ago, I've been to Victors several times for breakfast. My most recent prompted me to update my review. I ordered the Victors skillet and my friend ordered chicken fried steak with eggs. Both were delicious and enough to share. Side options included grits with cheeses which was served hot and tasty. The skillet which consisted of two biscuits, sausage, eggs, and sausage gravy on top of home fries. This dish reminded me of Colorado restaurant 'Denver Diner' dish called Mass-Confusion.

Very cute, clean diner! Exactly what they name says, expect! It's totally cool ! Food was good, hash browns not cooked as much as I'd prefer (which is crispy but not fried) but still they were tasty ! Egg was cooked as asked. Over easy- my sister LOVED her banana nut pancake, my niece loved her kids breakfast of pancakes & bacon. Coffee was alright - I was a little surprised they only have cream for coffee - at least a low percent milk would have been nice. Price was expected. If in the area again we would definitely consider going there for breakfast again. Waiting area is tiny. Kinda uncomfortable but there isn't much for them to work with in regards to that. And every time the door opened I was so cold. We sat near the door. I doubt the rest of the restaurant felt it though.

Sitting at the bar today and the bartender is really nice too. Local ingredients are key! A few years in and this is still one of our favorite spots for breakfast and lunch. Couldn't remember the one brand on Pinot Grigio the restaurant served. She dropped her pen, then a customers check on the ground and almost dropped another tables meal. I ordered a Caesar Salad with well done Salmon, dressing on the side. When it arrived, the dressing was on the salad, but the salmon was cooked to order. There was an abundance of Parmesan cheese on the salad as well, however it was molded! Needless to say I sent it back untouched and did not order anything else as I was a bit disgusted that the kitchen would even send it out with visible mold! I would not recommend this restaurant and as for myself, I will not be returning.

The restaurant was also hosting a teacher appreciation event where teachers ate free which I thought was amazing of them even though I'm not a teacher. We had to wait a bit due to the demand that evening but it was not bad to stroll around a bit. They had pretty diverse staff and they were all very friendly and seemed committed to the restaurant and good service. They also seemed to know the menu quite well and proud that the restaurant makes everything from scratch! I got chimmichuri steak flat bread and my friend got a salad. We shared the seasoned fries. I would not think of these flat breads as pizza. Once you've mentally made that jump, the food is really good. I enjoyed it and it was a good amount as well. My friend also ordered food to go for her partner and our server was great to helping us time that order so it was ready for when we were leaving and still hot. Amazing service with great food and cute neighborhood. I think you can get dessert here but there's also a fun micro creamery across the street that was another delicious way to push deeper into food coma for the night!

You arrive through the ice cream shop (I've been to the ice cream shop before and I had no idea that this was here) and you go to the back to an unmarked door by the restrooms. You flip the switch and the doorkeeper checks your id and you wait until there is a table. Once you go in, it is a small restaurant/bar. The focus is definitely on the alcohol. There are several interesting cocktails to try. I had the martini. It was served in a flask on ice. It was strong. My friend tried the Manhattan and she was very pleased by the flavor. We had the burger and shared the fries. Those were good but not the best I've ever had. But the concept of the fries was very good. My friends got the salmon dip and that was exciting. The deserts are mostly spiked too. The service was very good and I will be excited to come back again next time I'm In the area.

That being said, we still had a pleasant dinner and enjoyed our meal but I don't think we will be itching to return. The standout being the french fries-- tossed in a delicious truffle butter. We both enjoyed the ny strip-- I found it odd that you couldn't order it cooked to your liking. We had asked for our steak cooked medium and they "can only do medium rare" per the servers words. That felt a bit odd-- I cannot not understand the reasoning why. The flavor on the steak was delicious, the cream sauce outstanding, and the greens were a nice touch. I would not recommend the cacio de pepe -- that didn't feel like an authentic pasta rather overcooked mac and cheese. It was not what we were expecting. The other thing that fell a bit short was the service. Completely different than their sister rail trail, the service was cold. It felt as if we were a bother. Our dining experience was less than an hour, it was prompt service. Ambiance is nice, small seating, dark.

Finnegans didn't look as busy as some of the eateries on Main Street so we thought cautiously we'd give it a try, knowing all the while that if its not busy it's usually a good sign to stay away. We walked into a warm and casual dining room that offered a bar in the main room with locals casually chatting over a few drinks. The bar clientele were not disruptive to our dining experience whatsoever. The service was fast and friendly and the menu had a nice varied menu of good old American food. Burgers, Fries, Fish, Chicken and Beef. I ordered the sirloin tips and my husband ordered the Fish and Chips. In what was a comfortable amount of time our food came to the table piping hot and absolutely delicious. The haddock was light, flaky and obviously fresh covered with a light breading that was perfectly season. The fries were hot and perfectly deep fried. My sirloin tips were exceptional, perfectly charred on the outside and a beef eaters delightful rare to medium rare inside. Marinated perfectly not overstated but just enough to enhance the delicious and tender tips. Not served with gravy or a mushy sauce of peppers and onions or whatever just perfectly cooked beef tips. I think they surely gave the nearby Wildwood Steakhouse a run for the money. My mashed potatoes were piping hot, lightly seasoned and tasted like home made with a home made texture and a few lumps. The veggies were fresh, perfectly cooked al dente' and I smiled as the chef Tom, peeked out the door to give and get a grateful thumbs up. A very pleasant evening out in a pub that certainly does not get enough raves about its fast and friendly service, and truly great food. One note, if its shift change time you might want to make sure that its your waitress that gets her tip before she leaves. Thanks Tom, we will be back.
