My experience with Fred Meyers has always been nothing to write home about. Fancy me writing a review for this location. I grew up in Salem and been to the Freddys down there. Typical fare, blinding bright florescent lighting, ugly 90s decor, rampant kids scattered about, you know, the works. Been to a Freddys in Corvallis, one in NoPo (North Portland) and another in Olympia, Washington and they all seem typical to me. This Fred Meyers has a step up on the others. Maybe I'm being bias because of the entire long aisle's worth of beer. Anyways. The place is larger than any of the others I've been to and the aisles seem wider and more accessible than what I'm normally used to. OH! And the lighting was a tad less freakish (still florescent, but much warmer). The organic section was a bit lacking however. I'll definitely be coming here for my beer trips. It definitely didn't hurt that they had balloons everywhere when I walked in the Jewelry entrance. Seemed like a party. :) read more

I loved Fred Meyer. One Stop Shopping rocks. Now I go there and at least a third of what I'm looking for isn't there. If you want yogurt, man they've got boatloads. You want Organic Sour Cream? Forget it. So disappointing. Not even Nancy's regular in the Natural Choices section! Eva Meyer was a stickler about carrying wholesome food but it looks like Kroger wants to give you some sugar that looks healthy. They do at least carry Tillamook and Daisy brand. Those aren't filled with well - fillers. I miss a well stocked home electronics section - the pegs are full of the same item! How about a variety of the cords that wear out (with at least 2 versions). Instead you've got 20 pegs of some outdated connector and cover. I would buy a leather cover or something with a luxurious feel if you carried it for my new phone. You did have one of the memory cards I came for. I would have bought three. I feel like it's become a sad little aisle over here. Clothing - I still can get my bra friendly tank tops here. Yay! At least they didn't delete those! The lingerie section is good too. They have a solid selection of running shoes too. Not the latest but plenty of shoe-lasts for every foot in the family. We have narrows and wides and we all found a pair. I go for a shopping experience AND to save time. You're sending me to Amazon and down the street when I'd rather buy here. The people are still awesome. Please Please know that I miss your smiling helpful people but I'm spending more time at Trader Joe's and Natural Grocers these days. read more

I used to shop here, mostly for clothes and home goods. I was VERY disappointed when they switched from Great Northwest clothing to Dip. I know they want to attract younger shoppers, but we older shoppers appriciated the great price and selection with Great Northwest. I keep hoping they will bring this brand back. Especially women's t-shirts...they were wonderful. Dip brand is awful!! read more

Clothing clearances are often the saving grace of this store. Fuel savings points from purchases are what keep me coming here.

I am at the pharmacy in agony with a kidney stone. Clerk at pharmacy doesnt care. Says it will be an hour or so. I am sorry but wouls it kill them to help me out since I am in so much pain and bump me ahead in the line? OMG it hurts so bad!!!! read more

This place is so much better than Target or Walmart. Bring Fred Meyer to California. They have everything you need, including gas and so much more. They have a full selection of each type of product, so it's one stop shopping. Came by after dinner (see my review on Pho Nguyen) since it was in the same shopping center to pick up a few items. The store is clean and well stocked. My daughter picked up a Oregon Ducks blanket (aka Puddles). Hmmm maybe Fred Meyer doesn't need to come to California, we'll go to Oregon! read more

I had not been here for one year because the organic vegetables here are so dirty. I prefer New Seasons more than here. Today I came here to buy some veges, and gosh, the cashier didn't know one of the vegetables name and cannot find the lable! It happened several times before! I mean, you work here and how can you don't know the name of something sold in the market?! Please, please study hard otherwise you will be fired in the future. I can see that! read more

There are rarely employees out on the floor, so if you want help purchasing something, or even finding something, Fred Meyer is NOT the place to go. I would not buy electronics or small kitchen appliances here unless I already knew exactly what I wanted. Wanting a stereo with an iPod dock, I had to go chase someone down to help me. The employee who "helped" me knew nothing, not even how to get the displayed items to work. Ask a question and she'd look at the box for the answer. Still, Freddie's is convient and really is a one-stop shopping store. Just wish I could get help there when I need it. But it seems like that's the way a lot of stores are going these days. read more

Unhelpful. You'd better know where the thing you're looking for is, because nobody is on the floor to help you find it. And when you do track down an employee for help, they act as though you've put them out. Save yourself the hassle. read more

Freddies! The Roseburg outpost of the Fred Meyers empire. Under one roof you can do groceries or shop for anything else. Their bakery is always a delight to check out. Located in the towns bustling main drag. read more

Beware of the checkout crew at this store. I bought a 5-piece set of baking trays and didn't realize until I got home that the clerk had charged me the price for the set five times -- one for each tray -- instead of once for the set. And The store refused to refund my money the next day because I couldn't prove I hadn't purchased five sets. Somehow the pricing mistakes always turn out in the store's favor. read more

The recent remodel of this Fred meyer is a vast improvement to its predecessor. The store is well laid out and offers a large selection of products. The remodel included a kids play land, WAY better bathrooms and lots of creature comforts for shoppers. Overall a good remodel read more

I love Fred Meyer. This is a really convienent location to me. Staff memebers are always very curtious and friendly/

We recently moved back to California! And, beside missing EVERYTHING about Oregon except the weather, I MISS FRED MEYER!!! Great customer service! Awesome products! Great food and overall GREAT EVERYTHING! read more

Fred's is often a destination when errands are the plan of the day. While they don't have everything, they make a great effort. Good: Decent beer selection, decent organic section "hidden" smack dab in the middle of the grocery store. A toy section that goes on too long to run past with 3-yr old in tow. Most of the staff is great. Bad: Produce is hit or miss. Insider Tip: Parking near the grocery section is often a congested mess. Skip the chaos and park by the Garden section. Burn a few calories and walk - it's faster. read more

This rating gets one star for the nice polite girl at the checkout counter and one star for the cute dog toys I found this morning. Other than that I had a glimpse into what Hell must look like. The grocery department was huge, unorganized and I felt uncomfortable being in there. It must take people hours to find their groceries in such a huge space that has a lot of wasted space in it too. I just ran in for dog toys and a 6 pack of beer. After finally finding the dog toys I tried twice to enter the beer aisle but one of Fred Meyers idiot managers decides to hold a meeting with about 8 to 10 other employees right in the middle of the aisle. They weren't social distancing and the manager wasn't wearing his mask properly. I did not at all feel comfortable after seeing that and after waiting about 10 minutes for the meeting to disperse I gave up and left. This was my first time in the store in about 18 years and it was my last. read more

I buy a lot of frozen lunches, and this FM keeps dropping those that I prefer in favor of poor-quality house brands. I find this Very annoying, and I'll start driving farther to find a grocery with more choices. read more

This location was very nice. The employees are very nice and very helpful. I think they should have more people to help you though in clothing because half of the good stuff is hanging up where you can't reach and you have to go find someone than do like I did which was go to a cashier to have them get me someone. But other than that it is a great location. read more

Great deals. And my kids enjoy the free fruit. You save a lot more if you use their app coupons.

This is the first time being in a Fred Meyer store. I thought it was a great store. Lots of items to choose from. But I did find the music CDs to be a little higher priced then everyone else. read more

Great neighborhood grocery store. They have everything organic and it's way cheaper than going to New Seasons down the street. My only complaint is that the deli and soup sections have very few vegetarian options, but we make it work. I don't shop anywhere else for groceries. read more

Fred Meyer is always the place to go when you have a bunch of random things on your list. I've almost always been able to find what I'm looking for here. That said, there are still some pharmacy-related products that you would expect to find in such a big store, that they don't stock. For example, when I travel I like to use those little tiny ziplock pill bags to keep my vitamins. They don't have them. I have to go to Walgreens for them. Still, Fred Meyer is a great "all-under-one-roof" store. Also I particularly like THIS store because they have clothing. I can always find a deal on Levis here. read more

This store has a great selection of many things but the two things i love the most are their shoe selection and their selection of Oregon State items. They always have a coupon for something and you don't have too bring your own. They may be a little spendy shoe wise but the brands are the reason and definitely worth it. read more

Is it weird that I'm about to rave about the best time my family had at Fred Meyer Pharmacy getting our flu shots? Pharmacist Kian Ghatan was terrific! What a pleasant, helpful and patient man, especially since we were a family of four arriving without an appointment and missing some insurance information! He got it all figured out with very little wait time and expertly put the kids (and us!) at ease during the administration of shots with friendly small talk. The pharmacy even donates a meal to the homeless for each flu shot given, WOW! We all left smiling, and spent the rest of the day continuing to compliment him and Fred Meyer amongst ourselves, no joke. Really appreciate that they offer shots to anyone over age 7 now, it was super convenient. 5 STARS for our experience, thank you Fred Meyer Pharmacy! read more

I would love to love this place but the store lay out seems confused. I'm sorry I'm not impressed at all.

Great beer selection is about the only good thing this place has going for it... Don't get me wrong, it is a decent sorta upscale grocery store. Nice deli, produce, and seafood counter. You can also buy socks and underwear here, along with video games, sporting goods and housewares. High priced normal items would usually keep the derelicts away, but strangely there are a surprising number of trashy suburban weirdos and tweakers usually here. Probably more so than the 24 hour discount grocery store down the street. Speaking of prices, I am always amazed at how much I spend for so little at Fred Meyer. The best part is the parking lot...it is a marvel of engineering failure at best. Hands down the most frustrating parking lot you will probably ever navigate in your whole life. read more

Workers are friendly. They helped me to find what I need. I take back 1 star because of their prices!! Some items are more expensive than Target. read more

I would agree with other reviews that the service has really dropped off since Kroger. They also seem to put the slowest moving checkers in the check-out as a way to encourage customers to use self-check which will reduce their overhead. My real concern though is that almost every time I shop there I find an OVER charge on my receipt and then have to go back to the service desk. Department heads do not seem to be very careful when making price changes .... and it always seems to go in their favor ... hmmm, feels dishonest. Watch your checkers and your receipts at self-check. read more

Fred Meyer is a one stop shop, but then you have to find someone to help you out in departments. I have picked up a new respect for customer service and they have it, if you are willing to find someone and then ask for help. To actually have someone to ask you if you need help or did you find anything its only as you are walking out the door unless you want to go back through the hassle of now finding what you didnt get and waiting back threw the line. read more

Bought a couch from Freddy's and Jeff (who I believe is the manager in the furniture dept) was way helpful and informative! He even came to the checkstand to remind the cashier to take an extra 10% off the couch because there was a coupon going for all furniture, we way appreciated it! Awesome customer service. read more

The service at the FM pharmacy at the Beaverton Town Square location has rapidly deteriorated of the last few months. When you place and order with automated system it gives you a date and time your prescription will be ready for pick up - except it's completely meaningless. It may or may not be ready. Calling and ordering with a 'real' person is no better. I've been told my prescription would ready at at a specfic time. it wasn't . You are told to come back in twenty minutes and it will be ready. It wasn't. They tried to charge me full price when I have insurance. They refused to credit me back. so I cancelled the order and refused delivery. Add to that the surly rudeness of much of the staff. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Employees are nice, cleaner then most grocery stores, great place to shop for everything.

This store's attitude toward disabled (or anyone who speaks anything they don't approve of even if it is not directed to staff) is absolutely atrocious. AFTER they were sued by a disabled woman for not allowing her dog in the store, they will be sued by me for something similar: after I spent 2 hours shopping in Store #35 they refused to let me check out? Why? they cannot serve deaf, refused to read a deaf card, their scanners don't work and they think all of this is very funny. They were reported to US Dept. of Justice, civil rights division and I reserve the right to sue this store for Title III violations, along with Safeway and Trader Joe #141 for the same discrimination based on disability and only based on disability. I went to a different FM the same day and was served without a hassle. After that, I have refused to set foot in FM for about a year. read more

Thank you to Fred Meyer for their support of Beaverton's brand new professional theatre, Experience Theatre Project, Inc!

This Fred Meyer store is the best, compared to the other locations. I always get teh Oregon wild caught shrimp meat here, at the sea food section and compared to the Tigard or other location, here the shrimp meat is always fresh, some times they have it frozen, and that is good too. I also think employees here are all so very helpful, friendly and have great customer service skills, both in the fresh produce area and at the Deli, compared to the other stores. Especially the Deli.I often buy the Simple Choice smoked ham, which is delicious and all natural. And the people who serve at the Deli are so amazingly patient and gracious. Comparing even to new seasons' deli, where youc an find a similar kind of ham, all natural, but the people at the deli seem to have a big attitude and arrogance and do not great customer skills, while here I have always been treated with respect, grace, kindness, that is why I keep returning to this store read more
