I went to return an item and the employee, Hailey was extremely rude. I greeted her, and she ignored me. She also used a monotone when she asked if I had the original form of payment, which I did. I do like shopping here. The products sell themselves. The employees are not friendly. read more

Very disappointed this time around. We were there at 11am or so and it looked like tjmaxx was going to close down. Everything was limited. The skincare/cosmetic section shrunk and if you look at my pictures, there were lots of empty shelves. If your shoe size is 7-8, congrats you have options but for those who aren't, like size 5/6 for me, there were no shoes there!! Empty! I think they're remodeling or changing the format before the new year. However, this is the last week before people go back to work and school. Many people are still shopping and if there's nothing to browse during the holidays then it's a disadvantage for them. Anyways I was shocked and wondered what happened. read more

I used to frequent the original Beaverton TJ before it moved to Cedar Hills. I'm not sure if the new location has higher rent but there are not good deals here outside of clearance. The prices here are at Target prices or higher. I come w receipts: rolling carts are 50$ here. I bought one last week at target that looked nicer for 40$ and another one a few weeks ago at Michael's for 20$. The discount store should be less. Their art is 30$ and up. It used to be around 15$. They have cheap wall shelves that used to be around 12-15$ and now they're 20-30$. Candles are in the 12-14 range for the good brands. Same as a regular store w a sale. Ross carries the same brand and charges half the price. I used to come to TJ for the fun experience of finding a good deal, but this one is not it. I can get more for my money at costcos homegoods section, target, or Facebook marketplace. read more

I wonder if TJ Maxx ever wonders why they aren't more popular. We have had two bad experiences and tonight we decided we won't be going back. In the first case, one of my kids purchased a nice lamp, but when they got it home and put it together they discoveredit is incompatible with North American lightbulbs. We spent countless hours trying to find a bulb that would work and finally gave up. We recently put the lamp in the recycling bin. We contacted TJ Maxx at the time. They ignored us. They still sell the lamp. Tonight, one of my kids tried to exchange the wrong size pants, he had bought less than an hour earlier, for the right size. TJ Maxx said they would not allow him to simply exchange the wrong size for the right size. They required him to formally return the wrong size and wait "at least a week" for his refund, and hope the one size on the shelf that fit him might still be in the store. This is not a store that values customers or customer service. I stopped shopping there myself a couple of years ago because of their chronic understaffing. Looks like we've got a family boycott going. read more

Firstly, I love TJ Maxx. This store is close to the church I pastor so it's easy to stop by after we gather on Sundays. I love when there stores are full of merchandise. I realize there are season where inventory gets a little thin. Wow. The last time I stepped into a TJ Maxx, it was borderline depressing. There was nothing. Shelves were bare. NOT the case here!! I mean, as you can see from my photos, this place has EVERYTHING!!! You can get your gifting, Holiday shopping all in one place. FINALLY good prices again and great selection. I realize it hasn't been open for too long but wow. Clean, bright, organized. A shoppers delight!! I wasn't upset at all at the beauty and selection, though my wallet might have been lol I definitely recommend this location in Cedar Hills Crossing, if you're nearby, to get your Maxx on. read more

Bright and shiney new TJ Maxx conveniently located in Cedar Hills Shopping Plaza. The store on SW 117 closed and this is a definite upgrade! Much bigger footprint, well lit interior, clean and well organized, and stocked. All the usual departments but with more room to walk the aisles and hunt for finds because isn't that why we all shop there? Right now there are lots of Halloween decorations - pillows, throws, pumpkins, figurines, giblins, witches and candy - and also a head start on Christmas. I'm not fond of blending the holidays or seasons because I like to enjoy each for what they offer, but marketing folks have a different plan. They hit you early so you buy more. Women's, juniors, men's and children's clothing load the front of the store. Handbags, accessories, health & beauty and suitcases to the left. Home decor, kitchen items and small furniture in the back. Make sure to check out the jewelry counter. They often have beautiful sterling pieces at affordable prices. Of course the checkout line is filled with impulse purchases. Greeting cards, coffee mugs, lotions, cocktail napkins, chips, cookies, chocolates, nuts, seasonal decor and more. Good luck! Keep focused, you can do it! When I saw that the SW 117 location had closed I was disappointed until I searched and found the new location. Terrible experience. I bought an All Clad 10 inch pan and the cashier took my lid. She claimed it didn't belong on this pan. I got in the car and searched up the product number. Guess what? Definitely came with that lid. She argued the entire time that All Clad lids have the name stamped on top. They do not. I have many of their items and only the quart size products come with the logo on the lid not the skillets. I thought I'd save myself the argument and leave without my lid. What a terrible experience and horrible worker. I'm very disappointed as I usually love that location. We spoke to the manager and explained the situation. She said "I can't find the lid there's nothing we can do you'll have to buy a similar lid for it". We were just in the store 30 minutes ago..... read more

Nice, clean, bright TJ Maxx. Since Oregon has no sales tax, I took advantage of that to do some shopping in their men's department. The signage of this store is clear. I focused on the men's department but I also walked around the other sections of the store and everything was neatly organized. Checkout was a breeze with a nice lady helping me out. read more

Amazing men's jewelry works well with my lifestyle cycling, swimming , active lifestyle cycling daily. I love the men's jewelry collection. This is the second time I have been shopping for a men's necklace for myself at TJ Maxx. The most considerate people work here and take time with their customers to help them be themselves. Exceptional jewelry and prices. I also bought a beautiful silver cross necklace on a thick silver chain. This is a new location for me to visit and this time around I will definitely wish to return here and shop for another backpack and one more pair of black, patan leather heels for church and dress up. Compared to other TJ Maxx locations this one seemed rather sparse as far as merchandise goes. I will say that they did have a generous amounts of beauty supplies however... This location has the worst customer service I have ever had! Two nasty women work behind the counter. One is the CS coordinator . I spend a couple thousand dollars per month online and go into that store to do my returns. These two women have snarls on their faces the entire time they were "helping" me, complaining how i should have come early in the morning (when they aren't there to be forced to wait on me), that other customers were not happy about me taking time returning items, how much work it was to put prices on all my items after I left, and slapping each package down on the counter. I was there on 4/19/24 at 1:30 pm. I hope the lady who helped me can be spoken to, plus the sour looking CS Coordinator working there at the same time. I just wish I would have gotten their names. I will add a post with their names if I go back. I doubt anything will be done, but I will NEVER go back to the Beaverton location. read more
